His innocent wife is a dangerous hacker.
Chapter 418 Wifey
CHAPTER 418: CHAPTER 418 WIFEY
Leo leaned down slightly, his lips brushing the shell of her ear, his voice low and teasing as he whispered, "If you don’t want me to wear black... what am I supposed to wear, hmm? Maybe I should come naked?"
Bella gasped, eyes widening as she shoved him away lightly. "Not funny!" she huffed, her cheeks glowing pink. "Naked? You’re so shameless, Leo! There are so many colors! White, navy, gray... and maybe"—she lifted her chin defiantly—"maybe you should wear pink like Jay!"
Leo froze, horrified. "No. Not pink."
He genuinely could not imagine himself in Jay’s bubblegum shade.
Bella smirked, proud of shocking him.
Leo sighed in defeat, slipping his hand around her waist and pulling her close. "Fine," he murmured, surrendering completely, "whatever you choose... wifey."
Bella stopped breathing.
Her eyes widened, her lips parted, and warmth crept all the way to her ears. "W... wifey?" she whispered, her voice tiny.
Leo only gave her a small smirk, fully aware of the effect.
Bella slapped his chest playfully, flustered. "Don’t say that suddenly..." she muttered, her voice trembling with shy happiness.
But she recovered quickly, lifting her chin with adorable bossiness. "Anyway. Yes, you should listen to me."
Leo almost smiled; there was something addictive about her confidence, her excitement, her little bursts of authority. This was the same girl who once trembled in front of him... and now she was ordering him like she owned him.
He loved it.
Bella scanned the row of suits again, eyes twinkling, until she spotted a beautiful gray tuxedo. The color was soft yet elegant, the fabric smooth, the design modern but classic.
"Maybe this one," she said, holding it up proudly. "Maybe it will look good on you!"
Leo nodded obediently. "Alright."
Bella shoved the suit into his arms with sudden impatience. "Then go! Go and change! I want to see you in it!"
Leo blinked at her, stunned.
Her small hands were pushing a six-foot-two man toward the fitting room like she was the boss of the entire world.
He stared at her, disbelief written across his face. Was this the same bunny who once couldn’t even look him in the eye?
Now she was ordering him around with sparkles in her eyes.
Leo let out a slow breath, his eyes softening, the corner of his lips curving.
Bold.
So bold.
But she was his wife.
And for her... he would let her order him a hundred times.
"Fine," he murmured, brushing his hand along her cheek before walking to the changing room. "Since my wifey wants it."
Bella squeezed her hands together excitedly, her cheeks glowing as she waited with sparkling eyes.
And Leo went inside the changing room, shaking his head lightly, still smiling.
He stood inside the small room with the gray suit draped over his arm, his half-buttoned shirt hanging loosely against his chest. He had just unbuttoned the collar when something in his mind clicked. His eyes brightened suddenly, as if remembering something extremely important or extremely mischievous.
Without warning, he pulled the door halfway open and leaned out, calling in a perfectly serious tone, "Bella. Come inside. I need your help."
Bella, who had been checking the fabric of another blazer with rising excitement, whipped her head around so fast her hair bounced. She rushed straight toward him, her footsteps light and anxious.
"What? What’s wrong?" she asked breathlessly as she stepped into the changing room, her hands already reaching for his arms, scanning him for injuries.
Leo looked down at her with a straight, expressionless face.
"I forgot how to wear a suit," he said flatly.
Bella stared at him.
He stared back.
For a full second, the world was silent.
Then Bella’s face twisted into disbelief. "Silky Leo! Don’t lie," she scolded, poking his chest lightly. "You MUST know how to wear a suit. You literally wear them every day."
Leo blinked slowly. "Not always. I don’t remember how to put all of this together."
Bella placed both hands on her hips, narrowing her eyes. "It’s easy to wear! Even I can do it!"
Leo nodded once, perfectly calm. "That’s why I called you. I don’t have super memory like a hacker, unlike you."
Bella froze. "Oh."
Then her lips curled into a tiny proud smile. "Oh yeah... that’s true."
His head tilted slightly, watching how fast she softened. "So help me."
She puffed her cheeks. "You’re just big in the body but empty in remembering small things," she muttered, shaking her head like she was lecturing a child. "Honestly, Leo... you look like a kid who lost his backpack."
Leo’s eyes warmed.
He didn’t deny it. He just stood there, tall and gorgeous, with his shirt half open, watching her.
Bella stepped closer, her fingers brushing lightly against the edge of his collar. She took the suit from his hands and placed it on the chair.
"Come here," she said, her voice softening as she tugged him by the sleeve. "Stand straight. I’ll make you handsome."
Leo obeyed immediately.
Her small hands moved with gentle precision. First, she reached for the buttons of his black shirt, unfastening them one by one until the fabric loosened over his shoulders. She slid it off carefully, folding it aside before picking up the crisp white tuxedo shirt that belonged with the gray suit.
"Lift your arms," she murmured, and Leo obeyed without a word.
She guided the sleeves onto him, smoothing the fabric along his arms, fixing the collar, and buttoning the shirt with slow, focused movements. Then she took the gray tuxedo jacket from the chair.
"Here," she said softly.
Leo bent slightly so she could ease it over his broad shoulders. Her fingers brushed against the warm skin near his neck as she adjusted the fit, straightened the lapels, and tugged the fabric until it settled perfectly on him.
Every time her fingertips skimmed his skin through the thin tuxedo shirt, a warm jolt travelled through him, slowing his breath in a way he didn’t bother hiding.
Bella stood on her toes to fix the collar properly, her face inches from his. "See? Easy. You’re silly."
Leo hummed, letting her continue, his eyes fixed on her soft, concentrated expression.
