CHAPTER 493: EDWARD STEPHENS, I’M GOING TO DIE.

Robert Stephens furrowed his brows slightly, looking at Edward Stephens without speaking, but the voice of the somewhat nervous butler came from the doorway—

"Young Master, when did you come back? Why are you standing alone at the door?"

Robert Stephens’ expression changed, and he instinctively looked toward the door, only to see George Stephens standing there alone.

The corridor light was very dim, and the little guy stood lonely at the door, looking somewhat dazed.

In that instant, he felt a kind of shock.

For the first time in years, he felt his heart tighten, while Edward Stephens simply walked out without any reaction.

Robert Stephens took a small breath, softened his voice, and said, "George, where have you been? Why are you coming back so late?"

George Stephens walked in, his little face expressionless, long eyelashes drooping, "There’s a woman I really hate, and I want her to disappear from this world. Teacher, what should I do?"

Edward Stephens received the notification that Daisy Ginger had been bitten by a snake; it had already been five minutes.

He quickly ran to the dormitory building.

The floor they lived on was already crowded with people; the medical team had not yet arrived. Daisy Ginger was surrounded by the crowd, her wrist tightly bound with a silk scarf from an artist, her face pale, while Elena Raven was with her.

Seeing the two puncture holes on Daisy Ginger’s wrist, his mind went blank for a moment, and he instinctively pushed through the crowd to hold her.

"What’s going on? How did there end up being a snake in your room?"

Upon seeing him, Daisy Ginger’s tears, which had stopped, suddenly started falling again.

"Edward, I’m going to die," she cried, "I was bitten by a venomous snake. The snake was green, I saw it; such a flashy color must be highly poisonous."

"Shut up!" Edward Stephens gritted his teeth, pressing her mouth firmly, "Can’t you think of something positive!"

He turned to ask the people around, "Did you catch the snake?"

Everyone hurriedly shook their heads.

There was a snake in the room; although no one knew if it was venomous or not, in such a remote place, with no way for an ambulance to get in, being bitten by a snake meant waiting for death, didn’t it?

Although there were men present, none dared to go in and catch the snake.

Soon, the medical team arrived as well.

They treated Daisy Ginger’s wound with a medical kit, squeezed out the blood, and observed her condition. They told Daisy Ginger, "It’s likely non-venomous. The blood hasn’t changed, and what flows out is healthy blood. We also have anti-venom serum here, but the most important thing is to catch the snake first and identify its type."

Upon hearing this, Edward Stephens immediately stood up, but Daisy Ginger hurriedly grabbed him, anxiously saying, "What are you doing?!"

"Didn’t you hear? We need to catch the snake first." Edward Stephens brushed her hand away, "I’ll go check your room."

"Are you crazy!" Daisy Ginger refused to let him go in, "Didn’t they say it’s non-venomous?"

"Then what’s wrong with me going in to catch the snake?"

"What if it’s venomous?"

Edward Stephens paused, looking down at Daisy Ginger’s anxious, reddening eyes, cupping her face and kissing her hard between her eyebrows, "Don’t worry, I’m not afraid of snakes."

Who cares if you’re afraid or not!

What if you get bitten?

Daisy Ginger got up to hold him back, but the man had already released her face and with a swift move, disappeared into the room amid the noisy crowd.

"Edward Stephens!"

Daisy Ginger cried out in panic, almost going in after him, but Elena Raven pulled her back.
