Hold On Mr.! Your Sweetheart is a Real Queen
Chapter 504: Gave him a hard beating on the butt dozens of times.
CHAPTER 504: GAVE HIM A HARD BEATING ON THE BUTT DOZENS OF TIMES.
When Daisy fell, she was knocked out.
She didn’t even have time to yell "Help," as she was dizzy from the fall.
She didn’t know how long she’d been out before she slowly came to on a pile of dead leaves.
The air was damp and smelled of rotting vegetation. It was a desolate cave, with hard rock walls covered in moss. Above her, lush and dense plants formed a natural covering, perfectly concealing the entire cave.
She had inadvertently backed to the edge of the cave, stepped into thin air, and slid down.
Daisy slowly sat up from the ground, wiping the blood from her forehead.
The pile of leaves accumulated over months saved her life. Although she had some scrapes from the fall, the leaves cushioned her drop, so she wasn’t broken.
Daisy supported her waist to stand up, furrowing her brows as she looked at the cave’s exit, seven or eight meters overhead, and the surrounding rock walls covered in moss, smooth without any footholds.
She didn’t hear Emma’s voice. Could she have just run away like that?
Who knows when Edward will realize she’s missing. At the latest, he’ll notice when he returns this evening, so they might only find her by tomorrow.
But Daisy wasn’t worried. The place she disappeared is nearby, and with more people around, they’ll find her.
She exhaled lightly, sat cross-legged with some frustration, and rummaged through her backpack.
Inside was a bottle of water, two packs of small cookies, and some chocolate and strawberry candies she’d absentmindedly tossed in and hadn’t finished.
The rest was cosmetics like eyebrow pencils and lipstick.
The backpack was one she used when catching up with Elena for events, convenient for touching up her makeup and storing some snacks. Unexpectedly, it came in handy now.
Fortunately, she hadn’t found it troublesome to put the backpack down when she took Emma to the bathroom earlier; otherwise, she’d be hungry here.
Daisy self-assuredly unwrapped a candy and popped it into her mouth, the sweetness spreading over her taste buds, relaxing her brain and slightly easing her body.
She sat on the ground, rolling her eyes to gauge the size of the cave and, inadvertently, locked eyes with a pair of eerie eyes.
"!!!"
She was almost scared enough to scream. Fixing her gaze, she saw someone sitting opposite her in the shadow, hugging their legs.
"Damn!"
Daisy jumped up, looking incredulously at the little kid sitting across from her, calmly watching her. Unable to help herself, she blurted out a curse.
"Why are you here?!" Daisy walked over to George. It wasn’t clear when this little guy fell either; his little face was scratched, covered in dirt, with only his deep eyes inherited from the Stephens family betraying emotion.
He gave Daisy a frosty look, expressionless, as if he hadn’t seen her.
Realizing she’d been down for nearly half an hour and this guy hadn’t uttered a word, just stared at her like an idiot, Daisy got a bit irritated.
"Are you mute?" Daisy wasn’t nice to the brat. "Do you know how many people were worried about you when you ran off last night?"
The child remained motionless, only looking at her with dark eyes. As Daisy approached him, she noticed a flicker in his eyes.
She paused, suddenly realizing something, retracting the foot she stepped forward with, and glanced down.
The ground was covered in fallen leaves from above, so as Daisy moved around, she hadn’t noticed the ground, unconsciously assuming it was flat.
Glancing down, a chilling breeze blew from below, scattering a few leaves, exposing a meter-wide rocky pit beneath her, unfathomably deep.
Daisy instinctively stepped back a few paces, looking up at George, who remained expressionless. But recalling the gleam she saw in his eyes, she felt a chill run through her.
This brat wished she would fall into that pit!
Daisy laughed coldly, jumping over the pit and hoisting the little rascal up.
The guy finally reacted, struggling in her grip, yelling, "What are you doing?!"
"What do you think?" Daisy dragged him to the cave wall and then pushed him over her knee, sneering, "I’m going to spank you!"
If she didn’t give him a good thrashing, she feared she’d die from anger!
"You!" George’s face turned red, "If you dare hit me, I’ll tell my dad to punish you!"
"Your dad wouldn’t dare punish me, but I can ask him to help me punish you." Daisy raised her hand, giving his little behind a slap!
"Smack!"
"Would you still dare put mud lumps in my bed?!"
George was taken aback, and then looked up, incredulously at Daisy, completely dumbfounded.
"Would you still dare put grasshoppers in my bed?!"
Daisy wasn’t as forgiving as Edward.
She was downright furious.
This little brat genuinely wanted her dead. Last time he didn’t manage to get a snake to bite her, now he’s silently watching her nearly fall into a pit without warning.
This heartlessness is just like that of Robert!
"For putting snakes in my path!"
"For relishing misfortune!"
"For not learning anything good!"
"Don’t you owe Edward anything?"
Daisy gave him a good dozen or so smacks, making him cry outright.
At first, George resisted on her knee, then started struggling, ultimately submitting to her spanks, wailing loudly.
"You’ve taken my dad away, and you bully me." He cried and accused at the same time, "Why are you so mean? You bad woman, give me back my dad! If you disappear, he’ll come back. You’re so awful, how dare you hit me!"
"I don’t want you as a stepmom. My mom wouldn’t hit me; my teacher wouldn’t hit me. Only you hit me, wuwuwu..."
Daisy remained silent, harshly delivering several more spanks to his bottom, clearing her anger, and then let him go.
She tossed him onto the pile of leaves and stood up, looking at him coldly.
George saw her fierce look and tried to cover his fear with bravado, pointing at Daisy angrily. "You bully me; I’ll tell the teacher to punish you!"
Daisy kicked a pile of leaves at him, deliberately drenching him in them, mocking, "Behave like this, your teacher would hate you. You think he’d ever bother with you?"
George paused upon hearing that, his expression rigid for a moment, before clenching his fists and refuting Daisy, "You’re lying! The teacher doesn’t hate me! You bad woman, taking my dad and slandering my teacher! I don’t want you as my stepmom!"
