CHAPTER 1268: BACK HOME

At Samuel’s mansion a different type of chaos was forming. The girls who were just informed about his sudden departure during night were sitting together discussing what to do next.

Amanda, the head maid was busy serving some morning refreshments while the girls were busy discussing how to ’punish’ him once he returned but not everyone had the luxury to wait for him.

"I can’t delay it any longer. My agent has been hounding me for days, if I delay it any longer, I have to pay massive fines for breach of contract." Robyn said non chalantly but inside she was worried about it.

As a international superstar, she did have massive pressure to deliver but more than that, she was not happy with her current label who was openly exploiting her recent success but she couldn’t do anything about it because she knew how powerful the other party was.

They had clear ties with mobs and gangs making them unpredictable. Even with Samuel’s support there was no telling what would happen to her as it would only need a rogue member to make things difficult for her once she return back to the states not ot mention a single bullet would be enough to end it all which was not uncommon where she was from. Beside, she didn’t want to worry him unnecessarily.

"Are you having troubles? I can Russel to pass the message. WMG will have your back, even massive labels at states wouldn’t be able to act recklessly." Adele added. Russel was the interm president since Samuel acquired the sony’s music empire.

"No, no. I have extended my stay here a lot. It’s better for me to go rather than wait for him." She waved her hand in dismissal.

"Robyn is right. We don’t know when he will be back this time. It seems series." Kate added.

"Isn’t that the case in the past too? I feel like he is always out there doing such dangerous things." Bella added. In the brief time she has known him, she would often hear him doing outrageous things, this time was no different.

"You guys...Is this really normal?" Ellie joined with a look of disbelief on her face. She was thrust into such a absurd situations just because she was at wrong place at the wrong time.

She was just trying to get away from a pervert who just happened to be someone powerful which led to her being kidnapped and rescued leading to her taking shelter at his residence.

But nothing about the situation made sense when she saw these girls talking about him proclaiming themselves as his ’women’ so casually. She had to admit, he had the background and the looks but still, it was weird in her normal eyes to see such a special relationship that she only heard in stories not to mention, seeing famous people sitting right in front of her.

Each and everyone sitting with her was a beauty for sure. Maybe it was common among rich folks, she wasn’t sure as she never came in contact with someone like him before.

"What do you mean by normal miss Ellie?" Adele asked.

"I mean this... nevermind. Can I go too? I can’t always stay here, I have practice and a tornament coming up too." As a professional rugby player, there was nothing more important than the coming international tournament.

"He didn’t say anything about it but since the main culprits behind the incident is dealt with, it should be alright right?" Dhia added.

"The Greens have been sanctioned by most of the elites and there is a criminal investigations launched against Robert and his father." They have all heard the news. It’s was the talk of the town as the Green family was well connected meaning many different parties were held accountable for their years of mismanagement and cruelty.

It would be impossible for them to get out for this lifetime especially Robert who was the main force of evil whose crimes were still being investigated. By losing the crown’s support, there was no one protecting them anymore.

"Good, I don’t know how to thank him-"

"There is no reason for you to mind it. You were a victim too so you can relax with peace of mind." Kate added. She did give her a second glance but retracted her gaze knowing it was rude.

Others also looked at Ellie thinking where she fit but for now everything seemed accidental and there didn’t seem to anything between Samuel and her.

She was also quite different from his usual choice, not timid or shy but built like a tank with massive legs and sturdy frame but she did look cute in her own way. There was no telling with him and they didn’t really mind seeing the girl was not malicious like what thry felt with Talia.

With no news about his whereabouts, at noon both Robyn and Ellie decided to leave. Steve was responsible to accompany Ellie while others also tag along to the airport to drop Robyn off.

With Dhia and Kate’s insistence, Steve left few people to protect Ellie from the shadows for few more days until all the rats were caught. There was no telling what desperate people would do but it was highly unlikely.

Adele, Kate and Bella stayed for the night before leaving the Estate too. Kate’s business was halted for some time now so she needed to contact her supplier and resume her bar while Adele needed to track the progress of her album’s release.

It was ready but since Samuel urged Russel to keep a keen eye, everything needed to be perfect. After all, it was her debut album and he didn’t want any hiccups.

Although, he was sure her talents would shine through, he wanted her to have a even more explosive growth than the one she had in parallel reality. It was only fitting for a once in a generation talent like her!
