CHAPTER 26: CHAPTER 26: KANEKI AND SHIZUKA

"You should go first~ I need to search for clothes for myself~" Shizuka Said as she made this excuse since she needed to let him go first due to some reason

Kaneki agreed after hearing it since what she said made sense to him especially considering her size, it might take a while for her to find the clothes that would fit her

As for him, he thinks he needs to wait till his current clothes are washed and dry then wear those clothes again but until then he might need to wear a Towel

It is only for a short while because at most it will take 30 minutes for his clothes to get dry in the washing machine

With that in mind, Kaneki went inside the bathroom after removing the apron leaving Seako, Rei, Saya and lastly Shizuka who was unknowingly smiling towards him

Inside the bathroom...

After entering the bathroom, he started to remove his clothes and toss them into the washing machine and then put washing powder into the machine

Fortunately, electricity and gas are still not cut off even in this zombie apocalypse otherwise it would be a problem for them to even eat considering he can’t cook without a stove and even make coffee for himself

Tossing every piece of clothing from his body, the only thing remaining was his dirty Eye patch on his eye, he looked into the nearby mirror

Then carefully remove it, revealing an eye that is totally different from any other eye in the world including animals

The iris is a striking shade of red, while the sclera becomes pitch black with crimson veins extending across the eye and into the surrounding skin

’It looks unpleasant as always’ He inwardly said in his mind as he focused on his eye since every time he sees it he couldn’t help but feel disgusted by it

After that, he throws that eye patch into the washing Machine but then turns on the machine, as he goes to finally take the bath

’These scents’ Kaneki inwardly said this as due to having a sensitive nose, he could smell the fragrance of those 3 girls who were taking baths before him

He ignored this smell and entered the bathtub as soon as he dipped inside, his whole body became relaxed, especially from his mental stress about Shizuka’s safety

*sigh*

"I don’t know if they can survive or not..." Kaneki muttered this in a low tone since he had been worrying about this for a while now

Even though he might be able to protect them from any harm but there are some problems He can’t protect them from

For example starvation and dehydration, he knows it is only a matter of time before food runs out and he doubts that by the time food runs out then they will be able to find any food that is safe to eat

It is the Same with water even though there are lakes and rivers still don’t know if it is safe to do so since there is a possibility that infection can get into water bodies too

It is just a matter of time, the problem he doesn’t know where they should go now since he doesn’t have details about how many places have been affected by this virus

That is the reason he does not exactly know where they should go and that is the biggest problem since they do not have the resources to go and check places one by one

"What are you doing here?" Kaneki asked this suddenly as he sensed Someone coming inside the bathroom when he was already there

"boo~ I wanted to surprise you but you ruined the fun~" Shizuka replied avoiding Kaneki’s question as she opened the door and entered the bathroom without waiting for Kaneki’s permission

’How the hell did she even come inside’ Kaneki couldn’t help but inwardly say this in his mind since he clearly remembered locking the door after getting inside

Shizuka comes inside wearing Nothing but a towel, even though wearing that towel wasn’t helping her even a little in covering her figure

"You really look as cool as that day~" Shizuka Said this as soon as she saw Kaneki without his eye Patch, the eye which seemed to be disgusting in Kaneki’s mind but in Shizuka’s mind image of that eye was quite the opposite

"You didnt answer my question," Kaneki said This as Shizuka still hadn’t answered His question but somehow he had a feeling he wasn’t getting any serious answer from her

"Hmmmmmm~ let’s say I wanna bathe with my little brother and strengthen our bond~," Shizuka said this after thinking for a moment and finally answering the question

’She really has no defences against me’ Kaneki couldn’t help but say this in his mind after seeing how Shizuka was coming towards him without any fear

"It is not appropriate for you to come like that, especially towards a male" Kaneki said this hoping to get some sense into her empty brain

"It is not ’just’ any male, it is my little brother so it’s totally fine~" Shizuka replied as she came near him

Kaneki couldn’t help but feel panicked seeing this since she peeked a little more than she saw ’everything’ which was shameful even for him

*woosh*

With a blink of an eye, he gets out of the bathtub and uses a towel to cover his private part but thats all he can do right now

Because his clothes are still in the washing machine and if he goes out like this then other girls will see him like this too

"’Pfft- you really are shy~," Shizuka said as she laughed seeing Kaneki’s reaction, she found him cute reacting like this

Even though Kaneki might be able to escape in the blink of an eye still Shizuka managed to take a glimpse of ’it’ and this is her first time seeing it in Real life
