House of The Dragon-A God Amongst Men
Chapter 340: Campaign In The Sands V
CHAPTER 340: CAMPAIGN IN THE SANDS V
(Third Person POV)
[Yronwood, Dorne]
Maegor stood over the bodies of several House Yronwood warriors, his armor and head covered in blood as he held his sword in his hand.
"Tch...!" He said, "I told you! That attacking Yronwood first was the right call! These fuckers are nothing!!"
He was speaking to a fellow Duskguard Knight who was finishing off a soldier with a stab of his spear. All around him, the rest of the Duskguard Knights were dragging out the surrendered prisoners that did not want to fight. Not only that, all of the innocent smallfolk and highborn were also corralled into a corner of the courtyard as usual.
He walked over to the crowd as he rubbed his neck, "Any word from Olyver?" He asked a nearby Knight, "Huh?"
"Yes." The Knight said, "He has sent reinforcements our way. We are to secure Yronwood and have complete control of the area near the Red Mountains. We hold this Castle while we continue with our campaign."
Maegor scowled, "Tch...." He said, "What else did he say?"
"We can use this Seat as our base of operations. The House fell and had no choice but to surrender." The Knight told him, "We await more orders."
"The Red Temple is near, we go and take it down after we get settled." Maegor said, "Have the entrances reinforced and anyone hang anyone who dares to resist or escape. I want someone to scout out the temple and report back to me."
"Very well." the Knight said
Maegor looked at the crowd, "As for you lot." He said, "Consider yourself fortunate. The God that I serve is lenient enough to let you live, so do yourself a favor and accept him as your true god!"
"The Trinity will never make an impact in Dorne!" Someone said
Maegor narrowed his eyes, "Who said that?" He asked, "Bring them to me."
A Knight walked inside the crowd and pulled out a man, tossing him into the ground in front of Maegor.
Maegor looked at the short and stubby dornishman who began to get up, "Is that so?" He asked, "And who do you worship, dornishman?"
"R’hllor, The Lord of Light." He said with a scowl, "He who was the only one to deal a blow to Drakken."
Maegor swung his sword at his head, cutting off the top part of it. The crowd gasped in horror and shock as the corpse collapsed to the ground, blood pooling around it.
Maegor then spat on the body, "Where’s your Lord of Light now?" He asked before looking at the others, "Anyone else?! Huh?! Which one of you worships the Seven? The Red God?! Huh?! Step forward and insult the Trinity, the God of War and Death. Go on!! I give you one free chance!!! If you have the balls to do it, I will make your deaths quick!!!"
Nobody said anything nor did they step forward.
Maegor looked at the Knight next to him, "You have any protests about this?"
"None at all." The Knight said, "That is what Our Lord would have done."
"Good." Maegor said, "All of these people..."
"Put them to work."

(Drakken’s POV)
[Harrenhal]
I was on the edge of the bed, rubbing my neck as I felt Jocelyn sit up behind me, "That was a nice little session." I said, "I have to admit, you’re growing on me."
"M-My Lord..." She said softly
I glanced at her, "What is it?"
"I....I think we should stop doing this." She said as she had her body covered with the blanket, "I don’t feel good about this. It is not right.....I feel terrible..."
"Terrible? What makes you say that?" I asked her
"I want to apologize to Maegelle." she said softly, "For doing this....I feel so guilty."
"Your moans of pleasure say otherwise." I said with a scoff, "A woman who feels guilty about doing this would not open her legs to me so easily."
"I..." She said softly, "I do not know what has gotten into me. I really....maybe...maybe I am a terrible person."
"Compared to me, you’re not bad at all." I stood up and walked over to the table, "Stop feeling sorry for yourself, for Maegelle. She’ll come back around soon, I will simply give her space."
I looked back at her, seeing that she was hugging her knees as she had a sad frown on her face. It was as if she was beginning to regret every action she had taken up until now.
"I...." she said, "I want to see them."
I narrowed my eyes, "Who?"
"My daughters." She said softly
"Hm." I said as I turned back around, "You made your choice, Jocelyn. Are you going to change your mind? Now of all times?"
"Was this a mistake?" She asked, "Was....I....maybe I was wrong to-"
"It doesn’t matter." I told her as I turned back around, "You took my cock into your mouth willingly. You wanted me to give it to you so I did. I gave it to you, Jocelyn. So don’t sit there and feel guilty about the choice that you made. You want to apologize to Maegelle? Sure, when she returns. But you want to go to King’s Landing to see your daughters? It is too late for that."
"But...." She said as she looked at me
"You..." I said as I walked back to the bed, "Belong to the Trinity. To nothing and nobody else, Jocelyn. You are my servant, a servant of the God of War and Death. Nothing more, nothing less. I gave you a choice, don’t forget that."
A tear formed in her eye, "But....my daughters...."
I reached for her cheek, patting it gently, "Do you remember them?"
"No...." she said softly
"Then....." I said as I pulled away, "It won’t matter."
"But Aemon will tell them about me, wouldn’t he?" She said, "Deep down, I know that I have children...that they are out there.....I just know it....I just don’t remember it."
"That is not my problem." I said
"Please, My Lord..." she said softly, "Allow me just this.....I will be your slave, specifically for sex. I will-"
"Oh shut up." I cut her off, "Don’t say such bullshit. If you want to make a deal, fine.....let’s. But not now. I am in no mood for any of that these days."
"But...." She started
"I will consider it after I sort the situation out in Dorne." I told her, "Try anything and I will shut your mind off and keep you in a cage."
She shuddered, "Y-You would do that?"
"Yes." I said without hesitation
"I...." she looked down, "Very well....."
"For now, go about your duties." I told her, "And make sure to wear the dress I will pick out for you tonight, it’s a bit tight.....it will complement your curves very well."
"Of course." She said softly
"You are mine, Jocelyn." I told her,
"That’s something you cannot escape. Not anymore."
