"I want a transport treasure."

One of the people behind the counter immediately arrived to serve him as he asked in return.

"Can you give us more information on what type of transport treasure you want so that we can recommend you accordingly?"

"Long distance? Short distance? Are there any resource constraints? Speed requirement? Stability level? Inner space? There are more, but these are the basic attributes."

Eryndor thought for a bit about the information he received about the hunter.

It wasn't the best case scenario, but it wasn't the worst case either.

The hunter lived in a country which was on the borders of the campus of the training camp.

Since it was so far away, Eryndor thought of using a transport treasure to ease his journey.

Transport treasures were always better for the cultivator both in terms of mental and physical health if they had to travel long distances.

The difference was negligible in short distance.

The resource constraints which the person behind the counter asked for was basically how much resources could one afford to drive the transport treasure.

Transport treasures worked on a variety of different resources. It could be blood or bone of a certain level, no matter if it originated from a beast or a cultivator, it could be energy pills like Pure Qi pills and many more things.

The most standardized form of fuel was a Qi crystal.

When someone asked you how much your transport treasure consumed, they were normally asking for the Qi crystal consumption.

Eryndor thought for a bit and answered the person.

"I need it for a long distance, it would be better if it doesn't consume a lot of resources.

"Speed isn't an issue, anything would be fine. It needs to have good stability, and enough inner space to let me stretch my legs at the minimum."

The person nodded his head and said.

"We do have such transport treasures, but I'll need more clarification on the last one.

"For you to have enough inner space to stretch your legs, we have two types of items, one which can be miniaturized, and the other which cannot be.

"As you can guess, the former employs spatial mechanisms, and will be significantly more costly. Even the cheapest transport treasure of that kind costs more than 500,000 spirit coins.

"Which one would you like?"

Eryndor breath was caught in his throat as he heard the price.

I definitely can't afford that.

No bottle of pill exceeded the cost of a thousand spirit coins.

Even from the treasures, apart from the inscription plate and Qi Gathering pendant, none of them exceeded thousand spirit coins in cost.

Both of the above mentioned treasures cost less than fifteen hundred spirit coins.

Eryndor didn't even need to think as he answered. "The normal one, one which cannot be miniaturized."

He saw a flash of disdain pass through the eyes of the clerk when he answered what he wanted, but didn't comment on it.

The clerk led him towards a section of glass cabinet and introduced the transport treasures on it, albeit less enthusiastically than before.

Eryndor didn't pay him any mind and continued listening to the details.

After the clerk was done adding his own opinion and giving extra information, Eryndor read through the information on the transport treasures written beside them.

Of course, it wasn't the real version, but toy versions of the items to give the buyer an idea of what they would be getting.

1. Cloudrunner Carriage

Description: A lightweight carriage constructed from cloud-infused wood and mounted on sky-gliding wheels that hover slightly above the ground.

Fuel: Low grade Qi crystals (extremely efficient—one crystal can last a full day).

Low grade Qi crystals were the smallest ones. One of them cost fifty spirit coins.

Speed: Moderate, but steady.

Stability: High—glides over uneven terrain with minimal shake.

Interior: Padded seating for 2–3 people with reclining space.

Notes: A favorite among wandering cultivators and peddlers.

Cost: Twenty thousand spirit coins.

This one is good, although a bit costly.

2. Stoneback Ox Cart

Description: A sturdy cart pulled by a Stoneback Ox puppet. It is extremely durable, though a bit slow.

Fuel: One low grade Qi crystal powers the ox for up to a day or two depending on extra load.

Speed: Slow.

Stability: Excellent, even in mountainous terrain.

Interior: One-person sleeping platform with cargo compartments.

Notes: Often used by solo merchants or wilderness dwellers.

Cost: Twelve thousand spirit coins.

This one can be considered.

3. Wind-Tread Boat

Description: A canoe-shaped glider that rides air currents along open landscapes.

Fuel: Requires a constant low Qi input; 3 low grade Qi crystals for 8–10 hours.

Speed: High on open plains; low in dense terrain.

Stability: Medium; bumpy if air currents are unstable.

Interior: Open air, recliner-style seating.

Notes: Ideal for long, open roads or flatlands. Useless in forests or dense cities.

Cost: Thirteen thousand spirit coins.

Nah, this one is useless.

4. Soilwalker Sled

Description: A low-slung stone sled that uses Earth-element array formations to slide smoothly across terrain.

Fuel: Low grade Qi crystals—one lasts for forty hours.

Speed: Very slow, but it consumes extremely little energy.

Stability: Absolute rock-solid stability—even during tremors.

Interior: Thick quilt padding and a protective canopy.

Notes: A favorite of elder cultivators with back pain.

Cost: Twelve thousand spirit coins.

Eh, this one is alright as well.

5. Drifting Reed Platform

Description: A floating raft woven from Spirit Reed Grass and supported by buoyant wind talismans.

Fuel: Minimal—natural Qi from the air supports it in spirit-rich environments. 1 low grade Qi crystal lasts for two to three days depending on the Qi density of surrounding environments.

Speed: Variable—slow in low Qi zones, and fast near Qi dense areas. Can be changed if Qi crystal is used.

Stability: Decent.

Interior: Open, but can be fitted with a privacy canopy.

Notes: Often used near sects or for meditative travel.

Cost: Sixteen thousand spirit coins.

This one is good as well.

Eryndor narrowed his eyes in thought before eventually choosing one.

However, he would have to go back and bring all the remaining loot from his room as well.

He turned to the clerk and gave his answer.
