Beyond Earth, in the vast and dark expanse of outer space.

Humanity has long yearned to explore the universe. Yet, in 1999, despite the fact that some superpowers had begun developing spaceships and space stations, humans had only managed to reach the moon.

Anything beyond that remained an absolute no-go zone for humanity!

At this moment, far from Earth, about a thousand kilometers from the Sun in the Milky Way, a colossal pyramid, the size of a mountain, floated in space like a colossal spaceship. The pyramid was immense, so large that if it appeared over New York City, every citizen would be able to see it.

But now, compared to the ever-burning Sun, this pyramid was as insignificant as a speck of dust!

At the apex of the pyramid, on the altar facing the Sun, an old man sat cross-legged. He was gaunt, with hands as withered as chicken claws, yet he exuded a powerful aura. He sat on the altar beneath a translucent protective shield that blocked the Sun's scorching power.

It was unclear how much time had passed, but Apocalypse opened his eyes, a smile spreading across his face. "As expected, by using all my abilities to resist the solar energy, my innate powers are steadily increasing!"

He seemed quite pleased, realizing that now, even without absorbing or converting other mutants' abilities, his own power could still grow!

However, when Apocalypse gazed at the Sun before him, he couldn't help but smile wryly.

He was once the "God of Mutants," and after assimilating various abilities, his power was at least twice as strong as it had been a decade ago!

But compared to him, he was nothing.

"My Master must be even stronger now," Apocalypse thought with a deep sigh. Despite his power, he could only survive long-term about a thousand kilometers from the Sun.

But his master could survive inside the Sun itself!

The surface temperature of the Sun is around 6,000°C, and the core temperature is an astonishing 15 million°C!

Surviving inside the Sun?

Even Apocalypse, who once considered himself a god, with his Omega and Alpha class defensive mutant abilities, would never dare to contemplate it! Yet his master, Caesar, had been inside the Sun for a full three years!

Had Apocalypse not witnessed it with his own eyes, seeing his master enter and emerge from the Sun alive, he would have thought Caesar had perished.

Still, Apocalypse couldn't quell the unease his heart. "What kind of being is my master? Is he a true god?"

Inside the Sun.

The raging and intense energy burned furiously within the Sun's interior. There was a young and perfect, muscular body, curled up as if sleeping.

Every pore on his body acted like tiny black holes, absorbing the Sun's abundant energy and utilizing his internal energy conversion field to enhance his Superman physique.

Words could hardly describe the immense strength of this Superman body. Even his hair and body hair could effortlessly withstand the scorching temperatures within the Sun!

Suddenly, the golden-haired young man opened his eyes. His body moved, and in an instant, he vanished completely from the Sun.

In just a moment, the golden-haired youth had traversed a thousand kilometers and arrived within the protective shield surrounding the pyramid.

Apocalypse froze for a moment, thinking he had imagined it. But when he saw the youth before him, he was overjoyed and exclaimed, “Master, you’re finally out.”

“Give me some clothes.” Caesar smiled helplessly. Unlike his true form, he didn't have Venom or space manipulation abilities to instantly change or summon clothes.

“That’ll do.” Apocalypse waved his hand, and with his mutant ability in the creation category, a set of casual clothes materialized to cover Caesar's muscular Superman body.

“How long have I been inside?” Caesar asked curiously. While inside the Sun, constantly absorbing energy, he had lost all sense of time.

“Exactly three years,” Apocalypse answered respectfully.

“Another three years have passed, huh? Time really does fly,” Caesar chuckled.

Apocalypse couldn't help but ask, “Master, how much has your strength increased in these three years?”

Caesar pondered for a moment, estimating, “My physique and internal energy have likely increased about tenfold.”

“Ten… tenfold?” Apocalypse gasped, his eyes wide with disbelief.

Heavens!

A decade ago, Caesar's body alone was already invincible on Earth. Now, it's increased tenfold? Is there anything in the universe that could harm him?

Apocalypse cautiously asked, "Master, with your current full strength, a single punch wouldn't be able to sink a continent on Earth, would it?"

"I haven't tried," Caesar shook his head and glanced at Apocalypse. "Why don't you try? Your strength should have improved in recent years."

"No, please don't! These old bones of mine can't take it," Apocalypse was genuinely frightened.

Taking a full-strength punch from his master? It would be better to just kill himself— at least there might be a chance to be resurrected with his abilities.

"Alright. How long has it been since I last returned to Earth?" Caesar looked towards the direction of Earth.

“Almost thirteen years,” Apocalypse responded, bowing his body slightly.

"Then let's go take a look," Caesar rubbed his chin and snapped his fingers lightly.

"We're going back?" Apocalypse was somewhat surprised.

Caesar shrugged. "If we don't go back soon, I'm afraid one day I'll completely consume all the solar energy."

Apocalypse laughed bitterly.

This reason was truly unprecedented and unparalleled.

Caesar and Apocalypse left the pyramid near the Sun. Apocalypse utilized his mutant abilities, while Caesar, relying solely on his Superman body filled with unmatched energy, flew side by side with Apocalypse towards the distant blue Earth.

Near Earth's orbit.

Caesar suddenly stopped, looking at the large space stations floating nearby. He sighed, "Earth's technological development is truly rapid. It's only been a few decades, and now there are space stations."

Seemingly sensing his thoughts, Apocalypse, who was floating nearby with a halo of light surrounding him, used telepathy to communicate, "Master, you may not know. Due to the legalization of Mutants, the birth of some genius Mutant scientists has greatly accelerated Earth's technological development in recent years."

While Caesar practiced, Apocalypse made his annual, brief trips to Earth to extract supplies and learn about Earth's current development trends. Without Caesar's orders, he always sneaked back and forth unnoticed.

Caesar nodded lightly.

Inside one of the large space stations.

An astronaut in a bulky spacesuit was performing inspection tasks. He looked up and saw the young man and old man floating not far outside the station. He was so startled that he nearly collapsed!

Caesar waved his hand and greeted him. Then, his speed exceeded human dynamic vision, and together with Apocalypse, they vanished without a trace, completely entering Earth.

"Is that a person or a ghost?!"

The astronaut’s mouth remained agape as he screamed and rushed back into the cabin. This became the greatest unsolved mystery in Earth's aerospace industry from that point onward.
