CHAPTER 117: THIS CELL IS SO DIRTY IT MAKES A THOT’S LAP LOOK HOLY

The guards said that they don’t need to keep an eye on other cells.

Naturally, Jack asked them why?

And the guards answered:

"Because all the other cells are empty. Only you two are at this level. This level is so empty you might think ghosts live here. Haha."

The guards laughed among themselves and went back to chillin like some friends out in the woods who act like they are having fun exploring but are actually lost.

Now only Jack and I were left in the cell and I came out of the dark corner as well.

Jack turned around, looking at me.

"Did you hear that, pal? It’s only us here on this floor. I feel like a VIP. Like an only man who has porn in a post-apocalyptic world."

"Fcuk that. This level is for the most heinous criminals and in all these years you were the only one qualified to get arrested here?"

"Yeah. I know it’s a big thing but you can learn it too if you just work hard. I didn’t get successful easily."

"I don’t want to learn that at all. And you should be ashamed that you are the only one here. In the whole Moral, you alone are the molested one."

"Molested one? I wasn’t molested. In fact, it was me who moles—"

"Don’t complete that. I know. I just wanted to say something that rhymes with enlightened. But forget it. Tell me this, did you not know that you were the only one in this tenth level?"

"Nope. I never really peeked in other cells as I was sure there would only be men inside. I mean, this is a prison, so I thought prisoners must be here. I shouldn’t be the only one here with crimes, right? But alas, now I know I was wrong. I can’t believe I am the only one in Moral who tried to sexually assault a woman. Brave men stopped taking birth, it seems."

"If you call that brave then it’s good they stopped taking birth."

I sat on the floor again.

The corners of this cell were the dirtiest area but the effect of Jack’s dead body on one corner made the other corners look like a Thot’s lap.

And this cell had nothing.

Not even a bed of stone and water to drink.

Though, what it did have was a dead body and its ghost.

Basically, it didn’t have anything that a normal cell has and what it had was something no other cell in the world has.

Anyway, it was high time I should focus on the quest.

I looked at the floating Jack in front of me.

"I want to escape from here. Tell me how I can do that."

Jack heard me.

I am sure he understood my question as well so... why was he now looking behind?

"What is it?" I asked.

Jack turned around. "You were asking me?"

"Yes?"

"You were asking me how to escape from here?"

"Yes!"

"Nooo!!"

Jack banged his head on the floor. It passed through the ground though. But what the hell happened? Did he press the wrong button? Is he learning his controllers?

"What happened?"

Jack shot his head at me.

"You asked me for advice? No one ever did that, pal. Thank you for considering me worthy enough to give suggestions! Waaaaaaa!"

He cried out loud. Like a feminist who found out that having multiple sex partners doesn’t mean women empowerment.

Nevertheless, I replied:

"I don’t have any choice, that’s why I asked you. So don’t be so happy about it."

"Still!" Jack yelled. "Even after seeing my behaviour you believed that I would be able to advise you. That’s a touching move, pal. You touched me in a place where even my hand couldn’t reach."

"I won’t ask where I touched you for my own sanity and I am glad you know your behaviour is concerning. But cut the melodrama. Just tell me the way to escape from here."

"Oh. That has one simple answer."

"Yes. Tell me that."

Jack wiped his tears and nodded. "Sure."

He leaned towards me. His voice turned to a whisper, I held my breath as Jack finally revealed:

"I simply don’t know."

Motherfuc—

"And you said it had a simple answer!"

"It was simple though."

"You just said you don’t know."

"That’s why it was simple."

"The hell?"

"Look, pal. I’ll say it again, I don’t know."

"What do you mean you don’t know? You are a ghost!"

"I am a ghost, not a boyfriend hiding in his girlfriend’s mother’s bedroom who has to find a way to escape before his girlfriend and her father finds out that their partners are cheating on them."

"What’s with that comparison? That’s just evil."

"But you got the point, right? I don’t know how to escape from here. I can’t move more than five meters far from my body. So I wasn’t able to find the exit which is probably at the top level."

"So you are useless?"

"Well, I can lick my elbow. Or yours."

I sighed. "Spare me."

I rested my head on the wall and raced my mind for a way.

"The cell is locked like normal. The keys must be with the guards. If I can take the key from the guard then I can think of next steps. I can bang on it but the noise would alert the guards. Something else must be done."

"Hmm.." Jack rubbed his chin. "You can dig a tunnel."

"Yeah? From where? Through the floor to straight out of the ground? My legs hurt just after standing for a few minutes, if I started digging a tunnel it would turn into my grave."

"Then you can dig from the ceiling?"

I stared at Jack.

"People would make a parody of horror movies if they ever met you."

"This is no time to praise me, pal. Think of something. The limit is two days."

"I wasn’t... praising y—Never mind. I know the limit is two days. And before getting out of this prison, I have to think about getting out of this cell. I need the lock key."

"Yeah. That’s crucial for it."

"Can you go and take it? Silently? And probably without not dropping your pants?"

"I can’t touch things, pal. If I could, you wouldn’t be talking to me with this much friendliness."

I rubbed my eyes.

"Then I guess, I need to call the guards here myself. How many guards are at this level?"

"Hundred at least."

"Alright. Do you know which guard has the key for this cell?"

"Yes."

I beamed. "Great. Tell me which guard has it. His appearance, his name, everything."

"Oh. That also has one simple answer."

I have a bad feeling about this but I still showed hope and asked:

"Tell me then. Which guard has the key for this cell?"

Jack nodded.

"The key for this cell is with..."

Jack paused, I leaned towards him and he leaned towards me. His voice turned into a whisper as with perfect timing and full confidence, he revealed:

"No one. The original guards lost the key twenty years ago."
