Memories of killing humans, drinking their blood, and wallowing in the back alleys.

Yet, unlike before, I didn’t feel the same headaches or nausea.

That makes sense.

I had already seen all the personal traumas that could have affected me.

The memories that led me to lose my emotions, the memory of my first kill, and the memory of killing my first friend.

Those were memories I had already revisited through the fragments.

The density of time spent as a monster was different from that of a human, so in reality, the time I spent in this world wasn’t very long.

Having dredged up all those painful memories, what was there left to show?

I questioned the fragment I had just devoured.

In this subconscious realm shrouded in darkness, I stared at the fragment that had once been part of the Demon Lord.
