CHAPTER 435: CHAPTER 435: WHAT ABOUT THE ATTITUDE?

"As a salesperson, is this your work attitude?" Xu Xiuxiu frowned, her tone extremely unfriendly.

"What’s wrong with my attitude?" The sales guide who walked up to Xu Xiuxiu shrugged, displaying a clueless expression about what she had done wrong.

Xu Xiuxiu felt infuriated. Generally, as a salesperson—even if you are arrogant but incompetent—when a customer questions your attitude and you still respond in this tone, it clearly indicates a problem.

"Do you still want to look at the bags?" The salesperson asked impatiently, giving off a sense that she believed Xiuxiu couldn’t afford it and that it was a hassle to serve her.

"No need." Xu Xiuxiu flatly rejected the sales guide who had spoken, scanning all the sales staff in the store with annoyed eyes. She then smirked and said, "As sales guides, your behavior and attitude truly bring shame to Soup City. It’s a wonder how you were even hired." She vaguely criticized before turning around and walking out of the luxury bag store.

"Tsck." As Xu Xiuxiu turned to leave, she clearly heard a mocking laugh from behind, "So meddlesome. Who do you think you are! People like you, a penniless bumpkin trying to feel something you can’t afford. What kind of place do you think this is? Daring to lecture me about my attitude when my best face and manners are reserved for those who can afford them, why come here and waste my time?" The salesperson said with discernible contempt as she clacked back to her group in her black leather shoes.

"Xiao Su, just ignore her. What can a person like that understand?" The other four or five sales guides, upon hearing her, didn’t find anything wrong but instead spoke soothingly to her.

Hearing those words, Xu Xiuxiu almost exploded in anger, but she knew it wasn’t the time to be angry yet. With an annoyed mind, she sporadically visited several more luxury stores. Some salespeople had good service attitudes, which Xu Xiuxiu found satisfactory. However, the behavior of salespeople in some of the more famous luxury brand stores was utterly snobbish. Despite dressing simply and not being poor, those salespeople completely ignored her, and their words were infuriating.

"Heh." After making a round, Xu Xiuxiu pinpointed the attitude problem in three or four stores. Compared to the many stores in the entire luxury shopping mall, these were just a few exceptional rotten apples. Xu Xiuxiu felt she could comfortably handle the situation since, initially, she worried about discovering too many problematic spots and not knowing how to manage them. Just a few typical cases, and she wouldn’t hesitate to make a strong move as a warning to others.

Xu Xiuxiu was not often seen in Soup City, but the managerial-level employees there knew about her decisive and swift actions. When Lu Zhenglin was sitting in his office and suddenly saw Xu Xiuxiu entering with a frowning face, he understood that something was amiss. After all, her grim expression was frightening, and the words that came out of her mouth were almost life-threatening.

"President Lu, Mr. Ye and I hired you in Soup City at a high salary because we think you are talented and can bring unique ideas and supervisory benefits. However, that group of arrogant salespeople in the luxury shopping mall, each of them, high and mighty, do I spend money to hire them just to pick and choose who to serve? Is this the Soup City under your management?" After walking around for an afternoon, Xu Xiuxiu had accumulated a lot of frustration and thoughts. Seeing Lu Zhenglin, she threw at him two consecutive questions.

"This, this, Mr. Xu, did the people below do something? Tell me, and I will certainly handle it." Lu Zhenglin suddenly became nervous and flustered, almost sweating coldly. In front of this young woman, even though he was nearly fifty and usually a top manager, he stood nervously.

There was no way he could underestimate this woman in front of him, not with the courage he lacked! Xu Xiuxiu might look delicate and harmless, but her tactics were myriad. Otherwise, how could she have established herself in the business world and become a leading figure in City Z at such a young age? Even he had to admit, this woman’s strategies were highly effective, showing nothing but utmost respect towards her.

And the problem Xu Xiuxiu had just mentioned was actually quite common among those sales staff below; being a manager, he was vaguely aware of it. Although he intended to manage it, sometimes there were moments when control slipped because those people were adept at hypocrisy and deception.

"Handle it? President Lu, I can’t wait for you to handle it. This matter, I will handle it myself today. Come with me!" Xu Xiuxiu furrowed her brows as she glanced at Lu Zhenglin. She didn’t doubt his capability in running Soup City, which had actually improved under his management. However, the issue with the contemptuous sales staff needed radical action. Thinking this, Xu Xiuxiu turned and walked out.

Lu Zhenglin quickly complied and followed Xu Xiuxiu close behind. When Xu Xiuxiu had earlier stormed into Lu Zhenglin’s office with full momentum, everyone working outside knew it. Now, seeing Lu Zhenglin trailing behind Xu Xiuxiu, they all followed under the silent directives exchanged through glances.

"What’s going on?" Some, baffled, followed and quietly asked a possibly knowledgeable supervisor.

"How would I know."

Murmurs and whispers filled the air, of which Xu Xiuxiu was particularly sensitive. She was fully aware of the changes behind her but said nothing. After all, she intended to properly tidy up the atmosphere in Soup City, saving these people from running wild since Ye Hua was busy with work and she didn’t have much time for personal supervision. It would be better to handle the situation in one fell swoop.

Thinking thus, Xu Xiuxiu stepped into the first store that had left a bad impression, her gaze cold as she looked at the chatting sales staff.

"Fire all the sales guides in this store. I don’t care how you do it, shutting down for reorganization or finding replacements, fire them all. And if another incident of snobbish salespeople occurs, the next time, the high-paid managers will be the ones getting fired." Xu Xiuxiu commanded with a powerful presence, completely different from the woman who had first walked into the store wanting to shop.

Fire them! Dismiss them! How does this woman have the authority...
