The door was not made of iron or steel but simple wood. It was creaking, and there were dents already as he shoved against it hard.

I looked around to find something to push against the door, but the small chairs were not going to hold the door for long.
“Let. Me. Kill. You” He said with each shove against the door and he finally managed to make a hole the size of an apple in
the door.
Wooden chips and splinters flew everywhere as I ran to the long desk and tried to push it. But it was huge, and it took all my energy to barely nudge it.
I turned around and ced my back against the table and tried to nt my legs on the opposite wall to push the table back and it moved a little.
“Help!!”
I screamed again, but he was still shouting and trying to break the door with his rage. It was only thanks to the injections, which must have weakened him, that he needed several tries to make the doore off its hinges.
Because he was built strong enough to make the door fly like a feather in one go.
pushed and pushed, and the table finally moved enough to stop the door from openingpletely.
d that he was stuck in there for a while, I took a few precious seconds to breathe properly.
I stood a little away from the table while he continued to kick and pound at the door.
Frustration and fear crawled up my spine as I looked at the intensity with which he was trying to get to me.
“Why are you doing this?” I asked the murderous man stuck halfway through his transformation.
The sound of thrashing and kicking was loud, so I was not sure if he had heard me or if he wanted to respond to me.
“I will kill you,i” /iHe repeated in the same bloodthirsty tone and mmed his fist into the door. The apple sized hole had gottenrger due to his persistent kicks.
I could now see his face clearly, and he still looked murderously angry.
I could run away from this room and try to find some help, but my stupid mind was stuck on trying to find out why he
wanted to kill me.
If he thought I was Morwenna, I had to tell him I was not.
That was my best guess either way.
Besides, even if I was her descendant, I was not responsible for whatever was happening to him.
“I have not ieven /iseen you before in my life!!” I screamed, trying to get my voice to him through all the ruckus he was
creating.
“I will kill you!!” He said again and I raked a frustrated hand through my hair.
“I am NOT Morwenna! I did not put you in this state!” I screamed but thest kick he gave almost tore down the door
The table was still there but the hole wasrge enough for him to crawl out ande at me.
He and I realized that at the same point so I grabbed the nearest sk and hurled it at him. He deflected it with ease, so I threw a few more sks and bottles at him.
I had lifted onest sk at him, but he jumped out of the hole and straightened to his full height.
Then I turned around and ran for my life. I ran through the corridors and several pathways that were barely lighted by the torches flickering with dim light.
I had no idea if it was day or night outside. But the cave was enormouslyrge.
A few novices shrieked hysterically as I ran hard even if my feet wanted to just copse. They saw the tall, angry half werewolf lunging after me and immediately got out of the way.
I just hoped somebody would use their brains enough to call some guards or something. But then I had never seen guards
around here.
Despite not wanting to; my mind immediately thought of Killian.
He could take on this man.
But I also realized how incredibly weak I was. He had been training me and forcing me to take onbat but I would just
be grumpy.
I realized only now that I could run and maintain a steady pace only because of the rigorous running he made me do despite boiling hot sun or rain.
If not for that, I would have gotten smashed into a pulp by that angry werewolf the minute he saw me.
“Elder Amara!!” I screamed loudly, my voice echoing through the cave walls and bouncing on it.
“Help!” I screamed and threw a tray a girl was carrying down the corridor I was running in.
She shrieked, and I pushed her towards the wall to keep her out of harm’s way while the tray flew towards my pursuer.
He deflected it all and kept running.
Why was he not slowing down?
I finally reached the stairs and began climbing up hastily. I had to get to the open ground as fast as possible.
I could feel him hot on my heels as I climbed up while looking back every now and then. Every time the novices and other

temple workers shrieked hysterically and ran around.
Nobody tried to stop him as he kept lunging at me.
I couldn’t me them because he was terrifyinglyrger and stronger than all thedies working here.

“Wait right there,” I heard a voice and turned around to see Amara standing down the stairs. Some relief poured in me.
I thought she would now get to him faster, but the werewolf only gritted his teeth angrily at her and scowled.
You are trying to keep me down. I wille for you after I am done with her.”
Amara screamed.

“Somebody call the Crone!”
A few novices nodded and scurried away as the werewolf turned back to me. He raised his hand, and I saw that the hand that was covered in fur had nowpletely transformed into a wolf’s paw.
He brought out his ws, which glinted in the dim light as he roared at me.
“Now, nobody can stop me from killing you!”
