CHAPTER 428: INSIDERS AND OUTSIDERS! II

The woman known as The General stopped her movement completely, her consciousness shifting from abstract study to immediate tactical assessment.

In a single step that folded distance according to her will, she appeared beside the powerful entity whose bearing suggested him to be a butler.

"Oh?" she asked, her mind buzzing at every detail of his report while her consciousness began processing everything.

The butler-entity nodded with movements that carried accumulated gravity of his own, his multiple Regulations creating resonances that painted aurora streams across the warped space around them.

"It appears the Taboo of Adrastia has undergone resurgence somewhere within our territorial sphere, across the distant Star Seas" he reported.

"From prior historical analysis, the Chancellors will likely elect to send Star Sea Annihilation Squads to locate and eventually cleanse this Taboo. But even now, many Squads remain engaged at border territories."

His expression grew troubled.

"Too many have been eliminated within the Defensive Star Perimeters, in those Butchering Grounds where Outsiders press against our territorial boundaries. If command truly diverts operational Squads to deal with this internal matter..."

The General’s expression darkened.

"We have had our resources stretched thin dealing with Outsiders for hundreds of years," she said, her voice taking on undertones that mixed frustration with growing determination. "And they want to continue this hatred of lineages brought about through ancient plots and betrayals from these very same Outsiders? Through pride elevated beyond rational consideration? I always fucking hated those old fools for this..."

She shook her head with movements that carried their own gravitational signature!

"No. I will not follow the same line of stupidity as previous Generals." Her decision crystallized with force that made nearby black holes pulse in acknowledgment. "Divert all intelligence regarding this Adrastia Taboo directly to me. Do not transmit anything to the Chancellors yet. See if you can stop it from spreading in the networks of the Void Dominion Empire as well."

Her mind began processing possibilities of what could be!

"I want to determine if I can communicate with this Taboo directly. To potentially gain another force for deployment against Outsiders, since the fucking Kythernai Swarm proved to be a strategic dead end."

The butler-entity nodded.

"It will be done, General Lydia."

General Lydia! One of the nine Star Sea Generals of the Infinite Radiance Sovereignty, a being whose authority extended across clusters containing thousands of Planes of Existence and Worlds!

Her power was tremendous, the forces under her command representing military capability that could have reshaped entire star sectors.

Her legions alone contained tens of thousands of Empyrean Star Nexus Transcendents, everal thousand Stellar Genesis Embodiment experts, and hundreds of Galactic Nexus Embodiment entities!

Not to mention those under her direct command whose power levels remained classified, and her own terrifying capabilities that had earned her position among the nine beings who coordinated policy for forces that ruled star sectors of all Star Seas.

When she learned about the resurgence of an Adrastia Taboo, her immediate instinct had been contact!

But she represented only one voice among nine Generals of the Infinite Radiance Sovereignty.

A powerful one, but it was one.

The Void Dominion Empire commanded equal resources through different organizational structures. Their response to news of returning Taboo remained unknown, unpredictable, potentially catastrophic for anyone attempting diplomatic resolution!

At this same moment, within the expanding domain of Ethemia, forces of entirely different nature were engaged in intimate conversation.

Inside the radiant cerulean seas of Thalassara that now extended into outer space itself, Achilles and Rose floated side by side with their bodies positioned horizontally as if the vast stellar waters served as bed extending toward infinite horizons.

Rose’s face carried the flush that showed the recent completion of what she had termed her mandatory sessions.

For post-exercise conversation, she had requested detailed information about the enemies he just destroyed. It represented a unique type of... pillow talk.

Achilles wore expression of satisfaction as he finished describing his systematic elimination of Sovereign Void Imperium leadership.

Rose’s eyes blazed with emerald fire that could have ignited small suns, her mind processing the scope of what he had accomplished while her protective instincts demanded personal participation!

"One of these times, you have to take me so I can burn them myself," she said, her voice carrying anticipation. "My flames are beginning to exceed the temperatures of stellar cores. I want to observe how their skin and existence melts under properly applied heat."

She spoke of violence with enthusiasm that would have terrified lesser beings, but Achilles smiled at her bloodthirsty determination. She was someone whose protective instincts had been elevated beyond conventional motherhood into a force capable of terrifying elimination of threats to their family.

He continued his report, this time addressing enemies whose significance was no less compared to the others.

"Apart from the forces within the Star Seas," he said, his voice taking on instructional undertones as strategic briefing replaced intimate conversation, "one of the reasons I’m confident about engaging our enemies openly relates to thejr current deployment across peripheral territories."

His enhanced consciousness accessed intelligence gathered through multiple sources...Ethemia’s cosmic awareness, the recently assimilated Emperor’s memories...

An Emperor who ruled an entire sector was a treasure trove of memories!

"Their forces are currently fighting Outsiders..

the same entities who orchestrated the death of the First Adrastia Emperor King by introducing that woman who triggered these chains of betrayal. Many of their assets are scattered across battlefields called Butchering Grounds, engaged in conflicts so terrible that casualty rates exceed replacement. Like mere cattle, countless go to die. If people were not so stupid back then...the First Adrastia Emperor King would have likely ended the conflict with Outsiders through shere force and power alone."

His expression grew thoughtful as he shook his head.

"Our ultimate objectives will include forces of the Infinite Radiance Sovereignty and the Void Dominion Empire, alongside these Outsiders who sought to weaken the Star Seas by engineering the betrayal and persecution of Adrastia Emperor Kings across generations. Since they feared my Lineage, I will give them something to be fearful about!"

HUUM!

Rose smiled as she head this, moving to wrap her body with his as she uttered out.

"Okay. For now, I want to meet Ethemia. The prick who seems to have made many decisions about me and my man without my input. I want to meet this Cosmic Singularity that has made me one of its Champions...alone."
