"First off, what type of void beast do you want?"

"A flying type, preferably one with stealth," Nash said.

"Oh? A stealth-type flying void beast? Are you sure? They usually aren’t very strong."

"It’s fine. I just need one fast enough to escape," Nash replied casually.

He wanted a pet for convenience and transportation, not for fighting.

"I see. Follow me, then. I’ll take you to the flying-type void beast hatchery."

Along the way, Diana began to give them facts about the nature of the hatchery.

It was called a hatchery because all the void beasts inside were in egg form.

Not every dark beast laid eggs, but nearly all void beasts in the hatchery came from the dark plane.

Taming a void beast egg obtained as loot from a dark beast was ten times easier than taming a child conceived by an adult void beast.

The contractual process for natural birth void beast was far more complex than the one directly transformed by the Dark Plane as their reward for killing the dark beast.

Because of this complicated process, almost all void beast pets in circulation were eggs, dropped as loot from defeated dark beasts.

Soon after arriving at the hatchery section for stealth flying void beasts, Diana began introducing the eggs for Nash to choose from.

"This is a Night Feather, a raven-like void beast that absorbs all light when flying. It has the potential to advance to tier 6 War Emperor."

"Next is a Shade Bat, which also has excellent stealth properties and tier 6 potential."

"This is the Moonshadow Owl, a rare breed with better stealth than the others. Its fighting ability isn’t bad either, earning it the title of night hunter."

As Diana continued introducing void beast eggs one by one, Nash noticed something off.

"Professor Diana, why are you only showing me tier 6 void beasts? Are there any better ones?"

"Don’t you know that from tier 1 Void Warrior to tier 5 Void Marshal, you can only contract a void beast with tier 6 potential?" Diana explained.

At these stages, the soul was too fragile that contracting a void beast with higher potential was as good as suicide.

"Is that so?"

Because he mainly accumulated books about void and soul training manuals, Nash was unaware of this common knowledge.

It seemed that he had to put part of his parallel consciousness to work on saving various general knowledge.

"Yes, the soul’s innate limit can only handle so much. Unless you have a matching genetic ability or advance to tier 6 War Emperor, you’re limited to these void beasts."

So, although Nash wanted a void beast with higher potential, he lacked the funds to do so.

Sighing, he turned his attention back to the void beast eggs with tier 6 potential.

Anyway, unlike others who could only contract one or two void beasts, he could have as many as he wanted.

Recalling Diana’s explanation about the various void beasts, Nash activated his runic body to sift through the eggs.

As he examined the runic programs within each one, his eyes lit up.

Each void beast was accurately assessed, leaving no loopholes for him to exploit.

Finding no advantage to seize, Nash settled on the void beast egg with the most numerous and complex runic programs he could afford.

"Oh? A Phantom Falcon? Nice choice! It’s not the stealthiest, but it’s one of the fastest among flying void beasts," Diana commented, noting Nash’s pick.

"Hmm, this’ll do..."

Though the Phantom Falcon wasn’t as stealthy as others, its speed was exactly what Nash wanted.

He mainly needed the void beast for daily transportation.

As for reconnaissance, escaping, or support, it would depend on whether he could create a working module system for it.

That’s right, one reason Nash bought a pet was to test and create a working module system for others.

Applying a module system to another person was risky and prone to issues, so Nash opted to experiment with a void beast first.

Satisfied with his choice, Nash paid 3.5 billion nova credits and bought the Phantom Falcon.

"You can find the void beast contractual method in the Nova Library. As for its food, I’ll give you a year’s supply for free," Diana offered generously.

"Thank you."

"No problem. Since you’re Camilla’s friend, you’re my friend too."

"Haha, you’re the best, Sister Diana!" Camilla said playfully.

"As long as you don’t forget our agreement, you’re always welcome here. I’ll also give you my special concoction, it’ll make you even more beautiful!" Diana said with a wink.

Discussing various beauty methods, Diana learned about Camilla’s fascinating blood property, thinking it held miraculous properties that could halt aging or at least slow the body’s decline.

Eager to explore this field, Diana already saw Camilla as a treasure.

"Of course, I’ll cooperate with you after our second training session," Camilla said with a casual nod.

She didn’t mind if her blood was used for experiments.

They agreed that if Diana produced successful results, they’d split the profits.

Meanwhile, watching their exchange, Nash stayed quiet, planning to ask Camilla about it later.
