I Can Program My Body?
Chapter 221: Infinite Void Tempering Manual
CHAPTER 221: INFINITE VOID TEMPERING MANUAL
A few minutes later, Nash easily reached 100% Soul Tempering.
[Training Module System: Infinite Soul Tempering Manual
Current Soul Tempering: 100%
Efficiency: 10,000 Attributeless Elemental Crystals/Percentage
Absorption Speed: 500 (300) Attributeless Elemental Crystals/second]
"It’s the same progression as before..."
From needing 1,000 Attributeless Elemental Crystals per percentage to 10,000.
After reaching 1,000% Soul Tempering, it should jump another tenfold.
"It seems I can reach 1,000% Soul Tempering today!" Nash exclaimed.
He hadn’t expected to temper his soul faster than he could increase his saturation.
Even though he needed ten times as many elemental crystals as before, his soul tempering also increased ten times in efficiency.
As they say, it’s easier to burn than to collect.
While reveling in the incredible speed of his soul tempering, Nash carefully felt the amplification it brought to his soul.
"Hmm? It only amplifies my soul 30 times per percentage?" Nash estimated.
This meant that for every percent his soul tempering increased, his soul amplification would be 30 times instead of one.
Of course, the soul saturation already tempered was no longer part of the equation.
Opening his runic panel, he saw a more intuitive display of his soul tempering progress.
[Nash Navre:
Body Saturation: 10,000%
Soul Saturation: 18,174%
Soul Tempering: 100%
Void Amplification: 10,000x
Soul Amplification: 21,174x
Physique: 100x
Runic System: 10]
"It seems the Infinite Soul Tempering Manual needs more work..." Nash sighed.
Although each percentage of soul tempering granted him 30 times more amplification, he estimates that the theoretical limit was 100 times!
Not even reaching half of what was possible, Nash felt a bit disappointed.
It seemed he had focused too much on speed rather than quality.
"No matter, I’ll revise it later..." Nash decided.
Although he knew the soul tempering manual he created was subpar, there was little he could do about it.
He simply didn’t have enough time.
To create a soul tempering manual that could amplify his soul up to 100 times, he needed to read and comprehend hundreds of millions of books.
Unfortunately, the speed at which he comprehended the soul tempering manual was slower than when he read lower-tier books.
Although he wanted to improve it further, with little time left before their training in the Dark Plane, he had to advance to Void Commander quickly.
Otherwise, instead of freeloading from the Nova Sector, he would be using his own merits to advance.
Calming his excitement about the new manual, Nash began to deduce the Infinite Void Tempering Manual.
---
Five hours later, while his mind was deep in deduction, his soul quietly advanced to 1,000% tempering.
[Training Module System: Infinite Soul Tempering Manual
Current Soul Tempering: 1,000%
Efficiency: 100,000 Attributeless Elemental Crystals/Percentage
Absorption Speed: 500 (300) Attributeless Elemental Crystals/second]
"It indeed takes a hundred thousand to go from 10,000% soul tempering..." Nash sighed.
The Nova Sector had given him a billion Attributeless Elemental Crystals. He thought it was enough, but now it seemed it could barely make a dent.
Just for his soul saturation to reach 100,000% he needed 9 billion elemental crystals, much less the soul tempering, which required 90 billion!
Factoring in soul condensation in case he advanced during the Cosmic Competition, Nash needed to stock up at least 1 trillion Attributeless Elemental Crystals to avoid running out in the Dark Plane.
"This is a lot..."
An Attributeless Elemental Crystal was worth about 15 Nova Credits.
One trillion crystals meant 15 trillion nova credits!
"Huh... Is there an organization I could take a loan from?" Nash wondered, thinking of the Nova Government and the Star Tower.
If any loaning service existed, those two were the only ones likely to grant it to him.
Mentally noting the various expenses he had to cover, Nash opened his runic panel.
[Nash Navre:
Body Saturation: 10,000%
Soul Saturation: 17,179%
Soul Tempering: 1,000%
Void Amplification: 10,000x
Soul Amplification: 47,179x
Physique: 100x
Runic System: 10]
"Tsk, even if it’s expensive, it’s worth it!"
In just a few hours, his computational power had multiplied four times!
From over a million, he now had 4.7 million computational power.
"It seems my decision was right..."
Although he sacrificed quality for speed, the rapid influx of computational power gave him an additional edge to optimize it much faster.
"With this, I should have ample time..."
His agenda wasn’t just about deducing the void tempering manual but also creating the universal module system for his team.
With over two months left, he should be able to complete both.
Glancing at the time, Nash decided to play with Camilla for a bit, recharging his energy for another sprint.
---
A day later, in his residence at Crescent Starfall, Nash observed his team.
"Not bad. It seems you’ve recovered your spirit."
Seeing the twelve of them back in top form and full of energy, Nash couldn’t help but nod in satisfaction.
"You’re not kicking us out, are you, Captain Noir?" one of them joked.
"Of course not. As long as you don’t leave, why would I kick you out?"
After joking around to ease the atmosphere, Nash turned serious.
"For the next training, you’ll be divided into two groups for sparring."
Since Nash wasn’t sure if he had enough data on their Runic Programs, he could only let them fight while carefully recording everything.
Hearing their new task, the team couldn’t help but groan.
Sparring again? Even though it was now a team fight, they couldn’t forget the grueling sessions from before.
"Now start!"
Not wanting to waste time, Nash quickly split the team into two and let them begin.
After doing so, his consciousness returned to the runic space and began to work.
---
A month later, after rigorously training the twelve seeded talents before him, letting them fight in every way imaginable, Nash had successfully deduced the void tempering manual.
"Finally done!"
This time, instead of chasing speed, Nash pursued quality.
Numb from reading and comprehending millions of books on void tempering, his hard work had finally borne fruit.
Unfortunately, despite all his efforts, he only managed to deduce a void manual that could take him up to 1,000% void tempering.
Since all void manuals were capped at 1,000%, Nash essentially had to pioneer the path to his advancement.
Exiting his runic space, Nash turned toward the twelve talents, sparring numbly before him.
