I Can Program My Body?
Chapter 325: Celestial Beast (2)
CHAPTER 325: CELESTIAL BEAST (2)
Following the Void Celestial Beast, Nash watched as it quickly found a dark beast and killed it effortlessly.
Moving from one place to another, as if guided by a tracker, it sought out the closest dark beast without fail.
"Find and attack a Tier 5 dark beast."
Wanting to confirm his suspicion, Nash changed his order.
Sure enough, with the change, the Void Celestial Beast circled until it found the target.
"I see, it’s using the frequency and magnitude of each energy to find the target," Nash concluded.
Aside from the limited range, the Void Celestial Beast seemed to easily distinguish its target.
Even a Tier 4 lord-level dark beast, which had a stronger energy signature, was not mistaken for a Tier 5 dark beast.
"What about resources? Can it find one?" Nash suddenly thought.
Unlike himself, although he could control void energy masterfully once they merged, his sensitivity to various energies was still low.
However, since the Void Celestial Beast could easily differentiate between different dark beasts, it should have no trouble finding resources!
Soon, changing his order, Nash watched as the Void Celestial Beast effortlessly found a resource in this barren land.
Although it was only a Tier 3 ore stuck in the ground, it was still a revolutionary discovery.
Refining his order further, Nash asked the Void Celestial Beast to find a light-type Tier 5 resource point.
Providing it with the energy frequency of light energy, the void concentration that a Tier 5 resource would have, and some coordinates with a dense concentration of dark beasts, Nash watched as the Void Celestial Beast set off.
Through various tests, he noticed that the range within which he could stay connected with the Void Celestial Beast was similar to the module system.
With his current soul power of 11 billion, the range the Void Celestial Beast could cover was up to a 1 billion-kilometer radius.
If there were no light-type resource points within this range, Nash would likely give up and steal resources from other cosmic teams.
Traveling further than a billion kilometers was not something the current Nova team could undertake.
He estimated that before they could travel millions of kilometers, they would already be too exhausted and defeated.
As for the energy needed to sustain the Void Celestial Beast, it could either replenish itself by absorbing free void energy from the environment, or Nash could send it energy through their connection.
Feeling the Void Celestial Beast travel several thousand kilometers without finding any light-type resource points, Nash sighed and redirected his connection elsewhere.
"I wonder how powerful the Celestial Beast made from my soul core is," Nash mused.
Although it was also created from 10,000% soul condensation, it had been enhanced 100 times by the soul enhancement buff!
Activating the materialization of his soul, the Celestial Star System, he tried to summon the Soul Celestial Beast.
However, like a dried-up husk, he couldn’t squeeze enough power to summon it.
"How is this possible? I can’t even summon it?!"
It seemed that his soul core had been enhanced so powerfully that he couldn’t even bring it forth with his own power.
At this point, unless he removed the soul enhancement buff, which he couldn’t, he would never be able to summon the Soul Celestial Beast.
"Hmm? That’s right, the Overlimit Module!" Nash suddenly remembered.
Soon, activating the [Overlimit Module System], he tried summoning the Soul Celestial Beast again.
However, coming full circle, in addition to strengthening his power, his soul power also increased, making the task more difficult.
To summon a Celestial Beast, he not only needed void energy as the expenditure but also the power from the source the Celestial Beast was made from.
This meant that to summon the Soul Celestial Beast, he also needed enough soul energy.
Unfortunately, the [Overlimit Module System] wasn’t precise enough. Besides increasing his soul energy, it also enhanced his soul itself.
"It seems I really need to master the runic command first!"
With mastery over the runic command, he could not only increase the power of the [Overlimit Module System], but also control what it enhanced more precisely.
Fortunately, with abundant computational power, he should be able to analyze all the blue runic commands making up his soul in just over a month.
Giving up on summoning the Soul Celestial Beast, Nash could only return to their base.
---
A few days later, the second Tier 5 resource point they found was exhausted.
Migrating to another location, they quickly packed up and rode Tsuka to the closest Tier 5 resource point.
Having already gathered enough wind-type resources, they didn’t need to go to any particular resource point.
Arriving at the closest tier 5 resource point in just a few hours, they quickly wiped out the dark beast nest without a hitch.
Watching everyone begin to work, Nash couldn’t help but look at his weapon.
"Just a little more, and my Severance Knife will evolve to the next level," Nash thought with anticipation.
He had already killed over 7 million Tier 4 dark beasts.
After wiping out one or two more dark beast nests, he should be able to reach 10 million kills!
"Haha, my knife is almost ready. It’s time I concentrate on advancing," Nash thought.
Having already deduced the Infinite Elemental Manual and reached the peak of the Void General Rank, Nash only needed some accumulation to break through.
The reason he hadn’t started training these past few days was that he had been studying the Celestial Star System.
Unfortunately, he found nothing noteworthy. Besides the soul and void core, it seemed he could only use elemental cores to summon other celestial beasts.
As for laws or other types of energy, he hadn’t delved deeply into them yet.
Nash even looked through various records of soul materializations, comparing his to others.
What he learned was that while a Void Venerate could access their origin space, finding and activating their soul materialization was another matter.
Unless one was exceptionally talented, most could only activate their soul materialization at the Void Marshal Rank.
Even then, from what he found, 90% of soul materializations were item-based, while 9.9% were beast or plant types.
Something as unique as the Celestial Star System seemed to be nonexistent, as he couldn’t find any similar records.
