CHAPTER 73: DELIVERY ARRIVED (2)

Earth Horizon Alliance Headquarters:

Arriving at the headquarters, Nash saw a busy scene as squads showed up one after another, seemingly summoned just like him.

"Nash, you’re here too?" Chloe, the captain of the Behemoth Squad and now a chancellor of another state, greeted him.

"Chloe? Are you here to report as well?"

"Yes, it seems everyone was summoned to the headquarters." Chloe smiled, looking at Nash with a bit of loss.

After the raid a few months ago, when Nash took the final kill, taking the life of a void commander, Chloe knew she could no longer chase after this handsome man.

Coupled with his connection to the Fiero family and that woman, she had no chance left.

"Chloe, there you are!" A burly man suddenly appeared and pulled Chloe into his arms.

"Red Lizard? I didn’t expect you two to be together!" Nash muttered in surprise.

The "Red Lizard" he called out to was Ivan, the captain of the Red Dragon Squad, once the rival of the Crimson Phoenix Squad.

"Why wouldn’t we be together? I’m handsome, Chloe’s beautiful. We’re a perfect match!" Ivan shouted arrogantly.

Although Nash’s status and strength had been rising fast, Ivan still felt superior to him in love.

Holding Chloe close, he wore a smug look all over his face.

"Whatever."

Seeing Nash didn’t care, Ivan and Chloe kept provoking him, kissing even right in front of him.

"Tsk. Can you let me through first?"

Watching them shamelessly show off, Nash almost vomited.

Seriously? This is a public space. Can you have a little decency?

Finally, after maneuvering around them, Nash managed to escape the torture.

On the way, he spotted familiar faces returning to Earth Horizon Alliance headquarters.

Besides the four major states, most of the 190 states on Earth were managed by these squad captains.

Seeing them come back, Nash felt a little relieved.

"Looks like those void commanders weren’t targeting me."

The courier’s delivery must have been a coincidence. The real purpose of this meeting was to discuss Earth’s current situation.

Feeling his worries ease, Nash continued deeper into the headquarters, following the coordinates he’d been given earlier.

---

Soon, he arrived at a room where eight people seemed to be waiting for him.

Of the eight, Nash recognized seven. First was Abner, the leader of the Earth Horizon Alliance.

Next were the four void commander leaders of the four major states, including Trish, the one who put him to manage the Eastdam State.

The other two were the void commander in charge of all void crystal mining and the military commander of Earth’s forces.

Sensing their auras, Nash wasn’t the least bit intimidated.

After eating tier 2 and tier 3 dark beasts, creatures as strong as, or even stronger than them, how could he be afraid?

As for the last person... just standing in his presence made Nash’s blood feel heavy. The void energy inside him even seemed to churn like it was under intense heat.

"A Void Venerate?" Nash could only guess.

A Void Venerate was comparable to a tier 4 dark beast, a monster that could destroy a planet single-handedly.

Facing someone with such power, Nash knew better than to be careless.

"Are you Nash?" the man asked coldly, not fully recognizing him because of the mask.

"Yes, it’s me." Nash caught the hint and removed his mask.

"Not bad, really handsome! No wonder you caught the attention of one of our academy’s top students!"

Even as a man, he couldn’t help but be captivated by Nash’s appearance, let alone a girl.

He wondered how many students Nash would’ve seduced if he had gone to the Nova Military Academy.

Hearing the praise, Nash just smiled politely and didn’t say a word.

His face always stood out, and Nash could only hope it wouldn’t cause him trouble...

Seeing Nash stay quiet, Kai felt bored and got straight to business.

"I’m Kai Range, one of the tutors at Nova Military Academy. Camilla asked me to deliver this to you. Check if everything’s there." Kai introduced himself, then took out a pile of items from his storage bracelet.

Feeling a little tense, Nash slowly checked what Camilla had sent.

First was a set of exquisite training equipment from a gravity chamber, neuro reflex chamber, healing pods, combat robots, training suits, and more.

Second were various resources: potions, dark beast meat, S-class weapons, and even crates of rare elemental crystals.

The last item was sealed inside a secured container.

Just as Nash was about to open it, Kai spoke up.

"I suggest you open that when you’re alone. Camilla gave it to you personally."

"I see..."

Catching the deeper meaning in his words, Nash stopped and planned to open it later.

"Good. Now that I’ve delivered everything, I’ll head out. Let’s see if we meet again in the void." With that, Kai vanished into thin air.

But when Nash looked up, he saw a faint flicker in the sky.

Kai was moving so fast that he was almost invisible to the naked eye.

On the other side, as soon as Kai left, the seven people in the room let out a long sigh of relief.

The pressure Kai brought with him was too suffocating.

If not for the Nova Government’s laws, Kai might’ve killed them on the spot.

After all, they weren’t just encroaching on a student’s property from Nova Military Academy; they were outright stealing from their planet.

However, greed for massive profits blinded them to the danger. Even though they were scared out of their minds, they still tried to hold their ground, refusing to leave Earth without an official order.

Though it was mostly a bluff, they were prepared to face Kai if he forced them off the planet.

The people backing them weren’t weak either.

Although they couldn’t compare to the Nova Military Academy, as long as they didn’t break the law, the academy wouldn’t dare move against them recklessly.

Now that the fiasco was over, a huge weight lifted from their hearts.

Turning to Nash, their eyes were filled with scrutiny.

However, not forgetting about Kai, they didn’t speak a word.

"Leave it here, I’ll have someone deliver it to the Eastdam state. You have to attend the assembly first," Trish, his acquaintance, suggested.

"Yes, Commander!" Nash nodded and showed his respect.

Without his own storage bracelet, it would be a hassle to move all this now.

Nash wasn’t worried the void commanders would tamper or steal his stuff.

With someone like Kai personally delivering his package, who would dare mess with it?

Not bothered in the least, Nash only took out the heavily protected container and waited quietly for the assembly.
