Her voice was strangely calming the storm that continue to torment him slowly calm down. Easing as if they found a light that they guide them to safety.

Eros unknowingly smiled again he was happy but he knows that his mission to join the investigation will arrive soon. He hope he will be allowed to join, his desire to avenge his people was so strong it would leak an heavy pressure, that all he could think is how to prove he is worthy to be approved. So while waiting for a reply he is managing the recovery of the most affected area of the region.

He wants to show them that he is doing his duty as heir, and unlike his brother who is more focused on residing and fighting for the tower, he is here helping his people. Though speaking of his siblings, his sister seems to be getting mush farther away. She became cold and for some reason he could no longer recognize her.

"Whats wrong? Are feeling sick again? I brought some tea with me it might help you calm down" she sincerely offered but Eros just shook his head.

"I'm sorry but I cant join you for tea, I need to return to the estate since my father might bring the news I have been waiting for"

Emilia frown not understanding what he meant but Eros just find that reaction cute, so with a bit of restraint he pinch her cheeks.

"Dont worry its nothing dangerous, you can just think of it as one of the things a heir must do" he reassure her giving a smile he rarely does.

'Scared to be exact' he added in his mind but didn't try to say it. He observed her waiting to see what her next words will be. Emilia knowing the look in his face quickly shifted her expression and honestly speakto avoid any suspicion. In her experience its best to express you feeling when dealing with Lionhearts, these people are highly sensitive after all.

"I am just a bit scared that is all"

Eros locked his gaze on her and sensing no lies he immediately took her to the station which contains the large teleportation pod.

Emilia and her two knights stood at the magical circle waiting for it activates.

"See you" she said with a smile Eros could not comprehend.

"Dont make a face like we wont see each other again, your makig me nervous"

Emilia jolted a bit not expected that she was making that face, and as the magic of the teleportation take over. She left a smile that made her fiance in daze.

"What....was that smile"

He felt confused but felt like he should ask later.

"If there is a problem just in case I will send a message for her"

Right after that he went on and return to the the center of Lioness, Olympia.

"Welcome back young master" greeted by the butler, in his arms are files which something he needed to see.

"My father, did he received the response on our request?"

Isagani shook his head making Eros disappointed.

"I have been waiting since yesterday, how come they are not responding immediately"

"Young master we should wait, the reconstruction must be affecting everyone's since there are many things to look out for, let us wait and see what kind of result will come to us"

Eros was still conflicted but decided not to think further. As he walk towards his office he remembered something.

"Where Athena?"

"If you are looking for the young miss she is busy visiting the families of our fallen soldiers. She might arrive soon but I doubt you will see her"

"Okay but report to me whatever she did there"

Isagani nodded and left immediately when they arrive right in front of the office.

Eros remain inside his office and as he review the documents he found out the main source of the information about the broodmother.

"The tower? They are the ones that first discovered and capture those creatures?"

He review it even more until a certain name made him fee uncomfortable.

"Apollo, he was one of the people that help the investigation"

Reading that name made him frown, unpleasant, his feeling for his brother was still complicated. He knew that he already committed a sin yet he couldn't find it in himself to apologize.

"Hah, its you again..."

Eros felt many different emotions whenever that name was brought in.

Guilt

Anger

Adoration

Hatred, and

Jealousy

He hated and love him, he adore his existence at the same time he was also afraid of what he can do. The talent in magic he couldn't have, and the fear of losing the things he worked so hard to achieve. Those things are running rampant in his mind, making him confuse on how to interact with him.

"Should I ask information from him? I should be able to understand more of the situation if it were to come from him"

Eros began contemplating but he still felt a bit of discomfort approaching him. That feeling began to spread making him angry.

"I will handle this mission, I can do this"

He put his resolve in gettting help from him but then, for a moment he was left stunned. A burning sensation began to envelope him along a headache that made him panicked for a moment.

"What is this?"

He kneel down for a bit, suffocating until an unknown dawn on him, as if it was being ordered for him to obey it.

"What...."

A voice was whispering, and without a chance to fight Eros surrendered to this domineering power.

"Right.....for the mission I must do everything"

In the next second he had forgotten the painful experience he just went through and went back to his investigation.

"I will ask Apollo he should be able to help me"

He then send a message to one the mages working for him.

"Sent a letter to the tower, for Apollo Lionheart"

The conversation ended and the young duke resume his duties.

"Now, lets continue the relief distribution, I should allocate some of the supplies here"

The fourth day of Ianuarius

Just like what Alicia said as rest for an entire day, and now I should see if all the seeds I have planted are growing properly.

I should be able to see it, how much of the path I made, are they currently taking now.

So to see it, my first destination is the man that surely have all the knowledge of the current situation.

"Lets go see the archduke"

I was about to teleport there when I heard those familiar footsteps, smiling I glance to see a black haired girl looking at me with her calm red eyes.

"I see you are leaving already" she told me, her eyes unmoved and remaining calm.

"I need to check how everything is progressing"

She look at me as if scanning my entire body for any kind of injury, she is worried again. It seems my figure slowly dying in her arms cause so much distress she no longer trust me going alone.

"I am not of to fight, this time I will just watch"

She just gave a me a look, then nodded.

"Be careful"

She reminded me, I only smiled, then nodded my head as an answer.

"I will return before lunch, I hope I could join everyone later"

"Then I'm off" I gave her, one last smile beforehand disappearing. My destination was already set and as my eyes settle, my surrounding was already different.

I was back to the office I went when I was with Alicia, of course I know this is not the main office I wanted to see what files is hidden here.

With curiousity I walk around the office untill something caught my eye.
