"Do you have any infrared night vision equipment?"

"Don't worry, I brought it."

Ye Chen turned around and said to Anying, and unexpectedly, Anying really had a full set of equipment. Finally, he placed an infrared night vision binoculars into Ye Chen's hands.

Ye Chen picked it up and took a glance in that direction, but he never imagined in his wildest dreams that what he saw was the same giant creature as this afternoon. Now, there were two of them.

Ye Chen carefully observed their belly area; he noticed that one of them indeed had some red coloring on its belly, which proved that this was where he had stabbed it with a knife back then.

It had recovered very quickly, and from its current state, it seemed it hadn't suffered much injury.

If that's the case, then Ye Chen's actions in the afternoon were indeed a mistake. If so, he could conclude with certainty that these creatures were here to claim his life.

"Did you see that? What exactly is it?"

"Anying, you were right. These creatures are not surviving here alone; they're in pairs, and the one from the afternoon is not dead at all. It's now fully recovered."

"What did you say? It's not dead? And now it's brought another one along. It's obvious now; they're here to seek revenge against us."

"Yes, that's probably the case. So, you guys need to be careful. I'll lock you inside the tent now, and I'll lure them over."

"Ye Chen, you really have to be careful. In the afternoon, you only faced one, but don't forget, now you're dealing with two."

"Yes, I know. Also, do you have any usable tools in here?"

"Yes, yes, I've brought some tools."

While speaking, Anying tossed some tools onto the ground.

Ye Chen just glanced down and casually picked a few that felt comfortable to him, then quickly ran towards that direction.

After hearing this, Ye Chen just nodded lightly and quickly crouched down, using the nearby bushes to temporarily hide himself.

Ye Chen saw in a haze that the two massive creatures, under the moonlight, seemed to indeed have stopped in their tracks.

The distance, however, wasn't very close, and given the current chaotic environment, he couldn't clearly tell what they were plotting.

Could it be they're scheming how to surround or attack him?

Upon thinking this, Ye Chen started to feel a bit anxious.

It's often said these beasts lack intelligence, but Ye Chen believed that every animal possesses some intelligence.

Their intelligence might be lower compared to humans, but in the end, it can still be compared to human intelligence.

"Hmm, what did you see?"

Ye Chen, not far from his tent, turned around and asked Anying.

"Not sure, now they've crouched down on the ground, and one beast seems to be checking something on the other beast's belly. I don't know what's happening."

"Oh, take a look, is it the one with the injured belly?"

"Yes, it's the one with the injured belly. Because the distance is too far and their fur is long, covering the wound, I can roughly see that area, but can't make out the specifics."

"Have they been maintaining this state all along?"

"Yes, that's their current state, but I think we should be cautious and wait to see their next move. Maybe they're just passing by and will leave soon."

"Wishful thinking, how could they possibly leave quickly from here? Once they've entered this environment, they won't easily give up; otherwise, they wouldn't have ventured here late at night."

In Ye Chen's mind, he believed that as long as they came, it would definitely be for revenge, so if they sought vengeance, Ye Chen would give these monsters no chances.

Since he needed to continue surviving on this deserted island for the coming days, he must take out these two beasts.
