After reaching the cave entrance, Ye Chen could clearly feel a breeze blowing out from inside. When he pushed with his hand, it seemed as though a stream of air was pushing against him.

If he didn't apply force, his hand would likely be pushed back out by the air pressure at the entrance.

"So, Ye Chen, what's the situation down there now?"

Anying and Lin Yaru watched anxiously. Ye Chen descended to the cave entrance and seemed to stop suddenly at the exit, so they didn't know exactly what was happening on his side.

"Nothing unusual. Just like you said, there's a pressure difference inside the cave. The pressure pushes all the mud outwards. I just tested it with my hand, and even if we want to go in, we'll need to apply some force to squeeze through this spot."

"Yes, exactly. This proves that there's definitely another space inside, and I can basically feel that when they hid people back then, it must have been in this spot. It's a natural prison, really advantageous for their hiding plan."

Ye Chen nodded. Since he had observed that there were no issues with the surrounding terrain, he applied just a bit of force, and his entire body seemed to be sucked into a tunnel. Quickly, he found himself inside the cave.

Once inside, Ye Chen discovered a surprisingly vast space. But, without lighting equipment, it was just a void of darkness. However, he sensed it should be a very large space.

"Ah."

Ye Chen called out softly but couldn't detect any distinct echoes, indicating that the surrounding walls were likely blocking the sound.

He stopped his footsteps and looked around again, finding that even though he was in a mixed environment, after a minute or two, he gradually began adapting to the light here.

It was indeed a cave, and as he listened closely, he heard the sound of dripping water inside.

Lastly, Ye Chen untied the rope around his waist.

"Okay, I'm now at the edge of the cave. It seems there's no problem here, but I can tell you there's indeed a huge space. Hurry up and come down, I'll wait for you here."

"Okay, got it."

Lin Yaru heard this and became very excited, as he had been in a gloomy state since they arrived these past few days.

Saying this, Lin Yaru closed his eyes slightly. Now that Ye Chen had pulled him in, there was nothing much to worry about. Eventually, they followed this direction and ran straight in.

Ye Chen exerted some force and pulled his entire body through the cave entrance. Once inside, he felt the environment around him suddenly quiet down.

Lin Yaru slowly opened his eyes, glancing around to find himself in Ye Chen's embrace, feeling a bit panicked, and took another look around. Her sensation was precisely the same as when Ye Chen had descended earlier.

The surroundings were so dark you couldn't see your hand in front of your face.

"Alright, you can now untie the rope, and have Anying come down quickly. Anying has the emergency flashlight. Once he's down, we can see everything clearly and understand what this is all about."

Hearing this, Lin Yaru nodded, realizing he had left the rope tied to him in his fluster earlier.

So, with Ye Chen's cooperation, he hastily untied the rope, which Anying then pulled up with a quick tug.

After waiting for about a minute or two, Anying once again descended into the cave, and now the three of them were successfully reunited here.

Since Anying had received professional training, he wasn't disturbed on the way down. Holding the rope firmly, he then turned on the flashlight.

The light swept around, revealing everything was wet, and the ground was full of uneven small rocks.

"Now that we're completely inside, you should fix the rope at the entrance to prevent accidents, allowing us to climb back up if needed."

Anying nodded obediently. Such a task was effortless for him, so he firmly tied the rope at the entrance.
