CHAPTER 254: CHAPTER 254: STANDING STRONG EVEN WITHOUT A PLAN

Clara Quinn had been lying in bed crying for several consecutive days, refusing to open the door no matter how much Amanda Warren knocked.

"Claire, come out, let’s talk this over."

"Leave me alone!"

A woman’s voice came from inside the room. Amanda stood at the door pacing anxiously. The child hadn’t eaten for days, and if this continued, she might truly be ruined. This was her only child; how could Amanda not care?

Tom Quinn came out of the room, watching Amanda wringing her hands in anxiety, he let out a cold snort: "Let her starve; if it weren’t for her, how would the company have gotten into this state?"

These past few days, the Quinn Group’s executive changes caught Tom off guard. He thought that after managing the Quinn Group for so many years, with his loyal underlings and the old employees, Sienna couldn’t possibly have dealt with them all at once.

But in just a few days, Sienna actually performed a complete overhaul of the Quinn Group’s top executives and placed her confidante, Chiara Thorne, into the company.

Under Tom’s leadership, those who weren’t fired by Sienna were marginalized, creating an uproar.

However, Tom didn’t think it was necessarily a bad thing. Instead, he saw it as an opportunity to get things done, but fundamentally all this turmoil was caused by Clara, the one who squandered family resources.

Amanda was already in tears, angrily arguing: "Stop saying that. Does Claire really want to see things turn out this way? As a father, you shouldn’t just blame her. Isn’t it because of that little vixen Sienna that we’re in this mess?"

Seeing Amanda protect Clara, Tom let out another cold snort: "Who raised her to be like this? It’s all thanks to you as her mother."

Tom left in anger, his phone vibrating constantly. Seeing the caller ID, it was the Quinn Group’s board members. He needed to meet with them; they were probably dissatisfied with Sienna as well.

Sienna stood in the office, looking out from the inside, with Chiara standing beside her.

Five days ago, they both resigned from the Yates Group and joined the Quinn Group the next day. Due to her shares, Sienna now had the most say in the company. Even though Tom was displeased, he had to vacate the president’s position without complaint.

That day, a comical scene unfolded. Tom was in his office reprimanding subordinates when Sienna and Chiara pushed the door open. Tom, utterly shocked, was thus "invited" out by Sienna.

Everyone in the Quinn Group knew that the president had been ousted and now, the person sitting in the chair was no other than the widely talked-about Sienna, the secret weapon from the Yates Group.

How did she suddenly become the president of the Quinn Group?

No one knew the reason; everything happened so suddenly.

Upon Sienna’s arrival, her first action was a major overhaul, firing or sidelining those lazy, nepotistic old employees, removing all their authority.

Things that seemed difficult to resolve were unbelievably dealt with by Sienna in a matter of days.

Under Sienna’s instruction, Chiara began training new recruits.

Now, virtually all key positions were occupied by Sienna’s people, leaving those loyal to Tom highly disgruntled.

"President Quinn, aren’t our actions a bit too drastic? This could backfire," Chiara expressed concern. In just three days, a massive reshuffling had taken place, and how could those who’ve worked here for years willingly accept it?

Now the company was in a state of panic, with heavy discontent even within the board of directors.

Sienna slowly turned her head, showing no fear, "We don’t have much time, I’m afraid they’ll come knocking today."

"Today? So soon?" Chiara wrinkled her attractive brows, surprised at how impatient these people were after only a few days. Yet seeing Sienna’s calm demeanor, it appeared she wasn’t worried at all.

"President Quinn, do you have a plan?"

"No!"

Chiara: "..."

Half a two-hour later, Chiara followed behind Sienna, both with expressions cold and determined, their postures erect, as they walked toward the meeting room in their professional attire.

Passersby turned to gaze, whispering about the two: "That’s our new president. She really acts decisively, but the board won’t let this go easily."

"Yeah, they say she fired the directors’ relatives. She’s really fearless like a newborn calf; she’s willing to do anything."

The onlookers had an air of anticipation; they doubted Sienna could navigate the board’s challenges unscathed.

Chiara leaned close to Sienna’s ear, whispering, "President Quinn, what should we do? We’re just putting on a strong front but weak inside."

The two had just arrived at the Quinn Group and had no network connections. Even with Felix Orwell and Axel Yates’s abilities, breaking into the Quinn Group was challenging, especially since Sienna had been targeting the Quinn Group all along. How could the board accept Sienna?

"We keep our cool!" Sienna replied nonchalantly, her gaze still unwavering.

Clara Quinn’s indifferent demeanor was far from that of someone without a backup plan. Chiara was silently surprised. After following Sienna for years, she should’ve realized that even without any solutions, Sienna would act confident. It’s the way of business; she would never show her vulnerable side.

Sienna pushed open the door and saw the room filled with people, with Tom sitting at the head of the table.

Sienna had anticipated that such a meeting lacked a leader. Although the board members were dissatisfied, none would stupidly oppose Sienna head-on.

After all, the company’s future path was still unpredictable.

These people were clever, and not one was a fool, but Tom wasn’t afraid. He could lead this charge. Seeing Sienna enter, he gave a sly, greasy smile, exuding incompetence.

"Well, President Quinn is here."

Tom’s contemptuous tone didn’t acknowledge Sienna as the president at all.

Sienna didn’t mind and cheerfully looked at Tom, who clearly had no intention of vacating his position. "Uncle, this position is no longer suitable for you to occupy."

Seated in his swivel chair, Tom gently turned and squinted his eyes, shining with cunning: "I’m not saying I won’t give you this position, but look at what you’ve done these past few days. Not a single thing has reassured me. Aren’t you afraid of losing support by firing those long-term employees? How will that make other employees feel? Your management style is inappropriate, and moreover, the heads of Sales and Marketing are all experienced. How could you demote them to deputy heads in one go?"
