I Have A Solo Mommy Plan, But Daddy Refuses to Let Go
Chapter 321: Cleaning Up the Mess
CHAPTER 321: CHAPTER 321: CLEANING UP THE MESS
Sienna Quinn glanced at him casually and said, "We’re all here to make money. I don’t think anyone genuinely wants to see the company go bankrupt."
"President Quinn, what are you talking about? Now President Yates can’t be found, and we are left with no options. At this rate, the company is doomed," another director, appearing worried, said, rubbing his hands anxiously.
Sienna’s fingers lightly tapped the table as she spoke, "We’re all here for profit. It’s what binds us together. If our goal is the same, then why make things difficult for me? Unless the heart and intentions are different from ours." As she said this, Sienna cast her eyes at the director who first spoke.
The latter’s pupils dilated, his expression dark and terrifying, "What nonsense are you spewing? Do you know what kind of rubbish you’re saying?"
"Of course I know. Isn’t it true, Chairman Leighton, that you’ve opened a new company outside? It involves the same industries as ours, and I’ve heard the clients we’ve lost in recent days all went to your new company."
Sienna had a slight smile at the corner of her mouth as she looked at Chairman Leighton.
Chairman Leighton was stunned upon hearing Sienna’s words.
"You... you stop slandering me!"
"Whether I’m slandering or it’s true, I think everyone here can find out for themselves." Sienna remained composed. These details were disclosed by Chiara Thorne before the meeting, revealing that Chairman Leighton and a few directors planned to hollow out the Yates Group.
Sienna crossed her arms, her eyes fixed on the remaining directors, who all looked displeased.
One of the directors said angrily, "Old Li, now I know why you aren’t worried at all. You’ve already planned your escape route, while we pale in comparison, without any backup plan."
With a cold snort, he flicked his sleeve and looked at Sienna, "President Quinn, you’ve contributed to the company for so many years, demonstrating your loyalty. The group will be managed by you now."
"Left in your hands."
The crowd echoed collectively, except for Chairman Leighton, who never expected them to actually allow Sienna to return.
"So, President Quinn, what do we do now?" someone asked anxiously.
Other board members also chimed in. The current situation of the company cannot be treated lightly, and seeing their posture, Sienna knew she must offer them a good suggestion.
Otherwise, not only would these seniors, but even the employees wouldn’t trust her.
Right now, Sienna was in a position where she had no choice but to forge ahead.
Danielle Carter, looking a bit worried, approached Sienna, who clapped her hands to indicate it was alright.
"Okay! Follow me!"
Sienna led everyone to Danielle Carter’s office.
On the office computer lay a collaboration plan with the famous L Group.
Although the plan wasn’t fully refined, Sienna had great confidence in it.
One must know that securing a deal with the L Group is tough.
If Sienna successfully collaborates with the L Group through this plan, it could undoubtedly save the Yates Group.
"Is this the collaboration plan with the L Group?"
"President Quinn, you’re really incredible, getting such a plan in hand."
...
All flattering words were showered upon Sienna at that moment without reservation.
But Danielle seemed to have discovered something. Wasn’t the L Group collaboration already secured by Orwell Group? How did it end up with the Yates Group? Could it be...
Danielle directed her gaze at Sienna, eyes sparkling with tears.
Sienna truly went above and beyond for the Yates Group, even transferring Orwell Group’s business to help the company overcome difficulties.
Taking out her phone, Danielle’s prominently jointed fingers tapped on the screen, sending a text to Axel Yates: [President Yates, President Quinn has returned to help the company, please call back upon seeing the message.]
Sienna spent the entire day handling Yates Group issues, stretching lazily as she looked at the half-compete contract on the computer screen. Seeing kindergarten dismissal time approaching, she asked Danielle to help pick Evan up, as there was an employee meeting ahead.
When Danielle brought Evan back, she took him to Sienna’s office.
"Wait here for President Quinn. She’ll come to find you once the meeting ends."
Evan nodded, watching Danielle exit.
Reflecting on how tired his mom was, Evan felt deeply sorry.
It seems his mom truly needed a man like Dad to protect and cherish her.
To avoid troubling Sienna, Evan stayed quietly in her office without wandering around.
His attention was drawn to the glowing computer on the desk, showing complex tables and industry analysis. Evan’s lips curved in a smile, his discerning eyes fixed on the screen.
In the midst of the meeting, Danielle followed Sienna’s instructions and returned to the office to fetch the half-completed contract.
Upon opening the office door, she found Evan messing with the computer, his smooth movements and serious expression giving the illusion of being a leader, not like a child.
"Evan, what are you doing?" Danielle gasped, fearing Evan might have disrupted Sienna’s well-crafted plan.
She rushed over and lifted Evan from the high chair.
"Sister Danielle!" Evan exclaimed proudly, looking up with a beaming face. Seeing this little treasure, Danielle wondered?
A thought emerged in Danielle’s mind, prompting her to stride to the computer, harboring hope in her heart.
Upon seeing the computer’s modified plan, her eyes widened, staring at the screen, incredulous at Evan’s capability for his age.
The plan was not only refined but proposed a new strategy?
Danielle loved Sienna’s little bundle dearly. Whether in intelligence or appearance, Evan was just like Stephen.
Indeed, excellent individuals produce equally excellent offspring.
"Evan, you’re so amazing, able to handle such a complex plan." Danielle couldn’t resist showing a thumbs-up to Evan. Her joy and admiration for Evan were palpable.
Besides praising Evan, she continually ruffled his little head.
Reluctantly, Evan kept backing away, then disdainfully said, "I don’t think I’m amazing. I just wanted to ease Mom’s burden and make her less tired."
"Alright, I’ll return this document to President Quinn right away."
With these words, Danielle hurriedly delivered the revised document, allowing the meeting to proceed smoothly.
When the meeting was over, it was already late.
Sienna opened the office door, seeing her baby son sound asleep there. She walked over and leaned in to gently kiss his smooth forehead by his ear.
