CHAPTER 354: CHAPTER 354: YOU MIGHT NOT GET MARRIED!

At this moment, Landon Lawson came downstairs.

His face was cold, as arrogant as a peacock.

His complexion was much better than when I last saw him, but his gaunt face made his features more defined, giving him even more of a masculine charm.

Sienna Quinn secretly pinched herself, instructing herself not to think about such trivial matters.

Just as she was hesitating on how to speak, Axel Yates spoke first, "President Lawson, long time no see!"

Landon Lawson looked at Sienna and Axel with contempt, were they... really together?

But hadn’t he clearly told Sienna not to be with him?

"Why are you two together?"

"Why can’t we be together?" Axel chuckled mockingly, his eyes full of glee.

"Don’t forget that before you..." Landon paused at this point, intentionally turned his head to glance at the child, considering that there were things still unknown to him.

Evan Quinn only knew that Landon Lawson was injured but didn’t know who hurt him.

Although Evan was mature for his age, he was still a child. It’s best not to expose him to adult deceptions and machinations too early.

Seeing Landon mention the past, Sienna fearfully spoke out, "That matter was a misunderstanding, Axel and I have talked it over."

"Talked it over? You really have a big heart."

His gaze full of sarcasm fiercely stabbed at Sienna’s heart. Axel walked smugly towards Landon Lawson.

"Seeing that President Lawson is doing fine, I am relieved."

"Thank you for your concern, President Yates. I am doing well, and I believe my hand will heal soon, and I’ll quickly revive the Lawson Group. Those little troublemakers who acted up while I was away, I will patiently deal with them."

The barbed exchange between Axel and Landon was an ordeal for Sienna.

A bitter taste filled Sienna’s mouth. She held Evan’s hand and told Landon, "Today I must take Evan back."

Landon kept his face cold. He had long known that Evan would eventually be taken away. However, he couldn’t accept Axel coming with Sienna.

Were they trying to mock him?

Axel’s smile widened, as he hadn’t yet achieved his goal and wasn’t willing to give up.

"Please understand, President Lawson, as soon we three will be living together."

Sienna felt complex emotions; she knew Axel’s intentions for coming weren’t pure. But she was the one who chose to be with him, so she had to endure the consequences alone.

To achieve her goals, such things are inevitable. But when these words were spoken in front of Landon, her heart still ached.

She hoped Landon wouldn’t misunderstand.

Feeling at a loss, she just wanted to escape the explosive atmosphere between the two men.

Yet, Landon fixed his gaze on Sienna.

With a cold glance, he asked, "What’s going on? Why did he say you will be living together?"

Just as he finished speaking, Axel abruptly grabbed Sienna’s hand, a hint of mockery on his lips.

"Do we really need to explain our affairs to you?"

"Fine, very fine." Landon said coldly, yet his gaze was fixed on their joined hands. He had never thought that after Sienna left him, she would be with Axel. Was this her way of repaying him?

What a heartless woman.

"President Lawson, won’t you congratulate us?" Axel grinned sinisterly, squeezing Sienna’s palm with increasing pressure.

Sienna endured the pain, cold sweat beading on her forehead, biting her lip to stifle any cries of pain.

Seeing Axel’s triumphant demeanor, Landon’s lips curled into a perfect smile, "Oh? Then congratulations, congratulations on becoming a stepfather, and for successfully finding a new home."

Landon laughed carefreely at Sienna and Axel.

Sienna was about to leave with Evan when Evan suddenly shook off Sienna’s hand.

"Mommy, what’s going on here?" Despite being small, he was as sharp as any adult.

In just a few minutes, he had already seen everything clearly.

When did his mommy start being with Uncle Axel?

"I’ll explain when we get back," Sienna said as she picked up the soft little body of her child, filling her heart with warmth.

Unseen by anyone else, Sienna’s fingers wrote words into her child’s palm.

Gradually, Evan’s confused eyes became clear. Pretending to struggle reluctantly, he pleaded, "Mommy, can I stay a few more days with Daddy?"

Sienna’s harsh gaze shot towards Evan, but she calmed her tone, "You’ve been away from school for so long, we must go home and prepare."

"But Mommy, with my intelligence, what’s there to prepare?" Evan persistently questioned, showing no intention of leaving.

"Evan Quinn!" Sienna glared to make him stop asking.

Axel stared coldly at the child in Sienna’s arms, a mocking smile on his face; earlier he thought this child was intelligent, but now he saw he was just a five-year-old not worth considering.

Axel’s look was clear to both Evan and Sienna. They exchanged glances.

Reluctantly, Evan stared at Landon, his eyes full of attachment, but he still followed Sienna and left.

Sienna was just about to leave with Evan when Landon suddenly said, "Aren’t you going to pack Chloe’s things?"

"What’s there to pack? Isn’t everything at my home?" Axel mocked as he looked at Landon.

Before anyone could speak, Evan couldn’t hold back and said, "It’s none of your business, I want to take the game console Daddy bought me."

Finally, Evan looked at Sienna and slowly spoke.

Sienna paused, then nodded slowly, "Alright, I’ll go with you to pack."

"Mommy, pack your things too." Evan said.

Seeing his son’s request, Sienna nodded.

The two turned and went upstairs.

Landon also prepared to head upstairs; he really had nothing more to say to Axel Yates.

"President Lawson!" Axel exaggerated his smile, "I wonder if in the future I will have the honor to invite you to our wedding?"

Landon’s back stiffened, he slowly turned around, "Sure, you take over Sienna, consider it helping me clean up, I must personally go and wish you well. Don’t forget to send me an invitation, I’ll make sure to prepare a big gift."

Axel laughed heartily, "As expected of President Lawson, you’re truly generous."
