I Have A Solo Mommy Plan, But Daddy Refuses to Let Go
Chapter 375: Would Never Choose You
CHAPTER 375: CHAPTER 375: WOULD NEVER CHOOSE YOU
Birthday Party.
"Sienna darling."
Chiara Thorne saw Sienna Quinn coming over and walked up with a big smile, hugging her with an uncontrollable grin.
Sienna Quinn reached out her little hand with a big smile and patted Chiara Thorne’s shoulder, "Happy birthday to you."
The little child beside Sienna smiled sweetly at Chiara Thorne and said, "Aunt Chiara, Chloe wishes you a happy birthday, good health, growing more beautiful, and staying young forever."
This cute child’s voice completely stirred Chiara Thorne’s motherly heart, as she waved her little hand with a big smile, letting go of Sienna and squatting down to pick up the soft little body, "Come here and let Aunt Chiara adore you. Every time I see you, I wish I could have one right away."
"You want a baby? Find a boyfriend first."
A mocking voice rang out.
Hearing this familiar tone, everyone turned their heads to see Sean Carter walking towards them with a faint smirk on his lips.
Chiara Thorne rolled her eyes at Sean with some displeasure, "You talk like you have a girlfriend. Aren’t you also a single dog, just like me, and still dare to laugh at me here."
Being called out by Chiara, Sean’s lips twitched, and he rolled his eyes fiercely, dissatisfied, "I’m not in a hurry to have kids now..."
"Talking nonsense again, you’re more sympathetic to Evan than anyone." Chiara Thorne rolled her eyes and retorted to Sean, somewhat unconvinced.
Sean’s expression stiffened, clearly not a match for Chiara’s verbal skills.
Evan Quinn stood aside, smiling brightly at the two, "Honestly, I think you’re quite suitable for each other. If you really can’t find anyone else in the future, why not just be together? After all, you both love me."
Evan said with a bright smile, presenting such a cute demeanor that made everyone envious.
After Evan finished speaking, Sean and Chiara exchanged a glance, both blushing intensely, quickly averting their eyes from each other.
Seeing this, Sienna Quinn picked up Evan in her arms and playfully pinched his little nose.
Evan pouted defiantly, "It is what it is, Mommy, you’re still scolding me."
Seeing Evan’s aggrieved look, Felix Orwell smiled brightly, "Why scold the kid? It’s clearly the truth."
"I told you, Uncle Felix and I think the same," Evan playfully echoed, blinking cutely, which made Felix dotingly smitten.
"Alright, alright, let’s stop talking and start eating." Sean said a bit awkwardly.
Chiara also nodded repeatedly, teasingly addressing everyone, "Stop joking about the two of us. Even if all the men in the world die out, I wouldn’t choose to be with him."
Seeing Chiara’s disdainful manner, Sean huffed twice, "I’ve made up my mind to make you fall for me."
As a man’s pride was challenged in that moment, Sean spoke with some defiance.
Chiara froze for a moment, and her originally adorable face instantly turned red.
"Stop joking around."
"Who’s joking?"
Sean responded seriously.
Seeing the two bantering, Sienna and Felix exchanged a knowing smile.
Evan chimed in with a bright smile, "See, I told you they suit each other, but you didn’t believe me."
"Alright, alright, you know everything."
After the jokes, the music suddenly began to play, and everyone turned their gaze to Chiara.
Chiara was wearing a red strapless dress, her already adorable and playful face was glowing, even Sean couldn’t help but stare.
Sienna and Felix moved closer to Sean and whispered, "Do you think Chiara is beautiful?"
"She’s...not bad."
Sean answered seriously, not noticing the strange looks from the two beside him.
Felix and Sienna exchanged a glance, and Felix lightly bumped Sean’s shoulder, jokingly said, "I actually think Evan was right, you two could give it a try."
Sean looked at Felix, complaining with a bitter smile, "Young President Orwell, stop joking about us."
"Who’s joking? I’m serious."
Felix looked at Sean earnestly.
Sienna teasingly added, "I honestly think it’s worth a try. You’re both single, and if it doesn’t work out, you can break up."
Sean looked at Sienna in surprise, a flicker of faint disappointment passing through his eyes, reflected in a self-deprecating smile.
When he looked up again, the melancholy faded.
"Why are you joking too?"
Sienna looked at Sean seriously, with no hint of joking, "You’ve been single for so long, if you don’t find a girlfriend soon, I’m going to suspect you like men."
Felix feigned fear, shielding his chest with a wary look at Sean.
"You’ve never had a girlfriend all these years, don’t tell me you like me?"
"Young President Orwell!"
Sean stared blankly at Felix, watching his teasing eyes, and Felix burst into laughter, vigorously patting Sean’s shoulder, "Don’t be so polite, you’ve worked with Chiara for so many years, surely you have some feelings for her?"
"I...I’m really not being polite."
Seeing Chiara’s utterly helpless look, Felix glanced at Sienna, gently shaking his head. Apparently, they guessed wrong.
"But didn’t you just say you wanted to pursue her?" Felix asked, still unconvinced.
Sean shook his head lightly.
"That was just impulsive talk."
Why couldn’t he be the one? Why would she choose nobody even if all the men in the world vanished?
The thought of that bratty girl’s words made Sean angry.
"Why not give it a try? Honestly, I’d feel indignant too."
Felix said with a mischievous smile.
Sienna helplessly cradled her forehead, it seemed Felix’s mischievous side was surfacing again...
Uncertain if Sean would fall for the trap.
Felix raised a playful brow, staring at Sean with interest.
He couldn’t believe Sean could really withstand his provocation.
Sean sat there, face somber, staring blankly at Chiara’s playful face.
