In reality, the over three years of accumulated trial time were completely used up, and they still weren’t enough to advance the timeline of the World of Gods to her ten thousandth year.

Her diligent studies were aimed at a higher starting point during the divine position exam, which would benefit her future promotions.

But no matter how hard she studied, progress in the trial of the World of Gods remained slow.

This was determined by the difference in time.

One hour in the real world equated to one year in the World of Gods; with three hours of trial time each day, she could only live through three years in the World of Gods.

The Divine Race in the World of Gods generally starts to decline after about five hundred thousand years due to waning divine power.

If she were to convert all the outputs of her divine body at the age of five hundred thousand, in reality, it would take her over four hundred and fifty years to advance the timeline of the World of Gods past that age.

This period was too long, and it was upon realizing this that Mu Ying found the output of the Third Trial World was likely irrelevant before achieving godhood.

Before becoming a god, the affinities for natural laws and the Law of Destiny that her Divine Race body could bring her could no longer be considered.

Her previous plans were unlikely to pan out as expected and had to be greatly discounted. The only thing left that could increase her affinity was the Eight-colored Fruit from the Second Trial World.

To increase her Law Contribution for all five laws to 100% required 1,990,000 assignable contribution points.

One point of Source Power was equivalent to one assignable contribution point.

She would need twenty-eight or twenty-nine years to earn 1,990,000.

Plus, the time spent on comprehending laws and increasing her Law Control would be even longer.

After all, it took her three years to improve her 90% Affinity and 30% control of the natural laws to their current levels; to raise them to 100%, she would need at least a decade as a baseline, and that was assuming each comprehension would be of the same standard.

The affinity for other laws was even less than for natural laws and would take even longer.

Wouldn’t it take her hundreds of years to ignite the Divine Fire at this rate?

That long, how could she compete with others who focused on a single path? Unless she gave up on igniting the Divine Fire with multiple laws.

Source Power, it was still Source Power that was earned too slowly.

Only the Source Power earned from trial worlds could be counted as assignable contribution points.

The Square World is now the main force, and the World of Gods can’t help much in the short term.

That leaves the Emerald World.

Initially, to slow down the passage of time in the Emerald World and not miss out on her life as a witch with her friends, she modified the world’s laws after obtaining the World Book.

From then on, time in the Emerald World was separated from the other Trial Worlds. While she was undergoing trials in the World of Gods, time in the Square World continued to pass, but time in the Emerald World stood still.

Although the Emerald World is more of a material transformation-type Trial World, once she got hold of the World Book, it could produce ten thousand Source Power every year.

One hour in reality equals one week in the Emerald World.

Three hours of trials each day, and in one year in reality, twenty-one years would pass in the Emerald World, which means 210,000 Source Power.

This Source Power output is several times more than the Square World’s.

But previously, because she was always pushing forward the timeline in the World of Gods, she visited the Emerald World less frequently, and the timeline did not progress much there, so there wasn’t much Source Power output naturally.

Now that she was short on Source Power, she naturally turned her attention here.

Should she modify the world laws of the Emerald World again to allow its time to pass synchronously?

After she earned all the Source Power needed to increase her Law Contribution, or even after igniting the Divine Fire, she could invest in the World of Gods, which was more suited for gods besides just providing Source Power.

In this manner, advancing the timelines of the Square World and the Emerald World in sync, in one year of reality, the Square World could produce 69,350 points of Source Power, and the Emerald World could produce 210,000 points. Combined, that’s 279,350 points of Source Power a year.

At this rate, it would take only seven years to save up 1.99 million assignable Contribution Points.

And she still had three years’ worth of unspent trial time from before. Didn’t this mean that she only needed to save another four years of trial time to gather enough assignable Contribution Points to increase her Contribution?

This timeframe was less than half of what she had previously estimated. Mu Ying was confident enough to accumulate Contribution Points ahead of others. As for control, it was up to individual capability.

With such adjustments, Mu Ying finally felt secure.

Twisting the parchment, she watched the flames consume it. The arrangements concerning her ascension to godhood were better kept in memory rather than leaving them on paper.
