"PAPA, the green lights aren’t showing up!"

Wonyoung’s heart hurt while looking at Yun Yuhyun’s pouty face.

Having said that, he still thought his son looked cute— especially since baby looked so adorable while wearing thick layers of clothes that made him look smaller. The puffy jacket and the ear muffs were cute as heck on Yun Yuhyun.

My child is still lovable even when whining.

"Yuhyun-ah, your daddy already told you that you might not catch the aurora during your stay, right?" Wonyoung asked gently. He didn’t want Yun Yuhyun to be sad, but he also wanted his son to face reality. "So, manage your expectations."

"But I wanna see the sky turn green, Papa."

"Why do you want to see aurora so bad, Yuhyun-ah?"

"Because it looks pretty on the screen! Maybe it’s prettier in person."

"Oh, so you want to see it because it’s pretty?"

"Yes, Papa."

Aigoo.

"Yuhyun-ah, it’s true that the aurora is pretty. But you know what’s prettier?"

Yun Yuhyun shook his head. "What’s prettier than the green lights, Papa?"

"Your daddy," Wonyoung said bluntly. Yes, he was being for real 100%. "If I were you, I’d just stare at your daddy’s face all day."

Wonyoung heard an ’expensive’ laugh in the background, making him shy.

Oh, I didn’t know Sunbae-nim was listening.

Only Yun Yuhyun’s cute face occupied the screen, so he thought Yun Dujun had left the room to give them privacy.

"You’re right, Papa."

Ahem.

"Daddy is prettier than the green lights."

"Right? So, don’t be disappointed, Yuhyun-ah. Plus, didn’t your daddy promise you that he’d bring you to Santa’s village?"

Yun Yuhyun gasped as if he just remembered that, and then the child looked over his shoulder. "Daddy, I want to go to Santa’s house!"

Yun Dujun’s voice was then heard from the background clearly.

"Ask Yunchae if she wants to go with us. Their family has a different schedule today."

Oh, right.

Wonyoung remembered that Yun Dujun’s family was also there.

"Okay, Daddy. I’ll ask Yunchae Noona."

Yun Yuhyun then turned to the screen again.

"Papa, I’m going to look for Yunchae Noona. I’ll call you again later. Bye-bye!"

Wonyoung smiled and nodded. "Have fun, baby. See you later."

He thought it was the end of the video call when Yun Yuhyun ran out of the door.

But, of course, he was wrong.

Yun Dujun’s handsome face filled the screen once again.

"Hoobae-nim, it seems like we need to talk once I return to Korea."

"Huh?"

"The question you asked earlier..."

Oh.

Wonyoung blushed when he remembered that he had asked Yun Dujun earlier if he liked him.

"It’s something I should answer in person. So, can you wait for me a bit?"

"Of course, Sunbae-nim," Wonyoung said while nodding, acting calm even though he was already doing a victory dance in his head. "I’ll wait for you."

"BAEKYA, I’m sorry I can’t drop you off at the academy today," Wonyoung said, squatting down to meet An Baekya’s eye level. "I have a meeting with your abeoji’s boss and my potential employers. They are all busy people, so I can’t be late."

"It’s okay, Appa," An Baekya assured him. "Mr. George will accompany me today."

Yes, the chief of staff himself would be An Baekya’s guardian.

Aunt Rosa and Gunil accompanied Yun Yuhyun to Finland. The most trustworthy staff left in the house is Mr. George, so Dujun Sunbae-nim asked him to be An Baekya’s company while I’m busy.

"You’re going to meet new friends today, Baekya," Wonyoung said while gently squeezing An Baekya’s shoulders as a form of encouragement. "I hope you get along well with them."

"Don’t worry, Appa," An Baekya assured him. "I’ll be nice to my new classmates."

Usually, actor agencies in South Korea didn’t have big buildings like idol agencies did.

The top actor agencies in their country only had small or medium-sized buildings they called HQ.

To be fair, actor agencies don’t need a recording or dancing studio like idol agencies do.

However, Hanbyeol Entertainment was different.

They own a huge building with several floors despite having a small (yet elite) pool of actors and actresses. It’s as if Daepyonim is flexing the fact that he’s a chaebol.

"We’re here— I’m getting more nervous now."

Wonyoung nodded in agreement with Director Kang Dusik.

Writer Shin Yuna also nodded.

The three of them were headed to Spencer Choi’s office while being accompanied by Olivia Cha— Spencer Choi’s secretary.

Apparently, in this company, employees use English names.

Anyway, since Hanbyeol Entertainment was a safe place, Han Myung didn’t accompany Wonyoung there.

I’m not a kid who needs protection 24/7.

"Welcome, everyone."

Wonyoung had the urge to close his eyes because of Spencer Choi’s blinding visuals.

He looks like an actor himself, and he has this aura around him that screams ’money.’

"CEO Choi, it’s a pleasure to finally meet you in person."

"Ah, no need to be too formal, Director Kang. You can just call me by my name."

After the exchange of greetings and introductions, Wonyoung found himself in a fancy conference room.

Now the meeting is starting.

"Mr. Spencer, I’ll get straight to the point," Kang Dusik said after a small talk. "Are you really going to invest in our project if we cast Wonyoung-ssi?"

"You got it wrong, Director Kang," Spencer Choi said while smiling. "I’m investing because Wonyoung-ssi passed the audition. I don’t want people to think that Wonyoung-ssi only got the role because I invested."

Oh.

Wonyoung was touched by Spencer Choi’s thoughtfulness.

"Ah, you’re right. I misspoke," Director Kang Dusik said. "Then, Mr. Spencer, may I know why you’re willing to invest in Wonyoung-ssi’s first drama? It’s already not normal for a management company to invest in their artist’s project, unless they have an agreement to cast their artist in exchange for investment. So, I’m curious as to why you’re willing to do this for someone who’s not even a part of your company, sir."

That actually made Wonyoung nervous.

I hope they don’t think Daepyonim is my sponsor or something...

"It’s actually simple— I’m doing my best to seduce Wonyoung-ssi to join my agency," Spencer Choi said, smiling. "I don’t know if you’re already aware, but Wonyoung-ssi is actually Yun Dujun-ssi’s close hoobae."

Director Kang Dusik nodded. "Ah, yes. Writer Shin already mentioned that to me."

"I saw how close Wonyoung-ssi and Actor Yun were when I visited the set of Director Gong’s current project," Writer Shin Yuna said. "Actor Yun seems to care about Wonyoung-ssi a lot."

"Yes, Dujun-ssi really cares about Wonyoung-ssi. After all, Dujun-ssi looks up at Wonyoung-ssi as a fellow actor," Spencer Choi said proudly. "Dujun-ssi often says how good of an actor Wonyoung-ssi."

Aigoo.

Now Wonyoung couldn’t tell if Spencer Choi was exaggerating or what.

I mean, Dujun Sunbae-nim often tells me that he likes my acting. But does he say the same thing about me to other people?

"Actor Yun Dujun-ssi isn’t wrong," Director Kang Dusik said while nodding. "I was blown away by Wonyoung-ssi’s acting. That’s why I’m willing to risk it all just to cast me. This is my first project since I established my own production company. Hence, I need funds for my project. Mr. Spencer, I’m going to ask again: are you really going to invest in our drama?"

"Yes," Spencer Choi said, smiling. "I’ll do anything to help Wonyoung-ssi launch his career as an actor."

Aigoo.

That got Wonyoung thinking.

Should I sign with Hanbyeol Entertainment if Mr. Spencer offers me a contract?

"I have one more question, Mr. Spencer. No, it’s actually more of a request."

"What is it, Director Kang?"

"Can I hide behind your name?" Director Kang Dusik asked carefully. "As you may already know, the people behind Kim Seojun-ssi are powerful and influential in the industry. If they want, they can blacklist me from the industry and destroy my little production company. I want to avoid that as much as possible."

"Sure. Why not?" Spencer Choi shrugged nonchalantly. "I’m curious to know if I’ll get blacklisted for helping you."

Wonyoung thought Spencer Choi was being reckless.

Daepyonim is so happy-go-lucky. I wonder how he became friends with Dujun Sunbae-nim when Sunbae-nim is such a reserved person.

"I don’t think even those investors have enough power to do that to you, Mr. Spencer," Director Kang Dusik said, tilting his head to one side and wondering what Spencer Choi was talking about. "Everyone knows how much the chairman of Hosung Group treasures you. So, going against you is like going against Hosung Group. I don’t think the investors would risk it all just for Kim Seojun-ssi."

Really?

Wonyoung was wondering if Spencer Choi was really that powerful when he remembered what Yun Dujun had said to him before.

Chaebols are on a different level than ordinary wealthy families.

An Baekya almost rolled his eyes by how cringe Park Soojung was.

Well, he’s just as annoying in my past timeline.

However, An Baekya would admit one thing.

Something that was just as cringe as how Park Soojung introduced himself.
