I Really Am A Villain
Chapter 1635 - The Luo God-Clan Must Die
The others couldn’t see clearly, but the Luo God-Clan’s saintess, Luo Yanyu, and Miao Ruyin could see everything perfectly.
The Leviathan Prince was born with spatial powers. When he used killing techniques empowered by space itself, it was nearly impossible for ordinary people to resist, especially now that he had already stepped into the Saint Sovereign Realm.
Do not underestimate this Leviathan Prince. Though he was only at the first level of the Saint Sovereign Realm, he was unquestionably among the top of the younger generation. The Leviathan Race had lived in the Dragon Sea for generations, and he was their sole heir. Naturally, countless resources had been poured into him, raising him with utmost effort.
With the power of a Saint Sovereign combined with the might of the Leviathan bloodline, resistance was futile. Of course, part of the reason was that the Crown Prince had underestimated his opponent, but more than that, it was simply because the other side was too strong.
“What are you trying to do?!” The Leviathan Prince, caught in Xu Zimo’s grip, shouted while struggling desperately.
“So noisy.” Xu Zimo glanced at him.
He slapped him directly. With a loud crack, the Crown Prince’s teeth and mouth twisted into a mess of shattered flesh. Though he did not die, he could no longer make a sound.
“Your realm is acceptable, but the Leviathan Race has managed to raise a complete waste as their crown prince,” Xu Zimo said calmly.
“What exactly are you trying to do?” Luo Yanyu frowned. At this point, even a fool could see it, Xu Zimo wasn’t here just to join the alliance.
“Oh right, I actually had something to say, but you all interrupted me earlier and I almost forgot,” Xu Zimo replied.
“Whatever it is, just say it. But release the Leviathan Prince first,” Miao Ruyin said.
“No rush.” Xu Zimo grinned.
“I want to ask everyone here, including all the people of Alchemy God City, what kind of death you prefer. You see, I’m a very... democratic person. You’ve established this little alliance, trying to crush me with public opinion. Fine. I’ll play along. Everyone can choose their own way to die.”
The moment he said this, everyone present immediately stood up.
Miao Ruyin asked, “Who exactly are you?”
“Xu Zimo of the True Martial Sacred Ground. My mission is to destroy Alchemy God City and the Luo God-Clan,” Xu Zimo answered bluntly.
“Just you alone?” Luo Yanyu asked.
“One person is enough,” he said indifferently.
“How bold.” Luo Yanyu gave a cold snort. “If your sect’s Infinite Dao ancestors had come in person, we might fear them. But you alone? Today you will remain here.”
She was about to strike, but Miao Ruyin stopped her.
“Ruyin greets Young Master Xu,” she said. “When I first arrived in the Absolute God Heaven, I already heard of Young Master Xu’s name.”
“What name of mine?” Xu Zimo asked with interest.
In that battle in the Absolute God Heaven, the ones who truly rose to fame were the True Martial Progenitor and the Infinite Dao cultivators of the True Martial Sacred Ground. Those in the Three-Selves stage were the main fighting force, while Dao Fruit stage cultivators supported from behind. Someone like him, merely at the peak of the Saint Sovereign Realm, had only played a minor role. Xu Zimo didn’t think he had gained much fame.
But Miao Ruyin smiled. “Young Master Xu is wrong. I heard you once cut down billions with a single sword strike, destroying the Ancient Dragon God-Empire. You also stood alone against fifty thousand Saints, forcing the Yue God-Clan to retreat. I’ve also heard that you possess the ten God-Scriptures, each cultivated to mastery. How could such deeds go unnoticed?”
Xu Zimo raised an eyebrow. He didn’t expect her to know so much. She must have investigated the True Martial Sacred Ground. She likely guessed that after the True Martial Progenitor’s assault on the heavens, the sect would soon welcome a new master, and Xu Zimo was the most suitable choice.
Because at present, there was no way he could participate in slaying the heavens, he was far too weak.
“Seems you’re not entirely a fool,” Xu Zimo said calmly.
“Does Young Master Xu have any intention of going up there?” Miao Ruyin asked with a soft smile.
By “up there,” she was referring to the Upper Heavens, the land where the Myriad Immortal Nation resided.
“Of course,” Xu Zimo replied.
“Then have you considered what will happen to the True Martial Sacred Ground after the saints who went to slay the heavens depart? And what will become of you yourself?” she asked.
“I’ve heard that Young Master Xu has offended quite a few people, including major powers like the Heavenly Court,” Miao Ruyin added.
“What are you trying to say?” Xu Zimo asked.
“Join our Myriad Immortal Nation. I can’t promise everything, but protecting you would be no issue,” she said confidently.
This woman certainly had ambition, she even dared to try recruiting Xu Zimo outright.
“You think too simply,” Xu Zimo said. “You know one thing but not the other. I don’t need your Myriad Immortal Nation. The True Martial Sacred Ground has its own fate. It has always been this way. Natural selection, those who survive are those who are worthy.”
“You’re even more ruthless than I imagined. You’d let the True Martial Sacred Ground live or die on its own? Well, it makes sense. Those in power are always heartless,” Miao Ruyin said with a faint smile.
“You’re wrong. It’s not ruthlessness. Your Myriad Immortal Nation simply isn’t qualified to recruit me. If I wish to live, unless the damn heavens themselves intervene, neither the Heavenly Court nor anyone else can threaten me.”
Xu Zimo wasn’t bragging. He held the power left behind by the previous Infernal Lord. If he were pushed far enough, even immortals or progenitors could be beaten into dust. But that power diminished with each use, so he reserved it for truly critical moments.
The only true threat to him was the heavens themselves. But as long as he didn’t attempt to slay the heavens, the heavens could not act against him. The world had its rules, even the heavens couldn’t ignore everything.
It was like ancient times. The emperor ruled everything, yet even he had to abide by the edicts of rulership. If he acted without restraint, rebellions would break out, dynasties would crumble, and the people would suffer. The Great Dao followed the same logic.
If you didn’t attempt to slay the heavens, the heavens had no right to take action. Otherwise, everyone in the world would be forced to worship the Dao, and any deviation would be slaughtered. That would plunge the world into chaos and hasten the Dao’s collapse.
Empires were not eternal. Humans had birth, aging, sickness, and death. Worlds and planets also had lifespans. In the vast universe, the destruction of a world was not rare.
Hearing Xu Zimo’s domineering words, Miao Ruyin only chuckled softly. She didn’t believe him, she simply thought it was the arrogance of youth. Someone who had never witnessed the vastness of the upper realms. True Martial Sacred Ground ruled the Absolute God Heaven, so of course he feared nothing.
“Then I’ll be direct,” Miao Ruyin said. “How about sparing Alchemy God City?”
“I enjoy killing, yes, but if someone has nothing to do with me, I don’t kill them for no reason,” Xu Zimo replied.
“Two conditions. The Luo God-Clan must die. The members of the alliance must also die.”
