The moment Xu Zimo’s words fell, the entire hall erupted. Everyone present was part of the alliance.

“Is there really no room for compromise?” Miao Ruyin asked.

“What qualifications do you have to mediate anything?” Xu Zimo countered. “If your Myriad Immortal Nation were in the Absolute God Heaven, do you believe the True Martial Sacred Ground couldn’t wipe you out if we acted in full force?”

“I won’t deny the strength of your sect, especially your True Martial Progenitor. Even if he ascended to the upper realms, he would still be a figure who shakes the world. But he must ultimately face the heavens,” she continued. “Since the ancient age when gods sought the Dao, has any Heaven-Slayer returned alive?”

Miao Ruyin shook her head.

“In that case, there’s nothing more to say.” She looked around at the crowd and said, “Everyone, your fate depends on yourselves.”

“You’re not helping us, Myriad Immortal Nation?” someone asked in shock.

“The Myriad Immortal Nation resides in the upper realm. I fear our hearts wish to help, but our strength cannot reach this domain,” Miao Ruyin replied.

“But you’re the one who organized this alliance meeting!” someone said foolishly.

“Who told you I organized it?” Miao Ruyin frowned. “It was the Leviathan Prince and the Luo Saintess who planned it. I merely came as a guest.”

Everyone was stunned.

There was such a thing?

Truthfully, even Miao Ruyin felt helpless. Her original plan was to use public opinion and pressure to gain concessions, however slight the chance. She didn’t expect the True Martial Sacred Ground to ignore common sense.

Everyone assumed they would arrive in a grand procession of saints, shaking the sky. Yet they sent only Xu Zimo, who infiltrated quietly and heard their entire plan.

In truth, they had overestimated themselves. After the battle in the Great Beyond, the so-called Eight God-Clans were families only in name. They no longer had the strength to oppose the True Martial Sacred Ground.

Xu Zimo alone was enough, at least in a place where no Infinite Dao cultivators were present.

But he wasn’t reckless. When he was under the Alchemy Tower earlier, he had already instructed Paimon to send word back to the Leviathan Race. The Luo God-Clan was in decline, but the Leviathan Race had lived long in the Dragon Sea, there might well be an Infinite Dao cultivator among them. Xu Zimo chose caution.

“Everyone, let’s go to hell together.”

Xu Zimo swung the Shadow Tyrant in his hand. Power burst out, strong enough to destroy all things.

“Everyone, stop him together!” someone shouted.

“He’s alone. If we kill him, we can flee to the ends of the earth. The True Martial Sacred Ground won’t be able to find us.”

In the face of death, fear evaporated. Many people went mad from desperation and attacked.

Everyone who could enter the Alchemy Tower had some ability. Dozens of Grand Emperors unleashed their might, imperial pressure roaring like a violent storm as countless techniques crashed toward Xu Zimo.

From the outside, Alchemy God City, which had been peaceful moments ago, was shaken awake by a massive explosion. Everyone looked up in shock.

From the direction of the Alchemy Tower, a heaven-cleaving blade aura shot into the sky, shattering the entire tower. Countless bodies were thrown out.

Only a handful escaped with their lives, such as the Luo God-Clan’s saintess and Miao Ruyin of the Myriad Immortal Nation.

“He’s terrifying,” Miao Ruyin said, face solemn. In a single exchange, every Grand Emperor had been slain by that one strike, no true fate, no soul, nothing left behind.

Xu Zimo stepped calmly from the ruins, dust swirling around him. Beneath his feet, Zhuo Anrong, the man who had spoken to him earlier, was covered in blood, struggling.

“Go. I’ll spare your life.”

Xu Zimo raised his blade and swept his gaze over the city. His voice rumbled through Alchemy God City like thunder exploding across the sky.

“I’ll give fifteen minutes of time. Anyone who is not part of the alliance or the Eight God-Clans may leave. When the time out, Alchemy God City will no longer exist.”

The entire city trembled. Everyone understood now, True Martial Sacred Ground had come to wipe out the Luo God-Clan.

Spectators who had lingered to watch the excitement fled in panic toward the overcrowded city gates.

Xu Zimo walked down the street with his curved blade. Though the city was in chaos, the street he stood on was dead silent, no one dared make a sound.

“Return to the Luo estate!” the Luo God-Clan’s saintess, Luo Yanyu, shouted as her figure turned into a streak of light and fled. Xu Zimo didn’t stop her. The Luo God-Clan would be destroyed; running made no difference.

Miao Ruyin, however, didn’t flee. She hovered calmly in the air.

Xu Zimo swung his blade. The void shattered, blade light tearing across the sky.

Miao Ruyin shouted softly. A flash of immortal light flickered around her, breaking apart the blade light.

“You’re attacking me as well?!”

“I said it already, everyone in the alliance must die,” Xu Zimo replied.

He swung the Shadow Tyrant again. This time, dense blade light filled the world, sealing every escape, surrounding Miao Ruyin completely.

The blade aura roared like a sea. Miao Ruyin didn’t panic. She pressed her palms together.

“Protection of Myriad Immortals.”

Immortal mist burst out, and faint immortal shadows appeared, forming a barrier around her. The falling blade light was completely blocked.

But in the next instant, Xu Zimo was already beside her. His foot came down, demonic mist surging around him as he kicked with world-shattering force. The strike even produced a sonic boom in the air.

With one kick, the immortals scattered.

Miao Ruyin’s expression changed. There was nothing flashy in his moves, but each one carried destructive power. She raised her hands in a hurried defense.

A deafening explosion rang out. She was sent flying.

Xu Zimo didn’t give her a chance to breathe. One of his Ten Primordial God-Scriptures, Creation-Devouring God-Finger, was already aimed at her. Creation energy surged at his fingertip, its swallowing force filling the air, threatening to annihilate her completely.

But she truly was a prodigy from the upper realm.

“The myriad immortals are my foundation. At the peak of immortality, proud over the world, I am the Immortal Dao.”

Her long hair fluttered wildly. In that moment, she looked like a true immortal descending into the world. Immortal qi erupted around her, sweeping upward for thirty million miles.

Her white robes billowed like snow. Her eyes were as clear as drifting clouds. Behind her, an immortal path stretched across the heavens.

“Suppress!”

Miao Ruyin finally ignited her true strength. In the upper realm, she was also a monstrous prodigy. How could she allow herself to be defeated by a cultivator from the lower realms?

The immortal path descended like a river of stars, a flood of immortal force crashing down with unstoppable might.

Xu Zimo let out a cold snort.
