The Immortal Dao seemed capable of crushing and tearing apart everything. It sought to grind Xu Zimo into pieces. Its power was overwhelming, arrogant, and peerless, as if looking down upon all existence. The Immortal Dao roared, and the celestial mist above surged violently.

This was Miao Ruyin’s True Fate.

There were rumors that within the Myriad Immortal Nation, thousands of immortals stood shoulder to shoulder. Whether that was an exaggeration, no one knew, but everyone believed true immortals existed within.

At this moment, Miao Ruyin fully activated the inheritance of the immortals. Her immortal aura aligned completely with the Great Dao. All laws could not invade her. Her immortal arts were eternal.

“You are merely at the third stage of the Saint Sovereign Realm, yet you dare call yourself an immortal in front of me?” Xu Zimo shouted coldly. “Not to speak of you, a false immortal. Even a true immortal, so what?”

The Shadow Tyrant in his hand roared. The will to shatter the heavens erupted in all directions, its strength sweeping across the world. The force of the Eight Directions was enough to split the sky. What did an insignificant Immortal Dao count for?

Xu Zimo stepped into the air, directly confronting the Immortal Dao that sought to strangle him. “Kill!” With a shout, his Eightfold Sky-Split shattered the Immortal Dao.

It wasn’t only the crushing difference in cultivation. His blade intent was unmatched, sharp to the extreme, capable of destroying heaven and earth. It annihilated the Immortal Dao and slashed straight toward Miao Ruyin.

“Young Miss, be careful!”

Miao Ruyin was already stunned with fear. Only when a deep, aged voice sounded from the void beside her and a large hand pulled her back did she recover her senses. Standing steadily again, she felt as though she had just walked through the gates of hell. Cold sweat soaked her forehead.

She raised her head and saw Xu Zimo standing in the air, black robes like ink. The curved blade in his hand dragged behind him, and the blade light behind him surged like a rainbow, like a long river stretching for a million miles as he walked toward her.

“Please halt,” the old man who had saved her said.

He wore a robe of dark green mixed with blue, his aura thick and deep. Though there was no immortal qi around him, a vast and righteous force burst from him, mighty like a river stretching across heaven and earth. Even the wind blowing against his broad sleeves seemed filled with majesty.

“Elder Hong,” Miao Ruyin said in surprise. “Why are you here?”

“Since you descended to the lower realm, I’ve been protecting you from the shadows,” the old man replied. “Otherwise, your grandfather would never have allowed you to come alone. And as it turns out, the Imperial Lord was right. If I hadn’t come, the consequences today would be unimaginable.”

“This man must die,” Miao Ruyin said coldly, looking at Xu Zimo.

She was the most favored princess of the Myriad Immortal Nation. Since childhood, she had barely suffered even the slightest grievance. Within the nation, everyone treated her with the utmost respect. She had always been superior. Even after descending to the lower realm, she never imagined anyone would dare lay a hand on her.

“He will die, but only after the True Martial Progenitor slays the heavens,” the elder replied.

If the True Martial Progenitor did not attempt the Heaven-Slaying, then not only the Myriad Immortal Nation, even the Heavenly Court itself, would be powerless against the True Martial Sacred Ground. But once he departed to fight the heavens, the sect would be like a fat lamb with no strength to resist.

“Are you two done talking?” Xu Zimo asked coldly. “I’m impatient to send you both to hell.”

“Young man, a little strength and you dare be so arrogant?” The elder snorted. “Since the True Martial Sacred Ground sent you to destroy the Luo God-Clan, allow me to test your weight.”

“You’re not enough. Bring out your Myriad Immortal Nation’s Infinite Dao cultivators,” Xu Zimo said. At the Saint Sovereign Realm, he was invincible. Only an Infinite Dao cultivator could suppress him.

The elder snorted again. He was also a Sage Monarch.

“Such boastful words.”

He raised his hands, vast righteous mist swelling from his chest and overflowing outward. A mighty force surged in the void, and in an instant, a colossal palm descended toward Xu Zimo.

“Slash,” Xu Zimo said lightly. The Shadow Tyrant fell, splitting the enormous palm into four fragments.

“Aryan-Swastika God-Seal!” he shouted again. It was like a sea of blood erupting, tides of crimson surging forward. The mantra seal dissolved in his palm and shot toward the elder. The seal was like a demon, an endless ocean of blood engulfing the void.

The elder’s eyelid twitched. His hands formed seals rapidly.

“Righteous Mist, Majestic Heavenly Might!”

Righteous mist surged violently from his sleeves and transformed into a soaring dragon that charged toward the mantra seal.

A massive explosion erupted, mushroom clouds rising in the void. The righteous dragon let out a wail before exploding. The Aryan-Swastika God-Seal dimmed significantly but still tore through the righteous mist and continued forward.

“How can he be this strong?” the elder muttered, his expression changing.

A horsetail whisk appeared in his hand. With a flick of his wrist, even time and space seemed to freeze. The mantra seal was locked in place.

But Xu Zimo had long been prepared. Infernal energy surged through him as the Hell-Suppressing Demon Physique activated. Endless demonic force poured into his body. The Shadow Tyrant became tainted with demonic power, transformed into a Demon Blade.

He slashed forward. When the elder once again swung the whisk, the demon blade ripped it apart instantly. White threads scattered through the air. The demon blade did not slow down, it pierced straight through the elder’s chest.

Blood gushed out, but under the influence of demonic energy, it turned pitch black. The agonizing pain forced even a Sage Monarch to frown.

“Reveal your True Fate,” Xu Zimo commanded coldly.

“Young man, you do have the right to be arrogant,” the elder said solemnly.

His green robe fluttered as the righteous mist on him transformed, becoming as vast and towering as a sacred mountain. Power surged through heaven and earth.

Thunder rumbled.

“I possess a breath of righteous mist that can devour heaven, earth, sun, moon, and stars!”

He waved his massive hand, and righteous mist filled the void so densely it seemed omnipresent. Even Xu Zimo’s demonic qi was briefly suppressed.

“Open the Immortal Gate!” the elder shouted.

From his brow, immortal light burst forth, twisting the void in front of him as a gate forcibly opened.

“The power of all immortals gathers upon me. With the fall of the immortals, all beings perish.”

With a thunderous rumble, the Immortal Gate slowly opened. A wave of annihilating immortal light burst out.

Behind the gate, more than a dozen figures sat cross-legged, floating in the void. Though their features were indistinct, the power circulating around them made it clear, they were beings far beyond the Saint Sovereign Realm.

From each of those figures, a strand of power flowed out and converged into a single beam of immortal light. The beam erupted from the Immortal Gate and shot toward Xu Zimo.
