I Really Am A Villain
Chapter 1643 - Plum Blossom Soul-Chase, Blood-Stained Dragon Sea
“Enough nonsense,” High Leviathan roared as the power within his body erupted. His towering aura made everything clear, he was an Infinite Dao cultivator.
This was no surprise. He was the true master of the Heavensward Tower, and his Primordial Edict was the Dao of Space.
“With the power of ten thousand Leviathan as my guide, I will kill the two of you today!” High Leviathan bellowed. It was as though he commanded the strength of the entire Leviathan Race. As his overwhelming energy swept out, countless Leviathan lifted their heads and roared. The spatial power surrounding their bodies seemed forcibly stripped away.
“Kill!” High Leviathan’s power surged. His long hair whipped wildly in the storm of energy. Endless spatial force rushed in to tear everything apart.
San Dao snorted coldly. He drew Shadow Slayer from his waist, unleashing blade energy that soared to the heavens, trying to shatter the crushing spatial force.
A thunderous boom erupted as blade intent clashed with spatial power, forming endless ripples.
High Leviathan roared, the spatial force around him growing ever stronger. The next moment, his form shifted into a gigantic Leviathan. Behind him, a pair of sky-covering wings swept across the horizon, cutting down toward his foe.
San Dao met the attack head-on. Metal rang sharply as the Leviathan’s talons collided with the blade, sparks flying in all directions.
High Leviathan gripped the Saint Sovereign and dragged him toward the depths of the Dragon Sea, leaving behind only one order:
“Kill him.”
“Him” naturally referred to Xu Zimo. High Leviathan took the Saint Sovereign away to battle in the abyss, leaving Xu Zimo alone to face the entire Leviathan Race.
The one upside, besides High Leviathan, there were no other Infinite Dao cultivators among them.
Countless Leviathan roars echoed through the air, dense and penetrating, all rushing toward Xu Zimo. Xu Zimo drew Shadow Tyrant. The power to split the heavens coiled around the blade.
“Come. Today, I’ll exterminate the Leviathan Race,” Xu Zimo said calmly.
One stroke of his blade cleaved a Leviathan into a mangled pile of flesh. The others recoiled in shock.
A Leviathan of Saint Sovereign level stepped forward and commanded, “Everyone fall back! Only Saint Sovereigns may fight. No one else is allowed to join.”
He understood well, before Saint Sovereigns, all lesser beings were insects. Numbers could not replace absolute power. The weaker clansmen would only be throwing their lives away.
After the Great Beyond War, almost all members of the Heavensward Tower had died. The Leviathan Race now had only twelve Saint Sovereigns left, including their oldest ancestors. This was their full remaining strength.
“End it quickly,” one Saint Sovereign said.
“Then come together,” Xu Zimo replied, gripping Shadow Tyrant. His blade intent spread like a sea, like a prison.
He laughed. “I have never lost to anyone below Infinite Dao. Good. Today you can all serve as my whetstones.”
Before the Leviathan could prepare, Xu Zimo charged first. Blade intent gathered above like a storm. His Hell-Suppressing Demon Physique erupted with fierce demonic energy.
The Leviathans all wielded spatial force. Xu Zimo bolstered himself with the Primal Dao of Space as well, flashing between different layers of the void, appearing before one Leviathan in an instant. His strike was overwhelming.
Shadow Tyrant pierced into the Leviathan’s skull with explosive force, nearly blasting its brain apart. The Leviathan shrieked and slammed its wings against Xu Zimo’s body, but Xu Zimo didn’t even flinch.
“Again. Is that supposed to tickle me?” he shouted.
“Don’t be arrogant!” another Leviathan dove from above. Spatial force gathered into a raging storm, a tornado of twisting void meant to shred Xu Zimo into pieces.
Xu Zimo didn’t retreat; he pressed forward. His Creation Devouring God-Finger crushed the void storm. Demonic energy surged from beneath his feet as he closed the distance, grabbed both the Leviathan’s wings, and tore them apart.
A devastating rip echoed out as blood and flesh splattered everywhere. In just moments, two Saint Sovereigns had suffered grievous injury.
The Leviathan Race was shocked.
“This man’s strength is terrifying. None of us can match him alone.”
“War Leviathan, help me!” one Leviathan shouted.
He transformed into human form, rapidly forming seals with both hands. The mark resembled a plum blossom, five petals.
“Plum Blossom Soul-Chase, Blood-Stained Dragon Sea!”
He roared. The originally white blossom turned blood red. In an instant, countless petals floated into the sky. Thousands upon thousands of plum blossoms fell from above like rain.
Xu Zimo sensed it immediately, the petals carried the Dao of Blood, the law of Bloodlust. Everyone knew the Leviathan Race wielded spatial laws. No one expected some among them to awaken a blood-based Dao.
There were too many petals to dodge. Each one that touched Xu Zimo absorbed a trace of his blood essence. That stolen blood was then channeled into the Leviathan who cast the technique.
“So you want to drain me? Then I’ll let you drink your fill,” Xu Zimo murmured.
He waved his hand. The Tree of Life broke through the void, appearing behind him. Boundless vitality surged outward.
The plum blossoms desperately absorbed his life force, while the Tree of Life supplied an endless stream. For a moment, the two forces held each other in stalemate.
The Leviathan who cast the technique was bathed in the overwhelming life force, his body swelling with vitality as if growing hundreds of years younger. But too much of anything becomes poison, even life.
As the life force reached an unbearable intensity, he realized something was wrong. His body began to swell unnaturally.
“No… stop! Stop it now!” he shouted.
He tried to break the connection with the plum blossoms, but in that instant, the blossoms slipped out of his control and fell under Xu Zimo’s command.
“No! Stop, stop!”
His terrified scream was cut short as his body exploded with a thunderous boom. Flesh rained down like a storm. The sky seemed to weep blood.
“You might as well all come at once,” Xu Zimo said, beckoning the remaining Saint Sovereigns. “Don’t waste my time.”
The remaining Saint Sovereigns exchanged uneasy glances. Fear had already crept into their hearts.
