Chapter 66: Law Establishment Gone Wrong
CHAPTER 66: LAW ESTABLISHMENT GONE WRONG
The drawing room was dimly lit by enchanted lanterns floating near the ceiling, casting a mellow gold light over the five girls reclining across cushions and velvet lounges.
The air was thick with the scent of mint tea and sweet citrus tarts, the remnants of their late-night indulgence resting on a lacquered tray between them.
Virellen sprawled across the carpet like a cat, chin propped on her fists.
"So,should we talk about it?"
She said, voice playful and sharp
Auralyne blinked.
"Talk about what?"
Cellione gave her a knowing look from her seat on the armrest.
"Don’t play dumb. You know."
"The moment,"
Serineth murmured from her cushion, her voice like soft mist.
Aurevia sipped calmly from her tea. Her expression didn’t change—but she didn’t interrupt.
Auralyne narrowed her eyes.
"...If you’re talking about earlier when he asked you to leave—"
Virellen cut in with a grin,
"Exactly that."
Cellione leaned forward.
"We’ve been with Master long enough to know what it usually means when he clears the room and tells us to get out."
Auralyne’s cheeks flushed.
"Nothing happened."
"Not the point,"
Virellen said sweetly, rolling onto her back.
"The point is... he could have. That’s why we made it official."
"Made what official?"
Auralyne asked, growing wary.
Serineth answered softly,
"The Order."
Auralyne frowned.
"Order?"
Cellione sat straighter, as if announcing a decree.
"The Official Order of Claimed Sisters."
Auralyne stared.
"You’re not serious."
"We are,"
Virellen said with pride.
"It’s the only way to maintain peace and clarity."
Aurevia finally spoke, her voice calm.
"It was necessary."
"But—why?"
Cellione grinned.
"Because you’re not the last. We’ve seen the signs. Twenty-four more sisters will join us in time."
"We made the rule to establish priority. Rank. Structure."
Virellen added.
"And to prevent chaos. We know ourselves. We’d tear each other apart if we didn’t have rules."
Serineth murmured.
" Besides, we all know that our perverted Master who’s into little girls couldn’t be stopped after he starts. "
Virellen said with a tired expression.
Auralyne’s expression faltered.
"So... who’s first?"
All eyes turned to Aurevia.
The white-haired girl’s composure wavered just slightly—her crimson eyes lowering, cheeks faintly coloring.
"I was branded first,"
She said quietly.
"She didn’t even flinch,"
Cellione said.
"Back then, she looked so calm. Like she’d already made up her mind."
"She had,"
Serineth added, her tone reverent.
"I just followed what felt right,"
Aurevia said, setting her cup down with quiet finality.
Auralyne exhaled slowly. Her voice came lower, more serious.
"...You think he was going to claim me?"
"Don’t you?"
Virellen asked with a pointed grin.
"He had that look. Calm, gentle... too gentle. That’s when he’s most dangerous."
"We thought that he might make you his before we were ready to accept it. And it hurt. Not because we dislike you—"
Cellione said frankly,
"But because we weren’t prepared,"
Virellen finished.
"That’s what sparked it. The rule. The order. The understanding."
Aurevia nodded.
"We must protect what we have. Even from jealousy."
There was a pause. Not heavy. But meaningful.
Then Virellen tilted her head at Auralyne.
"You still haven’t said it."
"Said what?"
They all looked at her.
"...Master."
Auralyne sighed, rubbing her temples.
"You’re relentless."
"We’re thorough,"
Cellione said smugly.
Serineth’s voice was gentle.
"You’re already part of this family. The word will feel natural soon."
Auralyne lowered her head, heart thudding oddly, and mumbled,
"...Master."
Virellen beamed.
"There we go. Our hierarchy is now fully initiated."
Silence followed—soft and warm, woven with firelight and moonlight.
"I never imagined this,"
Auralyne said quietly.
"Being owned. Branded. Yet here I am... not afraid."
"You’ll come to understand,"
Aurevia said gently.
"It’s not chains we wear. It’s devotion. And we chose it."
"Freely,"
Serineth echoed.
"Fiercely,"
Cellione added.
"Willingly,"
Virellen finished, smirking.
Auralyne looked at each of them in turn... then smiled, just a little.
"...Then I’ll walk this path, too."

The soft breeze rustled the balcony curtains of Alaric’s room, where he stood, bathed in the slanted morning light. His robe hung open across his chest. In one hand, he held a delicate porcelain cup of green-silver tea. The other rested lazily on the railing.
He looked utterly unbothered.
The aftermath of the auction still echoed through Caerywn. The Crydias estate was bustling. But Alaric stood untouched, as if the world spun beneath him—not around him.
He felt them before they arrived.
Five presences, fierce in their stride.
He raised his eyebrow—and the doors to his chamber swung open with a whisper of divine energy.
They entered like a storm.
Virellen and Cellione led the charge, their eyes gleaming with resolve. Serineth followed with uncommon severity.
Aurevia moved with composed steps, but a hard light simmered beneath her calm. Auralyne trailed behind them, deeply confused, clearly unbriefed.
Virellen marched up to him, holding a small black notebook like it was a decree of war.
"Master,"
She declared,
"we need to discuss something. Immediately."
Alaric turned slowly, one brow arching high, lips poised to sip his tea—but pausing.
"...Do go on."
Virellen flipped open the notebook with theatrical flair.
Cellione stood tall beside her, arms crossed.
"We’ve formalized an internal doctrine. A necessary structure."
Serineth nodded solemnly.
"To ensure peace. And sanity."
Aurevia added with quiet finality,
"And order."
Auralyne whispered from the back,
"...Wait, what?"
Virellen stepped forward with the gravitas of a noble envoy.
"This is the Official Claimed Order. We’ve structured a clear hierarchy of who was claimed first and so on. Based on branding order, closeness, intent, and projected emotional resonance.
And also who will you be with will be determined by that order. Violating it would grand severe punishment. Though we hadn’t decided yet what kind of punishment, but we will get to that eventually. "
Alaric’s eyes widened slightly, looking at the notebook... then back at Virellen... then again at the notebook.
"...Claimed Order?"
He repeated.
"It’s official,"
Virellen confirmed.
"And it must be followed."
"There will be additions,"
Cellione added,
"to accommodate new entries into your romantic sphere."
"To preserve peace between sisters,"
Serineth said softly.
"We drafted the book last night,"
Virellen continued.
"With future growth in mind."
Alaric didn’t respond immediately. He simply stood there... the tea cup frozen near his lips, hovering as if he’d forgotten how to drink. His eyes were open slightly wider than usual, an unspoken astonishment swimming in their depths.
Then he exhaled softly through his nose, the beginnings of a smile curling across his face.
"You girls..."
He chuckled lowly.
"When I first bought the 24 girls who arrived way before auction, I had no intention of touching them. No branding. No chains. Just safety, food, and a quiet life.
They were meant to serve—not be part of my romantic circle. I only plannedto have you girls. Of course with some special cases like Auralynes case, there will be exception. "
He stepped forward.
"And then here you come."
He plucked the notebook gently from Virellen’s hand, flipping through a few pages with mock awe.
"An official law book. For my harem."
He sniffled dramatically and dabbed the corner of his eye with his sleeve.
"Ugh, I’m tearing up. So generous. So thoughtful. My precious, overachieving girls..."
The four original girls visibly flinched.
Auralyne began to realize something was very, very off.
"Since you’ve put so much effort into organizing this..."
Alaric smiled wider, eyes gleaming with a dangerous lilt,
"how could I possibly refuse?"
The room fell silent.
Cellione looked stunned. Virellen froze mid-pride. Serineth’s expression slowly crumpled into dread. Aurevia remained still—but her fingers clenched her robe.
"So I accept,"
Alaric declared.
"Your proposal is brilliant. Law and order shall reign in the household."
He handed the notebook back to Virellen reverently.
"And on that note—your 24 new sisters have arrived. Wel, they did beforethe auction. But I couldn’t find an opportunity to tell you guys. But since you girls have brought me such happy news. We will celebrate with your new sisters."
The words hit like thunder.
They weren’t ready.
They thought they were ready.
But they weren’t.
Aurevia’s calm face cracked into quiet disbelief. Cellione blinked like she’d been hit in the head. Serineth began chewing the edge of her sleeve. Virellen’s jaw fell open.
"W-We didn’t mean—"
Cellione began.
"We got outplayed,"
Virellen whispered.
"We got played big time,"
Serineth hissed.
"He used the law against us,"
Cellione muttered.
"He used common sense against us,"
Virellen whimpered.
***
Alaric turned toward the door, unhurried.
Then paused.
He looked over his shoulder, directly at Auralyne.
His expression softened—not mocking. Not teasing.
"Auralyne. Come with me."
She blinked.
"I have something... private to discuss."
Without a word, she followed.
***
The doors closed behind them with a soft divine shimmer.
And the four girls were left in the echoing stillness of their self-made defeat.
Their expressions varied—but the realization was the same:
They had walked straight into their Master’s web.
And they’d loved every second of it.
