I Suddenly Got a Rich Husband and a Child

Chapter 3: Chapter 3 The Little Boy with His Wrists Bound
Five years later.
North City Huanle Valley, the temporarily closed haunted house.
Ye Weiwei, dressed in a Zombie Bride dress, was eating instant noodles in the Monster Lab. This was a part-time job she had just found. Eighty yuan an hour was a princely sum for someone who had just been released from prison; she cherished it greatly.
But she didn''t expect that whilst she was halfway through her noodles, the person in charge of the amusement park, the middle-aged, bald-headed Manager Ma came in.
"Weiwei, having instant noodles?" Manager Ma''s eyes gleamed green as drool almost spilled from the corner of his mouth.
"Uh-huh. I''m hungry."
"Hungry, eh? I have a way to fill you up; want to give it a try?" Manager Ma moved behind Ye Weiwei, his fat paw landing on her fair and smooth shoulder.
Ye Weiwei felt disgusted by this creep. She put down the fork for her noodles and with a beautiful spin and glide, she avoided him, "Sorry, not interested!"
The boy looked to be about the same age as her own Xixi, exquisitely adorable. However, his little face was pale, shoulders trembling, and his obsidian-like eyes were filled with nothing but wariness and vigilance.
Why would there be a child in the haunted house of Huanle Valley? Surely he couldn''t be working part-time as well?
"Manager Ma, does Huanle Valley employ child labor?" Ye Weiwei kicked the lecher.
The lecher howled, "No, how dare we!"
"Fine, you''re useless now!" Ye Weiwei pushed the lecher aside and crouched down to talk to the shivering Little Baozi, "Little friend, can you speak? Tell me who you are, I''ll take you out to find your mum and dad, okay?"
Little Baozi had been strong thus far, but the moment Ye Weiwei mentioned "mum," the stubborn tears in his eyes readily surrendered, rolling down his cheeks.
Weiwei couldn''t stand to see children cry; she felt helpless and said, "Baby, don''t cry, please don''t cry. I''ll take you out to find your mum, okay?"
Little Baozi didn''t speak, his shoulders shaking even more violently, like a little kitten that had been scared.
