David's eyebrows raised in surprise as he witnessed Fiona being shaken by the towering armor controlled by Batman.

Fiona was yanked over by the grappling hook, her skilled and agile body throwing a punch from below, compressing the air into a tangible force, creating waves upon waves of pressure.

But the colossal mech, like a seasoned martial artist, moved with neither hesitation nor delay, exuding an aura of depth and stability, neutralizing her attack and counter-punching with a heavy blow that smashed her onto the rooftop.

"Who are you?"

The entire building shook, and Fiona twisted her eyebrows, releasing heat vision from her eyes that bombarded the mech's chest. Despite the powerful impact forcing the mech backward, it sustained no substantial damage.

"The alloy used to forge this armor is almost as strong as Kryptonian battle suits."

And this armor reminded her of David, with its similar ability to absorb energy.

"Just a human."

Fiona thought it was another extraterrestrial meddling in the affair, but Batman's reply was cold and concise. The mech's thrusters flared, and it raised its massive fist, charging towards Fiona.

Breaking the sound barrier, it flew off in pursuit of Zod and Clark, while David took one last glance before turning his gaze away.

"Promethium metal, Fin Fang Foom's Armor..."

The familiar scene of the mech absorbing the heat vision revealed to David the material of Batman's armor, the same as the military's prototype armor designed to counter him.

Both were made of Promethium, a consumable alloy prone to transformation.

To confront a Kryptonian head-on with such powerful capabilities, David recalled one of the rare powerful armors Batman had in the comics – Fin Fang Foom's Armor.

"Though the armor isn't complete, it should hold Fiona off for a short while."

He sped across the city skyline.

Fin Fang Foom, the Norse mythological beast capable of devouring Odin, was the namesake of Batman's high-tech armor, designed to counter a rogue Justice League. It boasted defenses against Superman's strength, red sun rays targeting Kryptonian weaknesses, systems to track the Flash's movements, and illusions to confound Wonder Woman.
