Adam and Cyan stepped back. They turned around and started to leave from there. They moved as one a silent and efficient team. With them Lily and Lily's mother started to walk.

Adam and Cyan noticed that Lily and her mother were walking at a very slow speed. They were weak and tired. Seeing this both of them immediately turned back. Lily and her mother were very surprised.

Then Lily's mother said "What is it?" Then Adam and Cyan moved forward. Seeing this both of them got scared. They thought they were in trouble. Then Adam said "If you both keep walking at this speed then we will all get caught." Hearing this Lily could not speak. She was too weak.

Then Adam grabbed Lily and lifted her on his shoulder. Cyan sat Lily's mother on his back. In such a way that they would not have much trouble.

Both of them said to Lily and her mother "Hold on tightly. We will not stop." Hearing this Lily's mother held Cyan's waist tightly.

Lily who was hanging on Adam's shoulder could not speak. But then Adam started to run. For him it was not a big problem even if Lily was on his shoulder.

She was light. Lily was very uncomfortable being on Adam's shoulder. And with the speed at which Adam was running Lily's body could not keep up at all.

Cyan also ran with his full speed. In a short while both of them got out of the building. Lily's mother saw that the whole building was in a state of chaos. It looked as if a lot of destruction had happened here.

Walls were crumbling and smoke filled the air. Then Lily's mother understood that when they were locked in the room in the beginning these people were doing this destruction.

But Lily's mother still did not know why these people had come to save them. Adam and Cyan quickly brought them out of that building. After getting out of the building they went through a road.

They went very carefully so that no one could see them. They went to another building. Which was a short distance from that building.

Although there were not many people there. But still they were fully alert to make their mission successful. So that no one would know.

After reaching that other building Lily and her mother were put down by Adam and Cyan. Lily was feeling very dizzy. Because she had ridden on Adam's shoulder who was running so fast.

When Adam was putting Lily down Lily saw Adam's hand. Where a bracelet was tied. Adam always wore this bracelet. It was a gift from his parents.

Seeing this bracelet Lily looked at Adam. She was very shocked. And she was about to say in a low voice. Then Adam came a little closer.

He said to Lily "Keep this fist in your mouth. If you want to stay alive." Lily was a little confused at first. And she was not sure if it was Adam.

But after hearing Adam's voice and his threat she understood that it was none other than Adam. She was very surprised to know that the boy who troubled her in school had come to save her.

Understanding this she was very surprised. She could not understand why after all why Adam had come to save her. And who were the people who were with him.

And what kind of background did Adam come from. As much as Lily knew about Adam he had come from a very normal family. Where a little while ago his parents had died. Lily did not know much more than this about Adam.

Lily was lost in this thought. Then her mother's voice came from behind. "Lily where are you lost? We have to go from here." Then Cyan said "Your husband is waiting on the third floor of this building." Hearing this Lily and her mother looked at Cyan.

They immediately started to go to the third floor by the stairs. Because this was a construction building. And it was completely abandoned.

The scene shifted.

We saw the third floor. Where Samanta and Drake were already present. Samanta was bandaging George's legs. George was very surprised.

And looking at both of them he said "Have you people come from the Royal Family?" After hearing this Samanta suddenly looked at Drake. And then she took a deep breath.

She said to George "No. We have no relation with the Royal Family. But yes someone close to you has sent us." Hearing this George was very surprised.

He thought "My own? I don't remember any such person. Because I was the only manager of the Royal Family I had started to look down on all my friends relatives and everyone. After that they also started to completely ignore me. But today when I am in the weakest position who would have saved me?"

Then George said "Can I know the name of that close one?" Hearing this Drake immediately moved forward. And he stood in front of George.

George was lying on his bed. Which was like a bed kept in a hospital. Which was used for patients. Then Drake said "We can't tell you this. And you shouldn't know either." Hearing this George was very surprised.

He was about to say something. Then he remembered about his wife and his daughter. Then he said worriedly "You said that you people will also save my wife and daughter. Where are they? Have you succeeded? That fat man is very famous for his security." Hearing this Drake said again "Don't worry. We have saved them too. And as for that fat man he is dead." Hearing this George was very surprised.

He repeated Drake's words. He said "What? The fat man is dead?" This was a very big thing. These people had not only rescued him but also killed the fat man.

This was a very big thing. And if these families who were engaged in a war found out about this then there would be a chaos.

Because just as George handled the finances of the Royal Family in this country in the same way that fat man handled the finances of those small families.

He was about to ask another question. Then he saw that there was some movement in the corridor outside the room. And then George saw that his wife and his daughter Lily had come running into the room from outside.

As soon as George's wife saw George on the bed. And his legs were bandaged. And seeing him sitting on the bed conscious she came to George crying.

And she hugged him. She said "Dear I thought I would never be able to see you again." Lily also ran and hugged her father. She said "Dad I am very happy that nothing happened to you." Hearing this George also became very emotional.

But he did not cry in front of them. Because he knew that if he remained weak in front of them then who would support them. Holding both of them in his arms George said "Don't worry. We are safe now."

After saying this George's wife and his daughter Lily moved back. And they moved away from his embrace.

George his wife his daughter Drake Samanta and behind them Adam and Cyan who were coming.

They looked at them. And bowing their heads all three of them said "We are very grateful to you. You have taken us out of such a situation. Where we had no hope at all." Cyan moved forward.

He took out some things from his bag and threw them at them.

He said "Don't be happy yet. Eat something. And get out of here right away. Our job was to bring you this far. If you get caught somewhere in between then we will not come to save you." Hearing this George was very surprised.

And he did not take this threat lightly at all. He immediately stood up from the bed. But then he saw that he did not have that much strength in his legs. His wife and his daughter Lily supported him.

Then Adam said from behind "There is a car parked outside the back gate of this building. We will drop you there. After that you can go to your destination in that car." He was offering them a final lifeline.

A way out of this mess.

He knew that their journey was far from over. But for now they were safe. And that was all that mattered. The small family huddled together. They were bruised and battered but they were alive. And they had a chance to start a new life.

A life away from the shadows of the underworld. It was a small victory in a much larger war. But it was a victory nonetheless. And for Adam it was a small step towards redemption. A small flicker of light in the darkness that had consumed his life. He had saved them. And in doing so he had saved a small part of himself.
