I Want To Lay the Very Best!
336 – One Layer Deeper
The Delcatty was out of the bag, and the next few moments would decide everything.
The Tentacruel and Grappleoct had fallen back into a stupor, hugging the plushy Pyukumuku Substitute between their tentacled bodies. Brandy would never speak against a budding relationship. Hopefully, they got those tentacles good and tangled, but the extra help would have been really nice. Tess, Calcine, and Nibbles were the only Pokémon resisting the song. Despite their strength and numbers, Calcine was weak to Water Types, and Tamsin had just shown that she could cure Poison Moves and even heal with them.
Brandy wasn't about to repeat the mistake of the tentacle crew. Shaking everyone out of Monique's Alluring Voice was the number one priority. "Nibbles! Spray everyone with Haze! Calcine, use Rapid Spin on Collie."
There was no chance they'd let Nibbles get off Haze, and Monique tried to handle it by holding her palm out to the Mareanie and blasting her with a barrage of high-speed water jets. The thick black smoke that oozed out of Nibble's hair and mouth got holes blasted right through it, and Nibbles stubbornly tanked a few of the shots, feet scraping across the deck as she tried to hold her ground. Eventually, one got her right in the stomach, slamming the breath out of her lungs and leaving her gasping for air.
"Recover!" Brandy called to Nibbles. Having her wheeze out more smoke wasn't going to be helpful, and the Haze was a distraction from the actual plan anyway. "Calcine, toss the Bug!"
Collie hadn't even been awake enough to hear Monique's voice, but she was rousing very quickly, and Calcine was spinning her around like a top. The Golisopod was nice and safe tucked away in her heavily armored shell, making her an excellent missile that Monique futilely tried to stop with more streaming Water Pulses. All it did was wake Collie up quicker, the bug spitting out the water and stretching out her limbs in the air as she dropped on the Milotic.
"First Impression," Brandy cackled. "Send her back to the sea!"
Tamsin tried to leap to Monique's defense, but Tess came barreling in from the side and took Tamsin's legs out with a quick sweep. The bunny girl's ears bounced as she rolled her shoulder into the ground and used her momentum to catch Tamsin with an upside-down windmill kick that'd have made any breakdancer proud. Brandy couldn't help but stare in amazement at such a perfectly executed Double Kick.
Maybe Tess should have been their fourth. Woof.
Monique coiled up in her tail as Collie dropped on her like a meteor. There was a thunderous crash, and the entire ship shook, a vast cloud of splinters erupting from the deck as the two Pokémon slammed together. Brandy grabbed the hem of her Maid's skirt as the wind blasted out from the impact. When the dust settled, Monique was half-pounded right through the deck, her tail slapping about wildly, trying to dig out the rest of her body from the hole she'd been knocked into. She got Collie with a swing of the tail and tried to toss them overboard, but the Golisopod dropped out of her shell mid-tumble in the air and quickly scuttled over the edge of the ship's side as her heavier armor kept going and landed in the ocean with a massive splash.
Collie was probably out until she got dressed again, so Brandy ensured the sacrifice wasn't in vain.
"Calcine? Smack Down."
Calcine cracked her knuckles and strode towards Monique. As the glowing eyes bore down on her, Monique's attempts to get her wide ass free of the deck's wooden boards only grew more frantic.
"Monique!" Tamsin yelped, her gel-like body rippling as she tried to roll with the kicks from Tess's powerful legs. "I'm sorry you got hit!"
"Focus on the Bunny, sweetheart! I've taken harder poundings," Monique called back, her tail flopping against the deck. She stared down at the advancing Calcine. "Go on then, big girl. Try to break me."
Calcine raised a hand to the sky, the golden lines of fire crisscrossing her body as a few flames spilled out of her panting mouth. She slapped down at Monique's stomach, but her whipping tail got in between, and Calcine ended up spanking the tail hard instead. Monique's eyes went wide, and her tongue lolled out of her mouth as the shock of that smack crashed through her.
"You liked it," Calcine rumbled. "How about another?"
"What's that coalfire?" Monique gulped, trying to recompose herself. "Did you hit me?"
The next slap was even louder than the first.
"Oh, Arceus, yes!" Monique cried. "Harder!"
Calcine had ruined her focus, the Alluring Voice effect was wearing off, and everyone was waking up. Tess tried another Double Kick on Tamsin, but this time, Tamsin perfectly countered her with a spinning kick of her own. The two bounced off each other like spinning tops, but Tess was unbalanced, and the speed she'd built up turned into a messy, sprawling roll across the deck.
"Got her!" Tamsin called, "Be right there, Monique, I'm-"
The Pyukumuku froze because Maple had been quick to help rouse her team, and now they were all lined up on her.
"Ah. Beans."
Mahi and the Octillery unloaded a twin barrage of water on Tamsin. Marina dipped her hand into the stream to add some bitter cold to the deluge. Tamsin could only take it all right on the chin, the icy cold water blasting her across the deck and freezing up her gooey body. It stopped her from easily oozing out of the way, as the ice acted like a thin glass container to keep her locked down.
Holly didn't have any range to add, but she'd scooped up Tess and pumped her up with some glowing blue energy while Tess clung, blushing to Holly's massive chest. She'd be coming out of that a powerhouse, not that it seemed like it'd be needed. Calcine was slapping Monique through the deck, and Tamsin was getting kicked about like a football.
Brandy couldn't help but feel the tiniest bit disappointed. Sure, it was nice the plan had gone so well, but she'd been building up the finale in her head, and she hadn't even needed to reveal the special finishing move they'd come up with. She'd been hoping for an incredible final showdown, but they'd barely needed the help.
Suspicious.
"Morgan, you up?"
There was a sound of spitting feathers from a small patch of the Haze Nibbles that had spat out, which Brandy took as a yes.
"Need your beautiful brain. Why would Monique pick a fight they had to know they'd lose?"
"If you play when you know you'll lose, you're either stupid, or losing gets you something," Morgan said as she strolled out of the haze. Sparky was dragged behind her, two hands on Morgan's hat that she was trying to pull off with absolutely no success. It was a testament to the team's bonding that Morgan could just ignore her antics.
"Any idea what that something is?"
The deck creaked as Calcine kept the spanking on Monique's tail, which the Miotic genuinely loved. Tamsin had her own wide eyes as the bunny duo Tess and Holly closed in on her, looking to end things for the gel-like woman with some hugging that'd leave dents in steel.
"I don't know. But we have better experts on hand to ask."
"Me?" Sparky said, "Wow, I'm flattered, but I don't know anything."
"Let go of my hat, you little brat."
"Taller than you."
"Not right now," Morgan said, stepping back to tread on Sparky. Which didn't make her any less noisy but did stop her from talking.
Morgan was right, though; they had sea Pokémon right here to ask. Nibbles was still finishing her Recover, and Chew couldn't talk in a way that Brandy understood, so Brandy looked to the Seadra.
"Adrianna, do you know what Monique's up to?"
"Usually, she fights to win," Adrianna said, wiping some drool off her cheek. "Her and Tamsin adore helping run these things and want everyone to leave happy."
"How's getting their ass kicked help with that?"
"Well, Tamsin clearly likes being bullied a little," Adrianna smirked as the Pyukumuku got motorboated by two busty bunny girls. "And honestly, from the sounds Monique is making, she's having a blast too."
Brandy gave Adrianna's tail a kick.
"Give me a proper answer."
Adrianna's red eyes burned as she turned to look at Brandy, purple fire dripping down one side of her mouth.
"Don't make demands."
Scary, but Brandy had been scared by bigger horse ladies. She stepped into Adrianna, getting close enough that their noses almost touched. Brandy licked the leaking dragon fire off Adrianna's chin, feeling the tingle as it stirred up her emotions, the disappointment a bit more bitter, and her growing frustration at the situation knotting in her gut.
"Indulge me." Brandy purred. "Don't you want to see me try to pull off my special move?"
Adrianna's breath was hot against Brandy's lips, but the bait she'd laid out was too irresistible a mental image for Adrianna not to snap up.
...
Bait. While Danièle had put the ship on the map, they'd only had so many Sea Pokémon charging them because Brandy had gotten so worked up getting a Bunny breast job. When humans were horny, Pokémon could sense it. It was one of the main ways they found each other, but not the only one. Adrianna and the deep sea Pokémon had come because they'd sensed weaker Pokémon getting fucked into the ship's deck. When Strong Pokémon got a taste of a human, who might be able to handle them? It was like a dinner bell ringing for a hungry stomach.
Brandy clapped her hand over Adrianna's mouth before she could speak. The Seadra's eyebrows shot up so high that they were in danger of coming off her head.
"Adrianna," Brandy asked, already knowing she would regret the answer. "You're a deep Sea Pokémon. Are there deeper sea Pokémon?"
"The old ladies?" Adrianna said slowly, sizing up Brandy's hand like picking out which finger to bite first. "We take turns cleaning them up. You know how it is. Those old fossils had a few kids forever ago, and now they've been down there longer than most of us can remember."
Fuck. The relentless battle. Monique sending in waves against Maple even though she knew they would lose. Leaving Brandy and Maple time to regain their strength. Then Tamsin and Monique charging into a battle they surely couldn't win. This wasn't about Monique's ego at all. This was about trying to stir up an ancient Sea Milf.
Brandy looked to Calcine, still pounding away, and bit her lip. She could warn everyone and stop this right here and now. Take her pick of all the many Water Types they'd fought today.
Or. Sea Milf.
Was there even a choice here?
