CHAPTER 237: GOODBYE TO THE MARE VILLAGE

Dominic’s big dragon stood up just as strong as his desire, yet he still acted with care, making sure Shiao Yi wouldn’t be hurt when his big dragon entered him.

Shiao Yi’s body had already learned to accept Dominic’s big dragon shape very well, so it entered him without any problem

Even if there might be a bit of pain, what he wanted more than anything was to be filled with Dominic’s warmth and presence.

Growing impatient, Shiao Yi shifted positions with Dominic and taking control for once.

Even as he sat across Dominic’s firm stomach, the man’s solid muscles didn’t move an inch.

When Shiao Yi tried to move his hips to guide Dominic’s big dragon into his back entrance, the strength beneath him stirred, and Dominic’s body moved with a low, amused sound.

"Shiao Yi," he murmured, voice low and amused, "you’re unusually eager tonight. Do you really want me that much?"

"Of course," Shiao Yi whispered back, smiling breathlessly. "I fought for you, didn’t I? They all wanted you, but you’re mine."

Dominic’s blue eyes softened, full of warmth and pride.

"Are you... jealous?" he asked quietly, almost laughing.

But Shiao Yi didn’t answer with words. He simply leaned in again, showing him through touch what he couldn’t say aloud, that there was no one else in the world he would ever want.

Shiao Yi’s emotions burned hotter than he could contain. Jealousy twisted inside him until it almost hurt.

"I was losing my mind with jealousy," he confessed in a low, trembling voice. "Dominic, you’re mine. I won’t let anyone else have you."

"I am yours, Shiao Yi," Dominic replied quietly, his voice full of certainty. "Now and forever."

Dominic’s hand reached out, cupping the back of Shiao Yi’s head and pulling him close. Their lips met, a kiss that deepened quickly, filled with all the emotions they had kept hidden for so long. Each breath between them grew heavier, the heat between their bodies rising with every heartbeat.

Shiao Yi clung to him, their movements slow but urgent, as if they were trying to melt into one another completely. The air was thick with warmth and the sound of unsteady breathing.

When they finally paused, Shiao Yi let out a deep sigh, his whole body trembling with the force of his feelings.

"You’re burning hot, Shiao Yi," Dominic whispered against his ear, voice rough and teasing. "It’s like your body is calling out for me."

"Then stop holding back," Shiao Yi murmured, breathless but smiling.

Dominic chuckled softly, his tone low and dangerous. "You’re bold tonight. Keep tempting me like that, and I might not be gentle."

"You’ve never been gentle, Dominic," Shiao Yi said, meeting his gaze with defiance and affection mixed together.

"Then don’t regret it," Dominic replied, grinning as his blue eyes darkened with desire. "I’ve been holding back for too long. I won’t stop this time."

With that, Dominic shifted his weight, pressing Shiao Yi down beneath him, the strength of his body leaving no room for escape, only trust.

For a brief second, Shiao Yi’s heart jumped, realizing he might have provoked more than he expected. But even as his thoughts blurred, a smile curved his lips.

Because this was what he wanted, to be seen, claimed, and loved by Dominic completely.

Shiao Yi could hardly breathe. His voice broke between gasps as he tried to tell Dominic to stop, but the words tangled with tears and laughter. He felt overwhelmed, by emotion, by closeness, by everything that was happening between them.

Dominic looked down at him with an expression that mixed tenderness and hunger. "You’re beautiful when you cry," he whispered. "You have no idea how much that affects me, Shiao Yi. My Shiao Yi."

Shiao Yi tried to protest, his thoughts spinning in confusion. Why does he like that? Why is he still going? How can he still want more?

But words dissolved into breath and heat, until he could no longer think, only feel.

The night blurred into moments of surrender and stubborn endurance, laughter, tears, soft pleas, and whispered names. Every time Shiao Yi thought it would end, Dominic’s strength proved otherwise. It was too much, too long, almost unbearable, and yet, part of him clung to it.

By the time dawn came, Shiao Yi had no strength left. He was half asleep with his body trembling, and voice barely a whisper.

"Dominic... stop already... I can’t anymore..."

"You can rest," Dominic murmured gently, brushing his hair back.

But even as he said it, he didn’t stop immediately, his body still moved with the same steady rhythm, unstoppable, like a storm that hadn’t yet passed.

Shiao Yi groaned and muttered weakly, "You’re impossible, Dominic... completely impossible..."

Later, when the yellow sun finally rose, Shiao Yi was too tired to move.

He had cried, laughed, and drifted in and out of sleep in his lover’s arms, resigned to the unstoppable energy of the man who refused to let go.

He made a firm promise to himself — never again would he provoke Dominic like that. But deep down, he knew he didn’t even understand what would set him off next time.

...

The next day, they said goodbye to the people of the water village.

The villagers waved warmly as the couple departed.

Shiao Yi sat in front of Dominic on his powerful horse, holding the handles of the special saddle made for two.

Dominic’s arms enclosed him from behind as he took the reins.

It made Shiao Yi feel shy, like a child being protected, but Dominic looked deeply content, smiling as if the world was right. And truthfully, Shiao Yi still hadn’t learned to ride alone.

After a while, Shiao Yi glanced back toward the village.

A thick fog had risen, hiding everything from sight.

It was as if the place had melted back into the wetlands, vanishing into the mist.

That felt right. The people there were simple, kind, and blessed. They were protected by the gods of this world, living beyond the reach of outsiders.

Only those chosen, those permitted, could ever find them.

Dominic spoke softly behind him.

"Let’s keep that village only in our hearts, Shiao Yi."

Shiao Yi nodded, knowing they both felt the same.

With one last look at the misty marshlands and the forest beyond, they turned their horse and rode forward, toward another new land, and whatever awaited them next.
