CHAPTER 83: EXCHANGING EXPERIENCE!
Chapter 83: Exchanging Experience!
Midnight struck, and in a second, all the tables disappeared, and the room’s floor changed to soft ground.
Before people could even begin to understand what was going on, Adam’s voice addressed the bunch.
"Sorry to interrupt you all, dear guests. But I have some important information to tell you." He started.
"Due to the long duration of this gathering, it would be bland to not add any events... And thus, we have brought you a schedule of events that you wouldn’t be able to experience anywhere but here!" Adam, with a slightly excited voice that caught the entire audience’s attention, announced.
A change of light, and people raised their heads to look up at the glass dome that acted as a ceiling.
There, a scroll-like structure with words that could be read wherever and however you looked appeared for people to see.
It had some details about the first event and some hidden descriptions of the next events that had hidden sections, done intentionally to make people try to guess and get excited.
"For the next 7 days, we will follow this very schedule." Waiting for a calculated duration for people’s eyes to land on the first few sections of the schedule.
And the second Adam heard gasps and excited voices, he continued.
"The first 12 hours of this day would be an exchange between all disciples." He said.
"You may get to know each other, share experiences, and speak of anything that might help your circle of friends." This was the first part of the event.
And it was made to make those who had something to share, or for people who wanted to form connections, have an easier time.
And without it having to be said, only those qualified to speak would even be listened to.
And that would either be the core disciples, the official disciples, the inner disciples... or the star of the show, Ken.
It didn’t matter who you went to or listened to, or more like there wasn’t anything specified.
This first 12 hours was just what people were already planning to do, given a name and comfort to do so.
Now that the stage was set, Ken would surely be approached by every disciple from his batch asking him questions and trying their best to get closer to him.
And this would in turn help him... if he knew how to deal with it.
The details would be experienced by all, but what caught their eyes were the next events.
"As for the next event... for the second half of the day..." Tension rose as people awaited the big reveal.
"The inner sect elder, Elder Aristo, will give a lecture for the entire Entertainment Core!" Adam’s voice made the entire room silent.
And out of respect for the sect grounds, no shouts exploded, but anyone with eyes could see the red heads of disciples about to explode in excitement.
Ken almost expected to hear a "Woohoo" from a certain lady, but upon not hearing anything, his confidence in such a thing happening made him turn to look, only to find Lu, in his excitement, was looking up and forgetting all manners to put his hand on Alissa’s mouth.
...
That action was seen as disrespectful towards a lady, but had it not been done... the scene would have been awkward.
But the news was worth this reaction. Even for him especially, it was worth more than any other disciple due to his situation.
They only had lectures from a foundation establishment realm elder every two weeks, and at most they went on for a day or two at the longest.
Yet, people’s progress exploded, and they learned something new every time.
This was with the fact that Elder Caster only spoke about matters relating to the qi refining realm and their commonly practiced techniques.
But Ken, having already mastered the techniques and information he spoke about in the arts, didn’t need those lectures and found himself skipping them sometimes if his hints told him not to go.
Something no other disciple would do.
But an inner sect elder... even a single sentence from that perverted elder would equal three of Elder Caster’s lectures.
12 hours? Just how benevolent was this?
But it didn’t end there. Far from that.
"The next day, official and core disciples would separate into teams to further discuss the matters with you for a total of 6 hours, answering your questions." Adam continued.
"There will then be a pause for those who have matters to attend to, for those who want to feast, and to give time for the next big event!" The second Adam finished his words, and the next section appeared.
"An auction! The grandest auction the Entertainment Core has seen!" Adam, in a cheerful voice, spoke these words once again, causing a wave of excitement.
But this event wasn’t really targeted at Ken’s batch, nor even Lu’s. It was more beneficial to inner sect disciples, core and official disciples, or the outer sect elders.
But the inner sect elders would also use this chance, and Ken guessed that other inner sect elders would appear briefly during this period and leave.
They will exchange treasures and also check Ken for a second, and this was something he had been informed of by providence.
Still, it remained a deduction because he hadn’t specified the exact time they would show up; it could be later for all he knew.
As for the next events, or for the next two days after the auction ends, another elder would give a lecture, then the core and official disciples would show up, the gathering would rest, and another grand event would begin.
An event so grand it made Ken’s heart beat and a smile appear from what it promised...
But its details were yet to be fully revealed.
Not yet; tension had to stay, and the audience’s interest needed to be at an all-time high the entire duration they waited.
And so... the gathering continued.
With Ken being at the very core of a large audience sitting in circles around him.
