Chapter 154: Are You In The Mood Now?
CHAPTER 154: ARE YOU IN THE MOOD NOW?
Temi sat next to the ward bed where Becky was lying.
Becky was awake, her face faint, but there was a trace of relief on it regardless.
After getting the best treatment, the bullet had been removed, and she was now recovering.
Sure, she had reportedly lost a lot of blood after the shot, but well... that wasn’t much of a problem since the highly advanced infirmary had taken care of it, even without involving Temi.
After all, Temi was just a nurse.
She knew nothing about surgeries, but well, she had always been present the whole time.
Even Jayden came over to check up and make sure she was fine, as required, and even now when she was awake, he still showed up with Camilia, Charlotte, and Harper.
They all were there, standing right before Becky, and she looked at their affectionate faces.
"I’m glad you are okay, Becky," Jayden said as he approached her with a smile.
She smiled back. "I’m glad I’m still alive to be with you."
They both chuckled, as he kissed her on her forehead.
Then Camilia approached.
Before she even got close, she already began to sob uncontrollably. Remembering how they tried to save their lives, it was just another super emotional scene for the two.
They couldn’t even say a word, rather they just hugged tightly... Normally, Camilia should be regretting going with her because the job wasn’t actually hers, but she never thought that way.
In fact, she was even glad that she had gone with Becky, because she knew that Becky wouldn’t have survived alone after being shot.
It was certain, and there was no doubt about that.
"Thank you for saving me," Becky said with a soft, sobbing tone, and Camilia did nothing else but nod, giving her another tight hug that reached the extreme of her heart.
As for Harper and Charlotte, they were the main saviors of the attack, and Becky didn’t forget to pay gratitude.
She owed them her life, she would put it that way, because it was indeed true.
"The doctor said she would be discharged in a few days. Five, or perhaps after a whole week. She should be very fine by then," Temi told them.
Jayden had no issues with that. He really wanted her to be completely fine before trying to get on duty again. In fact, he wouldn’t mind if she took a very long break after what had happened.
"I promise to do better when I get back, My Hero," Becky said.
"You have always done better. You have always given your best, which had even led to almost losing your life, Becky. I love you more for that, and you don’t have to worry about anything," Jayden replied.
She nodded with an emotional smile, and soon opened her arms.
Jayden swiftly went forward and gave her a tight hug.
They all had a good time with her before heading back to the villa.
However...
"I’ll stay with her for two more hours. Join you later," Temi told them, and well, Jayden didn’t have a problem with that as well.
At this point, having to leave the island to go on some appointments was dangerous, because they now knew some forces were after them.
Jayden had been trying not to believe it was Sofia, but well, that was where his mind had prioritized.
...
While they drove back to the villa, Jayden and Cammy were in the same car.
"I’m sorry for refusing earlier..."
Jayden had to find the time to apologize, and it was now.
She quickly knew what he meant and heaved a soft sigh. Giving him a stare, she shook her head.
"You don’t have to be sorry. I... I understand. Sometimes, one might not be in the mood," Camilia said.
Jayden nodded.
"Are you in the mood today?"
Suddenly, Camilia asked.
Jayden was struck with a spell of speechlessness immediately after she asked that question. Knowing that the reply might be ugly, he quickly checked her affection stats.
[Affection: 99.9%.]
Jayden’s eyes glinted.
"Uhm..." Before he knew it, he began to stammer.
But he completely knew what this might lead to if he refused. Just yesterday, she caught him making out with Temi, and was also caught with Harper the day before.
If he would refuse her now, wouldn’t it make her feel like he didn’t love her anymore?
Jayden’s heart raced, as her eyes demanded an answer immediately. What he didn’t want was this situation to get uglier after he already tried sorting it out.
Camilia furrowed her brows, demanding.
And then, finally... not knowing what to do anymore, Jayden nodded at her.
"Yes. I am in the mood."
Camilia smiled right on the spot, as she licked her lips, her eyes turning sharp at once.
With a 99.9% affection, doing it with her at this point meant only one thing.
He was cooked.

[A/N: Would you guys want to see Camilia acting like a yandere for a while, or should author just cancel the idea?]

The group settled at their base, all holding their rifles, and they set to go for the journey.
Rhea was closely observing the high-spirited acts from the boys, and even Razer was completely ready, she figured.
"When we go in, make sure to search every room and bring everybody together, to prevent them from calling the cops. Noted?" Razer said.
"Noted!" the boys responded, and Rhea was also in favor of that mastermind plan.
They entered the van they had prepared for the operation and drove on to the Sky Bank. Rhea sat next to Razer at the back seat, and it didn’t take long before he brought up a topic.
"Your sister, how bad is it?" he asked.
Rhea turned to him and frowned, not responding.
"Come on, I’m just trying to be friendly here," Razer said.
"I don’t want to talk about it, boss," Rhea cut in, her voice stern and totally unfriendly.
"Oh, easy. You are smart, but you act like a pussy sometimes," Razer said as he laughed teasingly.
Rhea didn’t respond, as she stared straight.
At that point, she couldn’t wait to reach Sky Bank, get done with the operation, and leave these crazy gangsters for good.
Sure, she now considered herself a bad person after joining them.
All through her life, she had never tried harming anyone, even though her father had taught her how to use a gun when she turned 18.
He was a hunter in the countryside, and Rhea... she had always wanted to be a hunter too.
But she soon realized that being a hunter was a dead dream... the main reason why they left the countryside to pursue modern living.
Now, in just her first operation, she had harmed people.
She remembered clearly. It was her shot that hit Lady Clave on her leg.
That was enough to make her change her point of view on herself, even though she had done that for a significant reason.
...
"We are here!" one of the guys shouted excitedly, turning to the boss.
"Put on your mask," Razer commanded. "We stick with the plan. No one messes around. If anyone plays ugly, shoot to kill."
Rhea suddenly widened her eyes. "No! We can’t kill them."
Razer turned to her and frowned. "What did you say?"
"We... we can just knock them out. Killing them would be a bad idea," Rhea spoke, her voice breaking, but she wasn’t discouraged to speak.
"Messing around with us is a bad idea as well. Let’s just hope they cooperate," Razer said and winked, and then he headed out after putting on his mask.
The group did the same, and Rhea was the last to storm out of the van.
They all had big backpacks hung behind them, as they dashed into the bank at once.
"EVERYONE! ON THE FLOOR!"
"NOW!!!"
The bank suddenly went into a stir at once, as the entire crowd around went lying flat on the floor after sighting the arms held by the robbers.
"If I see anyone move, I swear to God, I will blow your brain off!" one of the robbers said.
Razer then turned to them and gave them the signal.
The plan was to search around every room, and they all went on with it, keeping only one person to keep watch at the receptionist room.
That person was Rhea.
She watched the people shiver on the floor, fearing for their lives.
No one wanted to die of course, and even if it didn’t look like the robbers would kill them, that terrifying aura from the rifles was enough to inflict fear in them.
An M-80 is a demon of death.
Rhea was just calm, securing the area and trying her best to keep the people from panicking.
However, in a moment, it felt like she wasn’t doing enough, as one man suddenly stood up and attempted to run out of the building.
How stupid?
But... Rhea had pointed her gun at him, but suddenly lost the urge to shoot.
Noticing that, the rest of the people began to stand, as they attempted to run as well.
She was there, not knowing what to do, not wanting to kill these innocent people. Not wanting to have people’s blood on her hands.
But then...
DAK-DAK-DAK!
DAK-DAK-DAK-DAK-DAK!
DAK-DAK-DAK-DAK-DAK-DAK-DAK!
Razer had returned just in time, as a bloody massacre began.
Countless bodies fell to the floor, lifeless. And it only explained one thing.
These people refused to cooperate, and they lost their lives for it.
