Infinite Wealth System: Crazy Tasks, Insane Rewards!
Chapter 155: Rhea (III)
CHAPTER 155: RHEA (III)
Rhea was completely dumbfounded, watching people fall one after the other, losing their lives on the spot.
The more he shot, the more people attempted to run, completely terrified, and they continued to die due to their fear...
Their fears killed them.
DAK-DAK-DAK-DAK-DAK-DAK-DAK!
DAK-DAK-DAK-DAK-DAK-DAK-DAK!
"Stop!"
"Stop!"
Rhea shouted towards Razer, however, it wasn’t as if he was hearing her at all.
He actually wasn’t, and things continued to get ugly.
Knowing that it would continue to go that way until he killed every single one of them, Rhea quickly turned to them and shouted.
"Stop running and lie! You all will die if you run!"
Well, some seemed to have heard what she said, but the majority didn’t, as some had even reached the exit and were about to make that final attempt before they had bullets crushing into their skulls, dead.
Rhea could count... Four.
Only four obeyed her and lived, but they were all traumatically down, even a real adult man was crying hard like a baby, fearing for his life and crying for the others who had lost their own lives.
Rhea couldn’t help but break down.
This was the darkest event she had ever experienced in her entire life.
"I said it... You cooperate, you live. You mess up, you die," Razer said with a casual tone and licked his lips.
"They were scared!" Rhea suddenly shouted, glaring at Razer.
"Come on, Smarthead. Didn’t they watch heist movies on Netflix? Didn’t they see how the people in the back lay on the floor and let the robbers do their job?" Razer asked, his voice stern but his face was rather calm.
Rhea couldn’t even utter another word, watching him speak.
"They decided to do the rough things because they think this is reality..." Razer chuckled.
"Well, sometimes, we get to see the fantasy in reality, and we have to play the same way for both."
With that, Razer gave a rough sigh and moved away from her, approaching the young lady who had died by the side of the door.
Not wanting to make people notice that something was going on, they would have to remove the dead bodies from the exit view, as the rest of the gang gathered the money in the vault.
"Won’t mind helping me here?" Razer asked with a smile.
Rhea hesitated, her hands shivering as she observed the mess in front of her.
’All this to save my sister?’ She asked herself, completely troubled.
She couldn’t even get herself together to believe this, because indirectly, their blood was on her hands because she was part of this.
Rhea then decided to join Razer as they kept the bodies by the side.
Streams of blood flowed around, and it didn’t even make Razer flinch for a second... The man was so pleased to have done it, as expected from him.
Razer was that kind of guy...
That kind of murderer who didn’t feel a thing for the people he hurt.
"Crab knows how to break through a vault. They will be done soon, and we will all be insanely rich in an hour," Razer said.
Rhea still didn’t respond, her eyes faint as she was more focused on the lifeless bodies.
However, that didn’t mean she wasn’t hearing what he was saying.
"Soon, you will be able to pay your sister’s bills, and there will be much more left. You will buy a house and a nice car, won’t you?" Razer asked. "And you will live life just the way you want with your sister afterwards. Free, happy, rich... Huh?"
Rhea frowned at him, but still didn’t respond.
But Razer just wouldn’t stop talking.
"I was thinking... Maybe you should join us. Officially, after we get this done. We go on more robberies, more interesting missions, you know? Or maybe... Just maybe you can be my girl huh?"
"I would love to have a taste of that stuff you’ve got down there, you know? You are quite a pretty one, Smarthead," Razer spoke.
This particular statement made Rhea’s heart skip, yet she still didn’t say anything. Just full-eyed on the job, and wouldn’t even look up.
"That’s a ’no’ right? Yeah, I expected as much," Razer chuckled.
"You won’t want to be with a guy like me. The killer. I kill people like they are ants... Well, that’s right. I kill weak people, because they don’t deserve to live," he said with a serious tone and stared right at her in the eye.
Rhea was still calm and collected, but her mind was reacting the direct opposite way.
"Well, if you wouldn’t consider my offer. I guess today might be the last day we see each other again. You will despise the very day you joined this gang just to save your sister... But let’s see..."
"Let’s see how this ends."
Thud!
With a drop of the last corpse on the side, Razer glared at her and walked away towards the vault.
Rhea kept watch on the surviving four, observing how they shivered and sobbed, which made her completely emotional at that point.
...
Within minutes, the boys dashed out of the vault with all bags filled with money.
Rhea’s bag was completely filled as well, as they handed it over.
"Now let’s get the hell outta here!" Razer said as he made his way forward, and immediately opened the gliding doors.
The group stormed out and made their way into the van.
Razer went in.
Bob went in.
Rhea went in.
Sickle went in.
And when it was time for Crab to jump in.
TARR!
A sudden gunshot hit his chest, and he fell right on the spot.
TARR! TARR! TARR! TARR!
More gunshots rained towards them, and they had no choice but to leave Crab behind and zoom off.
They heard sirens from behind, and it was just a single cop car and two cops who had tried to attack them.
They zoomed fast enough that the cars wouldn’t catch up, and appeared completely untraceable, because just two cops couldn’t do the job.
The bank was far on the extreme of the city, with little policing abundance, and that... That had led to a successful operation for them.
"Woohoo!!! We are rich!!!"
"Play me a damn song now, Bob!" Razer shouted.
They all turned to him with a glare.
Crab had just lost his life minutes ago, and he was so quick to celebrate?
"What?" He asked, noticing the indifferent looks on their faces.
"Well, if you aren’t gonna play it. I will," Razer said as he moved ahead and played the song.
"Money in the bag, we riding through the night,
Laughing at the sirens, they can’t catch this flight. Stacking up the paper, fortune on my side, I’m the king of the city with my gang in the ride."
"Mask on my face, no fear in my chest. Kicked in the doors, put the bank to the test. Gold on my wrist, bullets in the chrome, now the cash in my hands feel like takin’ the throne."
"Money in the bag, we ridin’ through the night,
Laughing at the sirens, they can’t catch this flight. Stackin’ up the paper, fortune on my side, I’m the king of the city with my gang in the ride."
"Smoking victory, engine start to roar,
Life’s a gamble, but I always want more. Police in the mirror, but they far behind,
’Cause a robber with a crown’s got a dangerous mind."
"Count it up, count it up, bills in the sky,
If crime is a sin, I was born to defy. Champagne dreams, while the city burns slow. Tell the world we ain’t stoppin’, now the empire grows."
"Money in the bag, we ridin’ through the night,
Laughing at the sirens, they can’t catch this flight."
"Stacking up the paper, fortune on my side,
I’m the king of the city with my gang in the ride."
Rhea and the rest could only watch him sing, throwing looks of disgust. He noticed them but didn’t care.
The case was clear.
Whatever they thought about him, he was still their boss, and he would continue to be.
The moment they tried anything stupid, it might never end funny, because they knew the kind of person he was.
Razer was not someone to be messed with.
Soon, they would be reaching the base, and it didn’t seem like there was anyone coming after them.
This made Rhea more relieved, as she couldn’t wait to get the money and leave for good.
However, just then...
BOOM!
They didn’t even know how, but a blast came, hitting their van before they could realize it.
The van was completely blown away, somersaulting four times over and crashing into the woods at the side of the road.
Above was a helicopter, the real cause of this move, and on it were two smart pilots, two armed men, and a young lady who smiled at the disaster she had just made.
"Done, Charlotte... What else to do? This is fun," she said with an excited smile.
"Nothing else, Hero Harper. Good job. Please come home."
Harper chuckled. "Not after I confirm if they are all dead."
