CHAPTER 175: AGGRESSION-FUELED ORDER

It hit the world by surprise after the news of the Icelandian Satellite System being hacked spread across the globe, and they learned that it was the Nortasians that had carried out the unbelievable mission.

Not just their weapon satellite networks were deactivated, but their basic networks as well.

Phone networks, TV networks, even news... Icelandia was completely restricted from technology from that moment on, and it didn’t take long before the country began to feel the heat of what they had started.

Nortasia sent back a message, a heavy one, and it didn’t seem like it was the end.

For them to have hacked the Icelandian Satellite Systems... There surely must be more to that.

...

President Liam Thompson was both angered and frustrated... Now that the Satellite System was hacked, it was clear that his nation was in big trouble, but he happened not to have known how much.

A man walked into his office.

"Mister President..."

"What?!!! I thought I asked to be left alone?!" he asked in a bellow, his eyes burning harsh with anger.

"President Boski and President Ruiz are here," the man said anyway.

"Good, let them in. I’m going nuts in here," he said as he placed his hand on his forehead.

Within a few moments, the two presidents walked in a rush, their faces tense and sharp, and the beginning of their discussion started right before they even took a seat.

"What am I hearing? Is this a dream or something?" President Boski asked, his face still indicating that he was refusing to believe it.

"The Satellite System? How??? That was one of the most impossible things to access. How could they have managed to do that?" President Ruiz asked.

"I still can’t believe it myself. I’m stunned beyond measure at this point. I have pinched myself several times, hoping that this is a dream. But it’s not. It’s actually real, and Icelandia is in grave trouble," President Liam said.

"Don’t you think someone must have helped them? I mean, the Icelandian Defence Unit is one of the most secure places in the world. How the heck did only two people access the entrance without getting caught? Something must be wrong somewhere," President Ruiz spoke.

"I think I would have to agree with you, President Ruiz. If they really had entered that place without being sighted or noticed, then they must have had help. There is nothing more to say," President Boski agreed.

President Liam only stayed silent and listened to their talks for a while, but he still couldn’t even get himself to mix up with the conversation.

All he had in his mind was "revenge," "destroy," "kill."

He was starting to grasp that he had to destroy the entire Nortasia once and for all, because that would be the only way to stop them from continuing to use the Satellite System against them.

The last thing President Liam wanted was for Nortasia to end up defeating him... That would mean he was defeated by a small nation that just rose from nowhere, with a president the same age as his son.

"So, what do we do?" President Boski asked him.

"They are going to continue intimidating the country if we don’t do something about it, and... I... I don’t think it would be that easy to get the passcode back," President Ruiz added.

"Then we destroy them," President Liam cut in.

They both gave him a sharp nod.

"If they really think hacking the Icelandian Satellite System would ensure their victory, then they will kiss death right before they make any move with it. I will destroy them all... Just the way I destroyed the other nations that challenged me."

"Nortasia has gone beyond challenging me. They pulled my legs, and I’m not going to show them mercy. They are not part of the Independent Society. They are alone, weak... No one would come to their aid," President Liam spoke.

That decision from him was truly what President Boski and President Ruiz wanted to hear. They truly wanted the case to end at once, and that would only happen once Nortasia was wiped out.

That way, Icelandia would inflict more fear on the countries that tried to stand against them, and they would have no choice but to honor the deal when joining the Alliance.

It wasn’t only due to friendship that President Boski and President Ruiz were standing with the decisions of the President of Icelandia, it was because they were greatly benefiting from it, and their countries were clearly next in the rankings after Icelandia.

In this world where power and defence are the source of superiority, things like this are widely cultured, and in the end, it looks like there are no more goods and bads.

Everything they do now was for the sake of defence... And money. Enough money leads to powerful defence, literally.

After their short meeting, Liam made his move, fearing that the more moments he waited, the more Jayden Cole had the space to plan against them.

With the anger boiling inside his heart, he took a call and gave orders after orders.

"Capture the Defence Unit Security Commander’s family. Every one of them. I want them lifeless within an hour. That’s an order."

"Notify the soldiers, tell them to get ready for war. Nortasia must not be on the map in the next forty-eight hours," he stated.

Then the final order.

"Launch the toughest missiles we’ve got. Target six states with crucial economic importance to the country. Don’t hesitate. This is our retaliation for what they have done. We are showing no mercy."

With that order, the chaos began to stir...

War was coming, and it was coming with full force.

******

(Missile Station, Secon, Icelandia).

"Load!"

"Trigger..."

A middle-aged commander was standing at the top of a platform, ordering the shooters launching the missiles at the base.

He paused for a few seconds, and then thrust his arms for the last, final order.

"Launch!!!"

BOOOOM!

The crazy takeoff sound of the missile hit the area, as they watched it soar towards the south from the distance.

It only took a moment before it disappeared, all six of them, and the commander gave a wry smile.

(45 minutes later).

They saw the very same missile they had launched, one of them, coming right at them.

It was too fast... And too late for them.

In a moment, the entire Missile Station and the towns surrounding the massive desert got hit by the wrath of their own attack.

Meanwhile...

"One redirected back to the source... Five more!"

Harper watched the map with a wicked, sharp smile.
