Out of courtesy, Jonas stood up, extended his hand, and shook the hand Tony enthusiastically offered.

Tony laughed heartily, grasping Jonas’s hand with both hands and shaking it vigorously, his eyes practically conveying familial affection.

Jonas withdrew his hand and asked indifferently, "Mr. Tony, what brings you here? And how did you find my house?"

Previously, this headhunter had shown no respect to him, so Jonas felt no need to be polite either.

However, Tony didn’t show any dissatisfaction with Jonas’s attitude; he continued to smile, "Mr. Jonas, I’ve come specifically to bring you great news!"

As Tony spoke, his face beamed with excitement.

Jonas looked at him suspiciously.

Bai Xiaosheng also watched him with a half-smile.

Lai Yin, however, was visibly impatient, having an instinctive dislike for this guy who interrupted his conversation with Bai Xiaosheng.

Tony’s smile was filled with enthusiasm, "Mr. Jonas, don’t you want to return to the workplace? Back then, I truly didn’t have a suitable position for you. You see, you were once a vice president in a Fortune 500 company! That’s years of experience, years of accumulated success, and I couldn’t just find you a random position. While speaking, Tony glanced at Mrs. Jonas, hoping for support.

Without waiting for Jonas to reply, Tony urgently asked, "What kind of job did you find?"

Jonas’s expression turned icy.

"What job it is, Mr. Tony needn’t be concerned." Jonas replied flatly, "If there’s nothing else, I won’t keep you."

Facing Jonas’s repeat dismissal notice, Tony seemed unable to understand, showing no intent to leave. Instead, he urged, "Mr. Jonas, the position I found for you is vice president in a Fortune 500 company—a vice president! It’s not some mediocre job, you should think clearly!"

Tony still refused to leave, even implicitly suggesting that the position Bai Xiaosheng found for Jonas was worthless.

Jonas’s expression darkened further.
