CHAPTER 575: CHAPTER 575 - NEW FAMILY MEMBERS (PART 1)

After all the teary and cheesy drama between Artak and I, I carried my still weak and crybaby husband to the shower to scrub him clean and of course, tease him a bit more. He just pouted at me the whole time while we were in the bathroom but he still let me touch him here and there just as obedient as he was from our first night together. In exchange for teasing him, I shared my senses with him so he can see the babies and confirm their existence. Well, he cried again due to happiness.

His heat has finally started to die down after a day and a half of rolling between the sheets with me. It was honestly kind of addicting though so we just continued at it for half a day more. I made sure to feed him some snacks and some water from time to time or else he won’t get through my boundless energy unharmed.

Since it is almost morning, I prepared and fed him a scrumptious breakfast to make up for all the times that we only ate snacks during the last two days. He have proved to me once more that he is really pregnant when he quickly ate five portions of food in one go during the meal.

With how things are, I may need to earn even more money or maybe start a huge farm area in the world tree realm. My husbands on this side of the family are big eaters. Even Marius ate like he was always in an eat-all-you-can seafood buffet and he only has two baby fishies inside him. I wonder how big the appetite would be for the ones that have 6 in one litter.

After meeting and having a meal with the other fiancés, I bid them goodbye and told them that I have to go back to Tadhana. This time, I will be bringing Artak with me as well since he will be staying in his permanent home there from now on.

Artak and I teleported out of Marahuyo a little later after we ate lunch with everybody. I chose our teleportation destination to the the central area of the world tree realm instead of Laerad’s personal realm since I am trying to avoid meeting him for now.

From there, I teleported towards Tadhana’s central area. The other people living in here came out almost immediately upon sensing my arrival. I made sure to introduce my new husband to the other mystique husbands that are now staying here. The population of this place is still small since only Makisig, Vaelion, Reiss and Marius live here. I also introduced my father-in-law Dakila (Makisig’s father) who also lives here to oversee everybody’s needs

as an elder here.

After the short meet and greet, I gave Artak a tour and had him choose the house that he wanted to claim as his own from now on. I have already built a lot of ready-made huts in this place but the inside would be customized based on the owner’s preference. In short, the husbands can design it the way they want to. They just have to tell me what they want to put inside it, things that they wanted to change or build and even the color schemes they prefer.

After Artak has been settled in to his new house, I decided to stay inside Makisig’s home to accompany him in the last few days before he gives birth. I could have stayed in Marahuyo to consummate with another fiancé but I found out that there are several ways to burn my excess "heat" energy.

The first one is to consummate with a husband or fiancé until they get pregnant. It seems that the excess energy decreases whenever I change a man from fiancé to husband status in my family. It confirmed my previous guess that the increase in energy was also due to the the sudden increase of men that I promised to marry.

The next one is to use the excess energy to feed my own unborn children. I simply need to be in close proximity with a pregnant husband or have some physical contact with an already pregnant husband. It doesn’t have to be the "deed’ since the children automatically absorbs energy from me if I am near their fathers.

I have been constantly providing the same amount of my mana and essence to the room of beginnings for milk creation. The problem was I still have a ton of excess energy as an after effect of receiving 12 fiancés at the same time. I have already guessed that the only way to normalize my body iss to accepted all of them officially.

Ugh. Why do I feel that the matchmaking deities of this world is messing up with me again?

The next days were peaceful and I chose to not leave the confines of my personal realm, Tadhana after my return. I stayed with Makisig in the evenings but I made sure to give attention to my other pregnant husbands in the realm during the day time. They can all help me reduce my excess energy just by proximity anyways and together with me sending my daily quota for milk production, I am doing just fine even with no nightly activities.

After a few days, right in the wee hours of the 4th day from the time I started staying in Tadhana, I felt Makisig gripping my waist tight, his body shivering as he weakly said, "Wife... I think they are coming out."

I did not hear it at first but when I saw his pale countenance and him sweating a lot, what he said weakly finally registered in my sleepy brain and I realized he was in pain. I immediately sent a message to my father through telepathy and shouted for my father-in-law who was just in a nearby hut to come and help.

While waiting for my two helpers, I immediately started soothing the pain that Makisig is feeling by constantly providing him my mana and healing spells which successfully returned some color to his face. The mana as per my father teachings, soothes the children and stops them from fussing too much thus sparing the father from the pain and discomfort. The two elders I called for did not take long to heed my calls and they appeared one after the other within just 5 minutes carrying all sorts of stuff for the babies and the father in labor.

I am still new in helping out my husbands during childbirth since this is only my second time. Ioannis was different since his body is still half human. The amount of energy to assist him is relatively low since his body won’t be able to take too much mystique mana and there was even a high risk of combustion as per my father. It is a good thing that I learned quite fast so I have already learned what I needed from my father before so assisting the next deified human births would be easier.

This is my second time assisting a child’s birth but at the same time, it is also the first time for me to assist with a mystique husband giving birth so I have to clearly observe and take note of the differences and amount of energy needed so the next ones will be easier to complete. Though my father demands that I would still call him every time even if it is already the 100th birth. Does he expect me to double the population of this world?

Once my father and my father-in-law are inside the hut, we started the process. My father-in-law shared his experiences and how the child birth was done for the giants as he has also experienced it once himself. He also shared that he has assisted in the births for other fathers in their tribe. He was trying to calm himself but he can’t hide the worry and fear that he was feeling for his only son’s life.

After my father-in-law explained the process, I think that it was still somewhat similar to how we did it with my first deified husband. The only difference is that since the bodies of giants has a bigger maximum size when they grow up and they are stronger from birth, the amount of energy I needed to give them to support their potential growth is massive compared to what I used before. It was at least three times and there are two babies.

Though the need was higher, It did not strain my mana pool that much especially since the burden was divided between three people. I noticed though that the children did not move an inch when the mana that touched them was from their grandfathers and they even became more fussy making Makisig grunt from pain. When I tried providing mine, they calmed down a lot and cooperated more to come out of their father’s womb.

I couldn’t help but make an assumption that this maybe the source of the ongoing issue of high mortality during childbirth. No wonder, it was so hard and painful for most men to give birth that they and even the child end up dying. It may all be due to the fact that if the unborn child’s mother was always absent or did not want to do anything with the birthing process, it makes everything almost impossible for the father to bear.
