Inheriting a Lost Bloodline, My First Task is to have heirs?!

CHAPTER 576: CHAPTER 576 - NEW FAMILY MEMBERS (PART 2)
With this first childbirth for the mystique race, this made me realize one more important thing and that is the need to have someone to call on from each race (in addition to my father) when it is time for one of my husbands to give birth so me and my father can be guided closely. It will make the process a lot smoother, quicker and pain-free for my men as much as possible. This is one of the ways that I could take care of them too.
After I supplied the mana required into Makisig’s body, the first of the twins finally came out. The first that came out was the little boy. I gave my son to my father but did not stop supplying mana. Barely 2 minutes after the boy came out, my little girl was also born. I gave her to my father-in-law for check up.
The two grandfathers each started to tend to each child happily while I chose to take care of my husband and heal him up first. I gave him potions and also casted layers of healing spells to ensure that he can recuperate soon.
Makisig fell asleep right after the last of the twins came out. During the birth, I noticed that Makisig was exerting his limited mana to help soothe the children even though he was already feeling weak. I did not advise him against doing it since I won’t be able to dissuade a worried father to care for his children. He could have clearly used the mana to soothe himself but instead since he valued the children’s comfort more, he used it on them.
The children eventually cried loud and the two grandfathers started feeding them with the milk that was previously prepared through the room of beginnings. The feeding calmed down the two gluttons quickly. I honestly made sure to prepare a lot since giants could surely eat a lot and I don’t want their cries to make their father worry since he was to focus on recuperating instead.
I casted a cleaning spell on Makisig and also changed his clothes as gently as I can. I then laid on the bed next to him and hugged the sleeping guy to share my faster recovery rates with him through skin contact. The babies were placed in the prepared cribs next to Makisig’s bed and the grandfathers will watch over them for now.
It took a few hours before Makisig woke up and when he did, he sat up abruptly from the bed. He then used his hands to touch and feel his stomach as if he was looking for something. I hugged him from behind which made him flinch then that was the only time he realized that I was laying beside him and that he wasn’t alone.
The first thing he asked me was, "Where are the children? Was that all just a dream?"
I nodded towards the direction of the cribs and he followed the place where I was looking at. He finally saw the two children sleeping soundly with round bellies, all full and contented.
I saw how his eyes widened, softened at the sight of them and then turned misty. He then hurriedly tried to get out of bed so I assisted him in standing up and walking since he still felt a bit dizzy and weak.
I thought he would immediately hug them or carry them in his arms but when we finally got near the cribs, he did not have the heart to dare touch the children for now since he does not want to wake them up. He simply stared at them lovingly with a smile on his face.
After having his fill of looking at the children’s faces for several minutes, he slowly turned his head towards me and said, "I don’t remember much about how everything happened after the first excruciating pain hit me. My head felt a bit fuzzy but I knew at that instant that I was about to give birth. The last thing I remembered was the pain subsiding gradually while I was just staring at your face. I honestly thought that I was dying at that point then afterwards it felt really light as if I was being lulled gently to sleep. Was childbirth supposed to be that quick and comfortable?"
I smiled at him, shook my head and replied, "I don’t think it was supposed to be this way. As for the whole experience, I think this will only be exclusive for my husbands or if my assumption is right, for all men that are accompanied by their wives while they are giving birth. As I said, this is just an assumption since I still have to confirm it and I need more research data. I have only ever seen two births so far. I should be able to be able to confirm it once Vaelion and Reiss gives birth too in the following weeks."
He did not comment on my answer and simply turned his head to look back at the sleeping babies while smiling at them again. He then whispered, "If having babies would be this easy and comfortable, I don’t mind giving birth a few more times."
I chuckled next to him and replied, "I will definitely hold your word on that."
Makisig whipped his head towards my direction with widened eyes, his face was now blushing as he asked, "Di- Di- Did I just say that out loud?"
I smiled at him sweetly and instead of responding directly to his question, I also spoke out my thoughts out loud as I said, "Hmm... We could have another set of twins after a year if possible. Or... do you want it to be two years or perhaps three?"
He looked at me blankly and answered with a weak voice, "Two- Two years would be fine. I feel like it would take every bit of me to raise these duo. Most likely, they will be as naughty as you." He then sighed and rolled his eyes at me.
Not wanting to be one upped, I whispered back, "Oh, for sure. Make that double. You are very naughty boy too. Who would have thought that in this life, I will get to experience doing it in public, in the middle of a forest and even submerged in a lake at that."
His looked back at me with widened eyes as he pinched my arm and said in a annoyed whisper, "You... Shut up! The children may hear you. You know that they’re smart and might understand what you are saying!" I just laughed and said, "My bad".
I totally forgot that my children are indeed smart and could understand complicated things way before kids of the same age. Well, I wonder how Makisig will answer the twins in the future if they start to ask questions on how children are born or to be exact, how they came to be in this world.
After a few more minutes, Makisig felt tired standing up so he requested for us to come back to the bed. I did not want to waste time so I carried him back to the bed which he hated by the way. He said that the princess carry was only applicable to the thin and small bodied husbands that I have but it looked weird, even ugly when I apply the same idea to him.
I giggled and I teased him, "You are not heavy at all and you will always be my little princess no matter how many other princesses you give birth to in the future." His face blushed and looked away but it did make him stop with his complaining.
Once we are back on the bed, I advised him to take a nap for now while the children are asleep. I reminded him that he will need all the energy he can get since his task in rearing the children has just begun. I also told him that we will talk about and decide about the children’s names when he wakes up.
He obediently closed his eyes and it did not take long before his calm breathing started which means he fell asleep again. I laid next to him while watching him and the two babies sleep.
While Makisig was sleeping, the children woke up a few times since they were hungry. I have used those brief moments and made sure to have my serious conversations with the children. I reminded them that they have to be always obedient to their father and not tire him too much.
I never told Makisig about it but the kids are indeed very smart. I have been communicating with them from the time they were formed in their father’s womb. I got the duo’s agreements quite easily since they understood who would be with them most of the time and who holds the milk storage.
During these conversations, I have also fed them too until their bellies are round and full. They eventually felt sleep again after filling their stomachs. As for Makisig, he woke up after several hours when the Soleia is already high up in the sky.
