CHAPTER 579: CHAPTER 579 - A SHORT BREAK IN BETWEEN BIRTHS (2)

Artak honestly told me that from a young age, he loved making wood carvings. It was just that after he grew up, had responsibilities then afterwards stuck in the forsaken village, there wasn’t a chance anymore to do it.

Now that he was safe and he doesn’t have to worry about food, he wanted to return to his hobby and make something out of it. I offered to give him carving tools but he chuckled and said that he simply uses his nails to carve. By using his nails, he sharpens them too.

As for me, I just enjoyed the scenery, the fresh air and just the chill of it all. I spent my time harvesting some fruits and berries from the plants I transplanted here from the world tree realm. This private space is similar to how an hacienda is like with a mix of plants, smaller homes and one huge mansion in the center which belongs to me.

Besides staying with one particular husband in the evenings, I equally spent my time with all the husbands in Tadhana. I also played and helped in taking care of the twins. I also cooked meals that we all shared together in the main mansion.

In the daytime, I also taught the husbands some pointers on their chosen hobbies since I have the knowledge of all types of professions. The husbands happily applied my tips and loved the fact that they have a chance to even get better in their crafts each day.

I also spent some time helping Marius customize his home. His requests were endless but not impossible to complete. He said that he wanted an underwater home so I thought it would look like how ocean-themed parks are made in the modern world.

Contrary to my idea that merfolks only live in the ocean, in this world, they can live in any body of water and can adapt easily regardless of their original habitat. Marius might have been born and lived in the deepl oceans all his life but he can thrive just as well in a deep river or lake if he opted to transfer his home.

Since the space was limited, he requested that I make a lake just for him and his home be constructed under it. And so, fulfilling the promise that they can have the home of their dreams, this doting wife made a lake, an access from the surface in the form of a floating gazebo in the middle of the said, an elevator like thing from that gazebo down to the house and an underwater hut enchanted with a space spell that looks like a huge bungalow inside. The construction itself took a lot of mana and time but well, as long as he is happy.

Other activities that my husbands liked to do is visiting the communities that they belong to every few days. The trio of Makisig, Vaelion and Reiss do have friends and family members who are living in their respective areas in the World Tree Realm anyways. They scheduled it on separate days so that I can accompany each of them on their little excursion.

During the short break after my new set of twins’ were, Laerad eventually was the first to give up on our little cold war. He visited Tadhana and requested some time to talk to me at the main mansion which I readily agreed to.

I invited him inside my villa and offered some snacks. I can feel him staring intently at me while I am preparing the refreshments though he isn’t saying anything.

After preparing the food, I sat across from where Laerad was sitting and simply looked at him. He sighed and asked, "Are you Ngry at me?"

With a blank face, I replied, "No. I think you are the one who’s angry at me since you told me to leave and find somebody else to spend my energy on."

Laerad looked at me wide-eyed, his mouth slightly opened in surprise. Before he can recover and speak again, I added, "Since that was the case, I looked for willing husbands who will help me get rid of some of my energy. Oh, I got another beastman pregnant too. I brought him here."

After recovering from the shock, he immediately asked, "Were you staying in the be human realm all this time?"

I shook my head and replied, "No. I stayed with Ioannis first. I went to the human realm and stayed in Sklavryet since I have some people there. Then, I thought since I still have some energy, why not choose one of my fiancés in Marahuyo to spend some time with. Honestly, that option is less tedious than looking for a new man."

Laerad looked at me with a glare then responded, "You took home a man? But, that doesn’t explain why you never visited me when you came back."

I looked at him in amusement and responded, " Have you forgotten that you said that I should stay out of your area and find somebody else to use my excess energy with? I am just doing as you said."

Laerad’s eyes changed from a glare to one of realization then one of annoyance. Before he can complain further, I stood up and told him that I need to cook since it is almost dinner. I turned around and murmured that my men in Tadhana should be hungry by now.

He gasped and complained, "What about me?" I replied with a similar question in a nonchalant tone, "What about you?"

I continued walking away and told him, "Vaelion is about to give birth. He need nutrition and my presence. I already spent a lot of time with you before but you seemed to have gotten tired of me so I made myself scarce."

I heard Laerad stuttering behind me, trying to respond, "You- You- I should be the angry one here!"

I chuckled and responded, "I am not angry. I’m just stating facts. What you said was true. I have other men so I won’t pester you anymore since you are busy with "work"."
