CHAPTER 587: CHAPTER 587 - A PLEASANT SURPRISE FOR REISS

During the serene breakfast, a huge group suddenly appeared at the plaza in the middle of Tadhana through teleportation. There was a total of 12 beings that appeared which included the Elder Yoffir and also the 11 other men who were childhood friends with Reiss, the men whom he has treated as his brothers after being with each other through thick and thin.

They all looked around in wonder, admiring the separate realm that they have visited for the first time. Surprisingly, none of them left the perimeter of the plaza without me fetching them proving that they are all polite and well-mannered at least. Well, honestly, it is not surprising for the 11 men to act like this but it was unexpected for Yoffir who was always doing whatever he wanted like he owned everything around him.

All of us in the dining hall immediately felt the arrival of the huge group of varying mana signatures. My husbands all looked towards the direction of the plaza at the same time in confusion.

I stood up from my seat and the others followed suit, obviously curious as to who arrived so early in the morning. They all followed me, walking right behind me like I am some mother duck and they were a bunch of ducklings.

It took several minutes before we reached the plaza since I kind of walked leisurely and it is not like the men behind me can walk that fast with the children in their arms and the other having pregnant bellies and all. When we reached the plaza and the beings saw me approaching, that was the only time that the group left the plaza perimeter and walked towards the area I am at to pay their respects.

Reiss looked absent-minded at first but then when he was only a few meters from the group, his face scrunched up and he looked like he was about to cry. He was met with a big group hug from his group of childhood friends that he had not seen for months. Yoffir was just observing around and was not saying anything at that time. He respectfully nodded once towards me but he did not ask or say anything. He already knows the reason why he is here so there is no need for any further conversation.

I invited everyone to have a meal first at the dining hall before any further tasks can be completed. At first it was a bit awkward for some of them as the childhood friends were chatting happily. Makisig, Vaelion, Marius, Artak, my two fathers-in-law and Yoffir were just eating silently and observing around them amidst the noisy and excited chatter of the others.

After everyone is full, I coughed to get everyone’s attention and announced the changes I have decided to do in Tadhana. I announced that Yoffir will only stay temporarily as he would help out with Reiss as he gives birth while the other 11 will be living in Tadhana from here on out.

This news surprised the others while Reiss was very happy with this decision. Before anybody can start complaining, I told everyone that the reason for this decision was to ensure that Tadhana can run properly with all the babysitting, maintaining the plants and production of items that can be sold outside. I already took care of maintaining the cleanliness using spells.

The 11 childhood friends decided to just pick one house and design it like a boarding house. Almost all the areas inside the house will be shared amongst everyone except the bathroom and the rooms themselves. The living room, kitchen, dining area and other areas will be common areas.

After hearing their plans, I looked at each of them will a smirk on my face and left a side comment to tease them. I mumbled my teasing statement but it was still loud enough for everyone to hear as I said that it would be hard to make babies in a boarding house setup. They all looked my way almost at the same time and speechlessly stared at me, their faces red from embarassment. I simply walked away chuckling after saying that shameless line, of course.

It is totally fine for me if they like that boarding house type of living arrangement since they all know each other anyways. It is not like I would really sneak into their rooms to get them pregnant right now. In the future, in case I decide to have babies with them, they can just pick their own individual homes when that time comes.

As of now, the boarding house has a total of 20 rooms with each room having a double bed for comfort. They did some brainstorming on how it would be designed while Yoffir simply observed his previous students and just waited to be assigned a room for his temporary residence.

After they have finalized the plans, I helped them making the design a reality using my mana to tinker the interior of their chosen home. My husbands have returned to the dining hall to continue their meals while Reiss stayed next to me, looking over his friends.

It took barely half an hour to finish the interior designing. Once it was done, everybody went back to their designated houses to arrange their stuff and get used to their new homes. I came back with Reiss to his assigned home to spend the rest of the day with him.

Inside the house, since he can’t do backyard and front yard gardening as of the moment, he carried in smaller pots he can use to plant seeds to sprout them. He said that he is making some type of a nursery for later planting outside when he is able to do so again. I let him do it since it will ensure that he isn’t overthinking about his pregnancy and also to avoid him feeling bored.

I moved to the living room to read some documents while he stayed in the kitchen area to work on his little nursery pots since he needs water to prepare the soil and the seeds. Not even a quarter of an hour has passed when I heard a pained groan from the kitchen which surprised me into hurrying over to where Reiss is.
