CHAPTER 592: CHAPTER 592 - A HAPPY VACATION (PART 2)

After entrusting Ioannis and the twins in the Marquessate of Larkspur, I decided to sneak back to the human realm for some important errands. I did make sure to change my appearance and stay away from the area of the academe so as not to be detected by certain people.

The first thing I did was to visit and stay inside the royal palace for a few days so that I can spend time with my five men who were as busy as I am with all their official tasks from the palace. They were also dutifully managing the businesses I have assigned to them which were partnerships with their fathers back in their birth places.

After spending some time with each of my 5 husbands in the palace equally, I dropped by the Moonlight Block to fetch Kayden and my father-in-law since it was now time to bring them to Eieneos with Kayden’s pregnancy on its last month. I also made sure that there will be people to take care of the business while the duo was away. The brunt of the work will then be divided between Lark, Izuku, Feivel, Yijing, Dongmin and Uncle Daejung for now.

After bringing Kayden and my father-in-law to Eieneos and settling them comfortably there. I went back to the human realm once more. This time to fetch Dimitri who also has approximately one month remaining before he gives birth with only a week in between with Kayden.

My grandparents-in-law opted to stay back at the Vacarro estate for now to manage the hacienda and it hundreds of workers. I promised to fetch both of them immediately once it was time for Dimitri to give birth so they can support their grandson who is a first time father and witness the birth of their great grandchildren as well.

After settling Dimitri back in Eieneos with my parents, I finally went back to the Marquessate of Larkspur to fetch Ioannis, Ianthe and Iosef then I brought them back to the palace. Ioannis was quite surprised when he saw the two new people staying in the palace.

He looked at me, not with a glare but more of confusion. I silently pointed at the stomachs of Kaden and Dimitri then his eyes widened in realization. He looked back at each man’s face and then on their stomachs. He must have lost track of time due to the time difference between realms.

He then looked back at me and smiled helplessly. He greeted Kayden and Dimitri politely then he excused himself, saying he was tired and wanted to go back to his room with the twins.

I cam say that it was not a heated encounter between the three husbands and it also did not seem to be a joyous occasion. It was more of an awkward situation since knowing the others existed is different from seeing them everyday and then living in the same place together.

Ioannis knew that some of my husbands are pregnant. I never hid such information from him as part of my promise that I will tell him of any changes within the family. Most likely, he just forgot that it is about time for the two of them to give birth.

Just when I thought that I could rest for a bit, I remembered a special occasion is coming up soon. Now, I really have to consult Ioannis about it as our babies will be turning one in a few days. I am not sure if birthdays are a big deal in this world but for my family, every child’s birthday will be celebrated with a party with lots of food and cheers.

I went to the room and followed Ioannis inside, confusion written all over his face as to why I was there. He was even more surprised when I discussed my reason for visit and when I shared my ideas for the birthday celebration. He eventually laughed and warned me in an amused tone that I am setting up a trap for myself since the standards for all birthdays in the future will be high with all that I got planned.

He then told me that all the other fathers will expect that I will prepare the same type of birthday celebration to their children as well and I have to make sure that it will not cause issues. I smiled at him brightly and told him that it was no problem to do it for every child. This is one of the reasons why I am doing my best to earn money so that I can give them the best of everything.

He looked at me with doting eyes and a sweet smile. He then hugged me tight all of a sudden and thanked me for wanting to make the day special for the children.

Well, It would have been a very touching moment but I just could not stop myself from wanting to tease him. And so, I whispered to Ioannis’ ear, "One year left, my dear husband..." and then I playfully spanked and squeezed on one of his butt cheeks but I made sure it wouldn’t hurt.

Ioannis gasped and to get even he also playfully bit me on my shoulder since he can’t escape my tight embrace. He squirmed about and I eventually freed him from my arms. Once free, he turned around and almost ran away to another corner of the room to hide but I did not miss the look of utmost embarrassment on his face.

Well, we had an agreement that we will set two years as our rest period in between pregnancies and since the children are now turning one, I am confident that my math is perfectly correct. With the little meeting with Ioannis done, the days after that were spent preparing for my eldest twins’ first birthday party. I tried to ask the twins what they wanted for their party but it posed quite a challenge since they tend to change their minds so frequently like all children do.

After a few days, the birthday was held which was attended by all of my husbands in Eieneos and Tadhana together with the new sets of twin babies. It would have been amazing if the ones in the human realm can join us too but it would be hard for their bodies to suddenly come here and adapt to this mana-rich realm.

The ones that enjoyed the most were the kids as I have prepared a big play pen in the living room for them filled with soft cushion, pillows, plushies and toys. My children develop fast and they can somewhat communicate with each other telepathically so it looked like a big play date of kids. The only difference it has from a regular play date was that all of them have the same mother.

The adults also enjoyed all the food and drinks. It was actually awkward at first, seeing just how many husbands I currently have in both realms but they eventually got over it and started chatting and getting to know each other. It feels great to watch them at least trying to be civil or friendly with each other since I prohibit infighting within the family.

As my family continued to grow, I am starting to feel the pressure on learning that ancient spell so that I could be able to divide myself by making a clone that shares my memories and consciousness. It would enable me to be in more than one place at any given time. Of course, a family reunion seems to be needed as well. The question is, "Where should we do it so that we would all be safe from prying eyes and that was convenient for everyone in terms of travelling.

I belatedly realized that my mind is wondering once more to the other things I wanted to do in the near future. I shook my head and focused on the things that are happening in the birthday party but Ioannis did not miss that faraway look and dazed look I am sporting a few seconds ago.

Our eyes met as I was looking around and he mouthed, "Is there a problem?" I replied telepathically that there was none and I was simply thinking about something about my plans. Then from reading his lips, I can see that he said, "Tell me about what you are worried about later."

My first husband really knows me since we have been together the longest if you think about it. I could never hide my emotions and noticed any change in my mood even though I try my best to look fine just like when I was worrying and thinking about the family.

I smiled towards Ioannis and nodded to him. Then we broke eye contact to tend to the other people in the party as well as the kids. That silent interaction lasted barely a minutes but it means a lot for some who is confused and feeling alone like me at times.

So much for the little drama, the first birthday party was a success. The husbands are getting along well and the babies are enjoying their playtime.

All in all, I was living the life of someone on a long vacation for the past few weeks since I left the academe. I just love the fact that I do not have the need to study or attend classes, work personally to earn money, to worry about any deadlines or deal with people that want to be close to me even if I don’t want them to. Too bad, I still have to return in a few weeks time.
