CHAPTER 601: CHAPTER 601 - REPORTING BACK TO THE ACADEME

I did not even last half an hour in the headmaster’s office and easily got permission about two more upcoming leaves of absence. It is not like he has a choice if the reason is the birth of my children. He shooed me out but still congratulated me sincerely for the new additions in my family.

After leaving the headmaster’s office, I went directly to the Student Affairs Office to report the end of my academic leave and also enroll to some short courses to signify my return for the current term. I have long since finished the major and minor subjects for my 2-year stay in the academe. Now, I simply am choosing whatever elective subject I like.

I have already taken random classes such as flower arrangement, painting, sewing, alcohol brewing, candle making, enchanting jewels and even pottery making classes. It is actually getting harder and harder for me to find some short classes that would interest me since I have already taken once that I liked for the past year.

For the current term, maybe I can do some type of knitting or embroidery classes since I have a lot of cute babies to make clothes for. It is not that I do not know how to do it because of the knowledge I inherited but it needed hands-on practice and I wanted to get ideas on popular and cute designs for children.

After chatting a bit with my friend at the Student Affairs Office, I went straight to the library to go to my personal study room. I used the rest of the afternoon to create some personal hygiene products that I have run out of. The afternoon might be long but I can always tinker with the time to make it slower.

I only left the room when it was sunset as I can still see the real time outside my separate space. I placed all the items in the shared storage space accessible to my husbands so they can get one whenever they needed it.

Since my work is done, I left the library and started going back to my villa. I passed by some students chatting along the corridors who were also on their way home to their respective dorms.

As I was passing by the fountain, I noticed three familiar individuals. The other two seemed to be ganging up on the other one for some reason.

I concealed myself using a magic spell and approached the three stealthily to listen in to their conversation. As to who those three were, the one being ganged up on was Arthur, my personal attendant. The ones who are ganging up on him, surprisingly, was Clarence, the priest from the Church of Lumienere and Caius, that general from the north. I did not know that they were friend!

I guess when you share the same goals with someone, your feeling about the other person gets shelved temporarily. As expected, the topic of the conversation is trying to extract information from Arthur as to where I went and when I am coming back to which the latter answered that he did not know.

Just to be clear, he knew why I needed to leave but he definitely did not know where I went as well as how long I will be out of the academe. Even my return today is meant to be a surprise for Arthur.

I continued to stealthily approach the trio then positioned myself right behind Arthur before undoing my invisibility spell. I grabbed Arthur around his waist and whispered, "I’m back".

He stiffened and looked back at me in surprise. After confirming it was me, he gave me a sweet smile and whispered back, "Welcome home, master." then his face blushed after he belatedly realized that I was hugging him from behind.

The other two men who was previously being aggressive towards Arthur was stunned into silence after seeing me suddenly appearing behind the man they were ganging up on. I looked at the two of them coldly and replied on Arthur’s behalf as I said, "He really does not know where I have been or when I will return because I never told him. Though, he knows why I needed to leave."

I gave the two a naughty smirk and without any warning, I teleported away from the area near the fountain and straight to the living room of my villa. I felt Arthur stiffen in my arms and after reappearing, his legs wobbled and he involuntary leaned back towards me for support.

Oh! I totally forgot to tell him that we are going to teleport!

Arthur started tapping my hand to get my attention then he pointed towards the kitchen. I looked at him not understanding what he meant so he forced himself to speak, "Feel sick... Need sink..." I think he is going to throw up from being dizzy.

After giving him water and tapping his back for a bit, he finally stopped heaving and did not feel as sick as earlier. He still looked at me like I bullied him but he did not blame me verbally. Him looking at me like that had the same effect though.

I excused him from making dinner and opted to have some porridge instead which would be light and at the same time, warm on both our stomachs. He thanked me for the food and started eating. He sometimes stole glances from me while he did as if he wanted to ask something.

I stared at him and waited for him to look at me again so I could catch him in the act. It did not take long for it to happen and then I raised my brow towards him as if asking him, "What’s up?"

He suddenly choked as he realized that I caught him staring and had to drink water again. He coughed once more to clear his throat and looked at me seriously, "Master, I just want you to know that I have saved enough to buy my freedom from the academe. Please, don’t buy my freedom just yet since I want to continue earning points to add to yours when you graduate through academe tasks and personal tasks from you. If I became yours immediately, I can only earn points by taking classes which would be too slow."
