CHAPTER 241: THE 30 ADVANCED CLASS STUDENTS (1)
He saw Elysia after a long time. She was the same bright-eyed girl, only a lot taller and louder, but somehow still the same in his eyes
He had only seen her almost 2 years ago, at the time of the ceremony, and then the noble meet-up.
’Has she even grown in height? She’s the same height as me... oh wait,’ Theo felt dumb thinking about it. They had both grown taller in these 2 years and were at the same height.
"It’s great to meet you, Elysia," Theo said with a smile and nodded in affirmation.
"Gosh, why are you so normal right now? We are not in our families anymore, Theo!" Elysia spoke with laughter and tapped Theo’s shoulder, making him freeze.
’The hell?’
Theo felt like he was being trolled right now.
"I am the same as I have always been, Elysia. How have you been?" Theo asked, trying to ignore what she said, but she only pouted.
"I have been doing really well, Theo. My family got me to level 5, too! Have you noticed?" she said in excitement.
Even before Theo saw the status screen, his mind diverted toward the memories from the time he met her last. Was she always this active?
But soon, he stopped thinking about it. The kid had just gotten out of the sight of her family, and she was trying to be the child that she should have been at this age.

"Congratulations, Elysia. And it’s great we are in the same class now, at least I know someone now," Theo spoke with a chuckle, making Elysia laugh too.
Both Clara and Elias looked at Theo and smiled. It was nice seeing him with someone else.
"Also, let me introduce my attendants. She is Clara, and he is Elias."
"That’s the most to-the-point introduction I have ever heard. Such a formal person," Elysia spoke while shaking her head in disappointment, making Theo’s eyebrow twitch.
"Well, you’re loud, so I think it’s okay," Theo spoke right away, then stopped to think why he had said that.
Elysia looked at him with widened eyes and shock for a moment before a smile bloomed on her face.
"Well, you’re an idiot! How about that?" Elysia spoke with a proud look.
But then she saw all the kids looking at her, and that was when she came back to reality, and her demeanor changed.
Theo could see her back straighten up and that playful expression change to a serious one—the one they were all trained to keep in public.
It seemed there was a limit to how much she could stray from her responsibilities of being from a noble family.
"Don’t care about these kids around us. They will talk even if there is nothing to talk about," Theo spoke, making some who were near look in anger, but they did not retaliate.
"THEOO!!! I finally found you!"
Elysia jerked up when a shout came from the side, but close.
Theo saw Ron running toward him with open arms and stepped back instinctively. The guy was back.
Ron soon came and hugged Theo from the side, making Theo want to get a little more back.
After a few seconds and Ron didn’t let go of the hug, so Theo forced his way out of it, making Ron look at him with excited eyes.
"Why are you so late, Ron? We have to be there in a hurry now," Theo spoke only to notice the green uniform the guy was wearing.
"Well, I was looking for you! And I see you got into that advanced class. I am just a class lower than you!"
Elysia looked at the hyperactive kid and tried to back away, only for Theo to notice and smirk.
"That’s great. But also, meet my friend here, Ron," he said and nodded toward her, making Ron look back with even more excitement.
"She is Elysia Stonekeep."
"Hi—"
"Nice to meet you, Elysia! Wait, I can call you Elysia, right? But I have already called you that, so I guess it’s fine. How are you? How do you know Theo?"
The number of questions bombarded toward Elysia made Theo want to burst out in laughter, but he tried his best to control it.
Clara and Elias tried to hold back too, but they were happier seeing how Theo was smiling with other kids his age.
After that point, it was as if a load was shifted from him to Elysia. They moved toward the ceremony hall, and all the way, Ron talked with Elysia instead of him.
Yet surprisingly, Elysia didn’t seem to mind it. She became as active in the conversation as Ron, making the excited one even more excited after feeling the energy.
"What affinity do you have, Ron? I have Ash."
"Oh, Ash! I have heard about it! You have it good, Elysia. I have a unique affinity instead, it’s Decay."
"You have a unique affinity too?" she spoke while looking at Theo, who nodded.
"I have heard Ash is a common affinity, but there are still a lot of things at a higher level that you have to find on your own. Ash is weirdly in the rare range, even though it’s called common by us for some reason." Ron spoke in a thoughtful tone.
"You are quite knowledgeable, Ron. I do have a path that I can focus on right now, but at a certain level, I will have to look for things on my own to get better," she spoke and continued with a chuckle. "But it’s not as bad as your unique affinity, guys. You both have it rough."
When Elysia said that, Ron’s giggling changed to that of a smirk, which was even noticeable by Elysia this time.
"Well, I wouldn’t say that. I might have a unique affinity, but I have been making a lot of findings about it, which is making progress faster. It’s like I was born for this affinity," he spoke in a prideful tone, surprising both Theo and Elysia.
"And it’s not like Theo has it difficult too. You should have seen his performance yesterday. He even made a speech abou– mmf"
Theo kept a hand on Ron’s mouth as quickly as he could.
"What was that about a speech?"
"I WILL ACCEPT ALL CHALLENGES!"
"Stop that!" Theo almost cringed listening to it.
Out of everyone around in the student body, the trio was one of the only one who was that loud and seemed to be having a great time.
