Invincible Divine Doctor of the Beautiful Lady
Chapter 30 - 30 30 Played
30: Chapter 30 Played 30: Chapter 30 Played Beautiful moments are always fleeting, and after roughly half an hour Zhao Xinxin awoke, opening her eyes to look at Tangyu.
Tangyu quickly averted his gaze, casually wiping away a trace of drool at the corner of his mouth, feigning nonchalance.
Having rested a bit, Zhao Xinxin’s intoxication had also faded somewhat.
Liu Mei frowned slightly and glared at Tangyu, “Still pretending.”
Caught red-handed, Tangyu could only scratch his head and bravely admit, “Hehe, Xinxin, you’re awake.
It’s getting light outside.
I should take you home now.”
“It’s already 5:30.
I slept for more than half an hour.
Tell me honestly, you weren’t watching me the whole time, were you?” Zhao Xinxin’s gaze bore into Tangyu with a hint of aggression.
Tangyu shuddered and then patted his chest, saying, “No, Xinxin, I only watched you for at most half an hour.”
Zhao Xinxin’s gaze still fixed intently on Tangyu, she asked, “And the remaining minutes?”
“I, uh, got out of the car to take care of something,” Tangyu replied.
Zhao Xinxin’s eyebrows knitted together, her face immediately flushed with a touch of red as she spat out a word, “Shameless.”
Shot again—
Tangyu pursed his lips, feeling wronged.
He had just stepped out to relieve himself.
How did that become shameless?
Wait a minute, Xinxin couldn’t possibly think he had stepped out of the car to do ‘that,’ could she?
With this thought, Tangyu felt the need to clarify, “Xinxin, I just went to pee.
What were you thinking?”
“Crude, stop talking about that, let’s drive,” Zhao Xinxin commanded without turning back.
Tangyu shook his head, realizing he was destined to take the blame.
Twenty minutes later, they returned to Zhao Xinxin’s apartment.
By now, the dawn was breaking, but there was still plenty of time before work.
Starting work at nine o’clock and leaving at eight thirty would be perfectly fine.
“Tangyu, just sit in the living room for a bit.
I’m going to take a shower,” Zhao Xinxin dropped these words and walked towards her room.
Tangyu glanced at the kitchen and said, “Xinxin, how about I make some breakfast for you?”
“Whatever,” Zhao Xinxin replied without looking back.
Tangyu went into the kitchen and started cooking porridge, finding preserved eggs and lean meat in the fridge just in time.
Half an hour later, a voice came from the bathroom.
Tangyu walked to the bathroom door; unfortunately, it wasn’t made of glass, so he couldn’t see anything inside, “Xinxin, did you call me?”
“Yeah, Tangyu, I forgot to grab my clothes.
Could you help me get them?” Zhao Xinxin’s voice came through.
Tangyu was slightly startled; a sly smile quickly spread across his face.
“Xinxin, this, me fetching your clothes, isn’t that a bit inappropriate?”
“I don’t mind, so why do you?
Unless you want me to stay in the bathroom forever, or you can step out and I’ll come out to get them myself,” Zhao Xinxin suggested.
“Alright, Xinxin, then I’ll get them for you.
Where are your clothes?
What do you need?” Tangyu asked.
“The clothes are in my room, hanging on the windowsill.
Just grab everything there,” Zhao Xinxin instructed.
After responding, Tangyu headed to Zhao Xinxin’s room.
Although it wasn’t his first visit to Xinxin’s room, upon entering he was still captivated by the room’s unique scent, which stirred his soul.
Approaching the window, he saw a purple bra and matching panties drying on the windowsill, along with a blue T-shirt and a white business suit.
The combination spoke of a mature femininity.
With all the clothes in hand, Tangyu couldn’t help but wickedly wonder, did Xinxin have a special fondness for purple?
Holding a woman’s bra and panties for the first time made Tangyu’s desire stir uncontrollably.
Several images involuntarily flashed across his mind.
Arriving at the bathroom with the clothes, Tangyu knocked and announced, “Xinxin, I’ve brought your clothes.”
“Turn your head to the side.
Don’t let your eyes wander, or you’ll regret it,” Zhao Xinxin warned from behind the door without opening it.
“I wouldn’t dream of it,” Tangyu assured, complacently turning his head away.
However, missing such an opportunity just wasn’t in Tangyu’s nature.
If not with a straight gaze, couldn’t he sneak a peek with a side glance?
The bathroom door slowly cracked open, a hand reaching out from within.
Failing to grab anything at first, an eye eventually peeked out, followed by the exposure of half a body.
What Tangyu saw made his eyes widen.
Although less than a third was visible, it was more than enough to stoke his flames.
Snatching the clothes from Tangyu’s hand in haste, Zhao Xinxin immediately closed the bathroom door.
“So big, so white,” Tangyu swallowed saliva silently, a mischievous smile creeping onto his lips.
It took another full five minutes before Zhao Xinxin finally emerged from the bathroom.
The allure of a post-shower woman is unique.
Her slightly damp hair draped over her shoulders, her face radiantly flushed, she was irresistibly seductive.
Zhao Xinxin scrunched up her nose, headed to the dining room, and glanced at the pot of preserved egg and lean meat porridge on the table.
The enticing aroma made her hungry, “You can cook preserved egg and lean meat porridge?
Not bad, but let’s see how it tastes.”
Tangyu smiled and said, “It’s nothing really, Xinxin.
I’m a jack-of-all-trades in the kitchen.
The preserved egg and lean meat porridge I make is absolutely authentic, exclusively produced – guaranteeing that you, Xinxin, will have nothing but praise.”
“Don’t brag too much; I’m quite picky,” Zhao Xinxin remarked, sitting down as Tangyu had already served a bowl for her.
Tangyu curled his lip, “I haven’t been bragging for many years.”
Zhao Xinxin took a bite and her eyes widened instantly as she looked at Tangyu, “It seems you really weren’t boasting, this preserved egg and lean pork congee is indeed delicious, both fragrant and thick.
Who would’ve thought, Tangyu, you’re quite the chef.”
“Hehe, of course, Sister Xin.
You see, Sister Xin, hardly a few girls nowadays know how to cook, some even avoid the kitchen altogether just to stay clear of the fumes.
So, we men just have to step up.
But to find someone like me, talented and capable, fit for both the hall and the kitchen, who can both make a splash outside and return home in grace?
I must say, that’s quite rare,” Tangyu said.
“Pfft—”
Zhao Xinxin couldn’t help but smile and gave Tangyu a stern look, “You really have no shame, do you?
Even self-love needs to be curbed a bit.
Don’t think that just because you cook well, you’re all that.
I think you’re spoiling me.”
“Sister Xin, what do you mean by that?” Tangyu asked.
Zhao Xinxin said, “What do women care about the most?
I believe the vast majority care about their weight, right?
The tastier you cook, the more I can’t resist eating more, wouldn’t that be making me fat?
And if I get fat, I won’t be pretty anymore, so tell me, aren’t you spoiling me?
Moreover, once a woman gets a taste for something, she’ll keep craving it.
If you spoil me with this preserved egg and lean pork congee and I can’t eat it again in the future, wouldn’t that be spoiling me?”
“Hehe, Sister Xin, whether you’re a bit thicker or thinner, you are beautiful.
To prevent this from happening, how about this, Sister Xin, let me be your boyfriend, then I can cook for you every day,” Tangyu said.
Zhao Xinxin glared at Tangyu, “Keep dreaming, you think just a serving of preserved egg and lean pork congee will make me your girlfriend?
You’re getting off too cheap.”
Tangyu rubbed his hands and smiled, “So, Sister Xin, are you giving me a chance to pursue you?”
“Don’t play word games with me.
I never said that.
From now on, you’d better put that thought out of your head, or it will end very badly for you.
Alright, I’m full.
You’d better hurry up and eat and clean up afterward,” Zhao Xinxin said bluntly, having eaten only half a bowl before putting down her chopsticks and heading into the room.
Watching Sister Xin walk away, Tangyu mused inwardly: Just don’t give me a chance, otherwise, I’ll definitely make you madly fall in love with me.
After finishing the remaining preserved egg and lean pork congee, including the half bowl left by Zhao Xinxin, Tangyu quickly cleaned up the bowls and chopsticks, leaving the dining table and kitchen spotless.
Just as he walked into the living room, he saw Zhao Xinxin heading his way.
Zhao Xinxin beckoned Tangyu over with a gesture.
Tangyu arched an eyebrow, having a vague feeling that something was off, but he still approached and asked, “Sister Xin, is something the matter?”
“Come a little closer,” Zhao Xinxin gestured again.
Tangyu looked at the distance between them, already less than a meter.
Any closer and wouldn’t he practically be pressed against Sister Xin?
When the abnormal occurs, there must be an evil at work.
Tangyu didn’t believe he had such charm that within a mere two days he had made Sister Xin take a liking to him.
So, this was probably a trap.
“Sister Xin, if you have any commands, just say them, I can hear you,” Tangyu said.
Zhao Xinxin’s lips curled into a faint smile, “What, are you afraid I’ll eat you?
When I tell you to come closer, do it.”
“No, Sister Xin, any closer and I’m afraid I won’t be able to resist eating you,” Tangyu honestly confessed.
“Hmph, if you have the guts to try, then go ahead,” Zhao Xinxin smiled lightly, her eyes crossing with a sharp gleam as she looked at Tangyu.
Tangyu could feel a bit of Song Qingyu’s dominant spirit emanating from Sister Xin.
With such a woman, Tangyu naturally had to be careful.
Besides, Sister Xin was still his immediate supervisor—if he offended her, he would definitely suffer the consequences.
“No, Sister Xin, I was just joking.
Even with ten times the courage, I wouldn’t dare.
Sister Xin, if I have offended you in any way, please just tell me,” Tangyu said.
Zhao Xinxin replied, “How could you have?
You actually helped me today and even made congee for me.
How could you offend me?
Just come closer, be good and hurry over.”
It was definitely a trap.
Tangyu was certain of it, but at this point, he had no choice but to move closer to Zhao Xinxin, stopping only when he was about a fist’s distance away.
Being so close to Zhao Xinxin, he could feel her breath.
This unique scent involuntarily sparked a surge of inexplicable desire in Tangyu to draw Sister Xin into his arms.
“Do you like me?” Zhao Xinxin’s question almost made Tangyu choke on his own saliva.
Sister Xin was being— too bold and direct, wasn’t she?
“Sister Xin, you treat me so well, care about me so much, of course, I like and respect you.
Besides that, I absolutely have no other thoughts about you,” Tangyu replied energetically.
Zhao Xinxin grabbed Tangyu’s collar, “You can have other thoughts, hug me.”
Tangyu’s eyes bulged.
Sister Xin couldn’t have taken some love potion, could she?
Wasn’t this tempting him into committing a crime?
“Sister Xin, that’s not quite appropriate, men and women shouldn’t get too close,” Tangyu gritted his teeth secretly, thinking it was definitely a trap.
“What, still afraid I’ll eat you?
If you don’t treasure the opportunity, then forget it,” Zhao Xinxin said.
“This—”
Tangyu glanced at Zhao Xinxin and hesitated, questioning if this was really a pie falling from the sky or a trap.
“No thanks,” after struggling with himself, Tangyu declined.
Zhao Xinxin gave a cold smile and pushed Tangyu away, regaining her composure, “Good for you, knowing your place.
Don’t think I didn’t notice your wandering eyes just now.
Next time you dare to look, I’ll gouge out your eyeballs.
Go downstairs and drive to work.”
Tangyu bit his teeth in frustration, once again teased by Sister Xin.
Sooner or later, he’d tease her back, damn it.
