"Contracted spirit!?"

"That's right, Est is my contracted spirit."

"But, Master Altair, aren't you a spirit yourself?"

"Who said a spirit can't contract another spirit?"

"Well, that's common knowledge…"

"Then explain the Dark Elf King."

"Uh…"

"Rinslet, you just didn't know."

"Alright, Master Altair, I was rude just now."

In the chaotic bedroom, Altair sat on the disheveled bed, arms crossed, while Rinslet knelt on the carpet across from him, her face flushed.

Not from shyness, but from embarrassment.

The moment she saw Est kissing Altair, her first thought was that Est was some unknown girl from the academy, sneaking in through the window while Rinslet was away, stripping down to seduce Altair and form a contract, stealing him from her.

That was unacceptable!

Last night, Rinslet had kissed Altair six times to receive a fraction of his power and complete their contract. In the process, she had been fully exposed to him. Whether for her sister's rescue or her own sake, Rinslet would never allow anyone to take Altair from her.

In her anger, she summoned Fenrir and attacked.

Naturally, Altair blocked the attack. Even if he hadn't, Est could have handled it.

After the attack was deflected, Est completed her contract with Altair. She sat on his lap, arms around his neck, her face pressed against his chest, silently gazing at Rinslet.

To Rinslet, Est's demeanor was pure provocation, reigniting her anger. She prepared to draw her bow for a second attack.

Fortunately, Altair leaped from the bed to stop her, and after some explanation, cleared up the misunderstanding.

With everything clarified, Altair didn't hold it against her. He just hadn't expected to experience the classic harem protagonist's plight, a lover's spat sparked by one partner catching him with another.

Being intimate with one member of his harem only to be discovered by another, triggering a dramatic confrontation, was a tired trope. He never imagined it would happen to him.

But, well, it wasn't so bad. Unlike those spineless protagonists, Altair saw this as proof of Rinslet's feelings for him, which would make it much easier to make her one of his wives!

Looking at Rinslet, her face red and hands fidgeting, Altair found her utterly adorable.

He had to make her his wife, and soon!

"It's alright, stand up. The misunderstanding's cleared."

Altair reached out, pulling Rinslet up from the carpet. One hand steadied her, the other gently caressed her soft, fair cheek as he offered a radiant smile to comfort her.

"My contracted spirit is named Est. Like me, she's a high-ranking spirit, but a sword spirit, and a bit scatterbrained. Going forward, Rinslet, you'll need to get along with her."

"Moreover, I'm your contracted spirit, so I'm your strength. Est is my contracted spirit, so she'll be your strength too. You don't need to worry, because you, Rinslet, are my only contractor in this world."

Master Altair is so cool!

Feeling the warmth of his palm, Rinslet blushed, her heart stirred by his words. She nodded happily.

"Yes, Master Altair, I understand."

His reassurance brought a smile back to her face. She was thrilled to hear what she wanted: she was Altair's only contractor, and Est was just a contracted spirit. Their roles were distinct, and she remained the unique one.

"Miss, we're coming in."

Carol's voice came from outside the bedroom, and the door opened. The silver-haired sword spirit darted in, rushing to Altair's side and looking up at him.

"Altair, I'm back."

"Welcome back."

Altair gently stroked Est's silver hair, making her squint with delight.

Est was no longer in her earlier state, wearing only knee-high stockings. During his explanation, Altair had asked Rinslet to find her some clothes. It wouldn't do for her to stay like that, especially with another man in the academy.

So, Rinslet had Carol fetch a smaller school uniform. Now, dressed in it, Est looked like a beautiful student of the academy.

"So cute."

Rinslet couldn't help but exclaim, watching Est enjoy Altair's touch. Earlier, she'd thought Est was a rival, so she hadn't paid close attention. Now, observing her up close, she realized Est was genuinely adorable.

Rinslet's gaze darted between Est and Altair.

She loved cute things, including people. That's why she kept Carol, her clumsy maid, by her side, doing nothing but being adorable. Now, her contracted black dragon spirit, in human form, was strikingly handsome, with golden hair like hers. After last night's intimate moments, her affection for him had soared. Altair's appearance perfectly matched her ideal type!

And this impossibly handsome male spirit came with an equally adorable female sword spirit. It was perfect!

Both Master Altair and Est fit Rinslet's tastes perfectly!

She had to hold onto them tightly and never let anyone take them away!

Clenching her fists, Rinslet made a silent vow.

Her cute, scatterbrained maid Carol, the handsome and powerful dragon spirit Altair, and the petite, charming sword spirit Est.

You thought Altair was building a harem? No, Rinslet was the one building the harem!

"Master Altair, Est, it's getting late. Let's have breakfast. I have classes soon."

With grand ambitions in her heart, Rinslet smiled at Altair and Est.

"You're right. We've spent a lot of time this morning, and you have classes to attend as a student. We should hurry."

Altair nodded in agreement. As for Est, a pure spirit, she didn't understand the academy's rules and simply followed Altair.

"Then let's eat. I made crepes this morning!"

Rinslet clapped her hands excitedly, brimming with anticipation for the days ahead.

Hi guys, I hope you're all doing well! I want to share that I'm currently working on a new project related to Lord of Mysteries.

If you're interested, feel free to visit my profile and start reading. Below is a brief summary:

[Lord of Mysteries: Incarnation of Chaos]

Have you ever wondered what would happen if someone from a Lovecraftian world got isekai'd into another world built on Lovecraftian themes? Well, it's absolute chaos.

Meet Alaric, a human(questionably) survivor of the madness and chaos caused by a certain crawling chaos, who, thanks to the kindness of a certain bubble daddy, got isekai'd into the "fake it till you make it" world.

What will he do in this strange new world? Climb the ladder of power to become that impossible god unless you're just a pawn of a certain russian priest or a certain goth mommy?

Or become a cheshire cat, leaping onto the 4D chessboard to disrupt the schemes and mind games of these bizarre folks?

For Alaric, it's not a tough choice. But before he picks either path, he must, of course, uphold the time-honored tradition of isekai'd victims(questionably) that forms the foundation of this world.

What's that tradition?

Keeping a diary.

[Alaric's Transmigration Diary]

[Day 1: I encountered Amon. Used a special technique to summon a projection of the Ancient Sun God, who personally delivered a heavy slap to Amon. Hope Amon appreciates this weighty paternal affection.]

[Day 2: I received an invitation from the Aurora Order. Told them I want it all... looks, brains, and combat prowess... and invited them to join my newly founded Joker Club.]

[Day 3: I met Leonard and acknowledged Gramps Pallez. Declined Leonard's enthusiastic suggestion for the old man to move in with me, as I'd rather not have a old man critiquing my every move, even in private moments.]

[Day 4: I told Klein I plan to pray to a deity named The Fool. Watched his eyes widen in shock and kindly offered him some eye drops.]

[Day 5: I listened to Medici perform a two-hour comedy routine. Suggested he go professional and invited him to share a meal.]

.

[Day 666: I fully absorbed a certain crawling chaos fragment within me. From now on, I am the Fifth Pillar.]
